Another beautiful wild camping trip up on the North Yorkshire Moors, this was back in August so a slight delay in posting. You can't beat a summer wild camp, when the weather is on your side!!
Thank you as always for joining me over here on UK CARRIE OUTDOORS 🥰
I look forward too catching up in the comments 🥰🙌🏻
All support is much appreciated over at buy me coffee 🥰

Hey, thank you for taking the time to watch & I hope everyone is keeping ok 🥰 I look forward to catching up in the comments 🙏🏼
The best kind of mother daughter memories right there. In a few years she won't remember what she watched on TV but she will remember eating noodles in the woods and having chocolate for breakfast in a tent the next morning ♥️
Aww thank you 🙏🏼
Great to see kids getting out in nature. Looks like it was a lovely trip 😊
Hi Carrie, lovely video and life lesson for Sophie. I took my sons camping at a similar age and now they are taking their own kids camping, thank you so much for sharing this 😊
Lovely family time in the woods 🌳
Thank you, it was a great trip 🙌🏻
I call it middle earth? Always beautiful and a mistery.💯⛺️🏴🇬🇧
Love your video's always so chilled, time spent outdoor with the kids is a time they will always remember. My lad is 33 now and still talks about our times out camping.
Ahh I love that- they are the best memories 🙌🏻
Thanks for bringing us along, subbed ❤
Thank you so much 🙌🏻
Well done for taking your daughter out in the woods, kids rarely get to see, smell and enjoy the outdoors these days. I love the countryside in all weathers and all seasons, I do hate the midges, mozzies and ticks though… thanks for sharing 👍🏻🏴
Ahh it’s always good to get little ones out there in nature 🙌🏻
Great video the outdoors in the middle of nowhere simply perfect. What beautiful memories you are building with your daughter. Love your channel xx
Thank you so much 🙌🏻
Always enjoy your vids thank you for taking us along to such a beautiful spot... ❤

Looks like you guys had a lovely time... 😊 Always cheers me up when I see you've put up another video, you always show lovely scenery. 👍🏻
Ah thank you so much 🙌🏻
It’s lovely seeing your daughter enjoying time outdoors with you. My daughters a teenager now so she won’t go anywhere without internet 😂
🤣 oh I’m just on the edge of that phase and it’s already hard haha! I’m ready for a rollercoaster of emotions over the next few years haha

