So much jank I love it haha, nice FH and serves as well! I hate it so much when I do a loop and it comes back loaded with backspin and half long 😂 especially against players who attack if I push back I feel pressured to go for another attack and start messing up everything 😅
Your situation is understandable. 😁 In the game you often do not make the right move because you are under pressure. The solution to this is to have the opportunity to train against certain players so that it becomes automatic to make a better choice.
@AndreaAschi yeah I have been practicing more recently and am getting better at if it's half long/short from the pips and heavy backspin