Great vid, nice camp , looked nice and chilled apart from bloody bugs 👍
Thank you 🙏🏼
@@ukcarrieoutdoors9840 your welcome 👍
Great video thanks Carrie. I live in NZ and just coming out of winter. Went for a stroll in the bush on Friday and looking forward to an overnight next month! Always awesome to have a great camp and excellent camping spot! Beautiful 🇬🇧 🇳🇿
Aw your so lucky New Zealand looks so beautiful, I have friends over there and it looks amazing 🙏🏼
Loving the VLOG and love the NY Moors, top job 🙂
Thank you so much 🙌🏻
Hi Carrie, lovely to see you two camping out on what must have been one of the only proper balmy summer evenings we managed this year. Most restaurants boil Lobsters but I see you prefer 'Midge thermidor' 😁. There is something ethereal about forests in the early morning. I've walked early in the Rothiemurchus & Abernethy forests of the Cairngorms and it's just magical. Great little video xx
😂 midge Thermidor I’m not sure that camping dish will take off 🤣
A father of eight all grown here , enjoy the youth of your child's life ! It is fleeting and they grow up too soon ! My youngest of my four daughters is seventeen and watches your videos with me my youngest son is twenty seven and soon to have his own son , yep , grandpa to seven granddaughters and five grandsons and one on the way ! Stay safe young lady !
Aw wow you are busy with lots of beautiful children in your life 🥰 how lovely 🙌🏻
Mother daughter Me time is invaluable for the little one. Life skills and sharing can't be beaten in this sad world. More of these please. Bushyboy Oz.
I completely agree 🙌🏻
Hello Carrie thanku for the video good as always x ❤
Thank you so much 🙌🏻
Looks a great spot.
That's the only issue with summer wood camps, the insects are a pain!
Yea it’s definitely the downside of summer camping 😂
well done really enjoyed it , and lovely to spend it with your daughter , stay safe .
Thank you so much 🙏🏼
Nice video nothing better than being in a great pitch nobody around you can just be and re change
You can’t beat it can you 🙌🏻
Great video thanks, pity about the mozzies
Thank you 🙏🏼
Love your accent 😍 Soo need to get back into camping, looks awesome :)
Thank you so much for watching 🙏🏼
Pretty idylllic setting and evening- apart from the bugs!
Bugs aside it was perfect lol 🙌🏻
Hello from NZ, looked like you two really enjoyed yourselves. Bugs and noodles mmmmmmm. my fave. ATB cheers from the mountains of NZ ☺☺
😂 bugs and noodles are the staple of a camping diet lol
❤❤❤❤
Hey young lady,i used to go fishing and camping near woods and critters didn't bother me, no word of a lie i bought some midge repellent and it attracted them!! your doing your bit for North Yorkshire been the best out of all the parts of Yorkshire!!
lol I think they actually are attracted to the bug repellent for sure 😂
@@ukcarrieoutdoors9840 will you be doing any more wild camping as it's getting colder?
@@DavidDouglass-uc6bi yeah, I love winter camping 🏕️
@@ukcarrieoutdoors9840 give me a nice hotel in winter with a roaring open fire!!
you should do a live camp with comments. love your content btw
I have thought about it, but signals not always great where I camp! I think I’ll try next time I’m out 🙌🏻
Hi Carrie, Another inspiring video! My daughter and I enjoy motorcycle camping. It’s wonderful getting away from the city to spend time in the forest. You’ve inspired us to make some plans to go again, especially since it’s in the high 20s right now in the Toronto area. It’s funny how even a small creature like a frog can sound like something much bigger when it’s pitch dark outside. Looking forward to your next outing!
Aw amazing, those memories will stay with her forever 🙌🏻
so you still havent got some ir binoculers or thermal, shud give it a thought their very handy at night. cheers, mint vid.
I haven’t but I should really they would be really handy 🙌🏻
Lovely times making memories for you both ❤ I just wish you’d look at ‘me’ and not my left shoulder! 😊
👌👌👌❤️🙌👍
I enjoyed this. Great video, looked like you both had a good time. Apart from them bloody midges lol 👍
Thank you 🙏🏼 it was a great trip midges aside 😂
Looks lovely apart from the flying beasties! Which forest is that? Obviously I don't expect you to answer on this thread. I've not really done a woodland camp but would like to try.Living nearby to yourself just wondered if you could give me me some pointers on good locations. Take care .
I’m not actually sure of this particular woods name, I just drive out to the moors and explore different places and then if I find little spots like this i head back to camp there 🙌🏻
Hey, nice camp! 🏕 👍 ..... I'm getting itchy feet!
Thank you! It’s always good to be out 🙌🏻
I totally agree no matter how you choose, sometimes there is nothing better than stepping out of life’s stresses and appreciate your own company, thanks for sharing 😊
Absolutely 🙌🏻
Watch your daughter with those ticks.
I am currently having a wild camp in Weardale and the midges haven't come near me! Could be the garlic capsules I've started taking?
Ticks are a nightmare at the moment, definitely doing alot of checks for them!
Relatively new to your channel but thanks for sharing your experiences with the world. I do have a question for you though, im struggling with confidence to brave the wildcamping, the anxiety of getting out and doing it is winning, any advice please?
That’s completely understandable, I’d always say go somewhere you feel familiar and close to home so you feel more relaxed to start with & build your confidence before you travel further afield.
It’s a wonderful experience & you’ll really enjoy it 🙌🏻
@@ukcarrieoutdoors9840 thankyou. Have you done a video where you approach the issue of confidence of wildcamping, tips etc, would be very significant Carrie.
Your fly soup needs a bit of seasoning but the camp was perfect.
😂😂 can’t beat some fly soup lol
Great video ❤
Thank you 🙏🏼
Rain all of this year so far
We’ve had very few nice days it’s not been much of a summer 😣
Have you tried getting some mosquito spray ,if you don't want to put on on your skin spray it on your clothes
I’ve covered my self in the stuff 😂 it doesn’t seem to bother them lol
Where abouts was this ? :)
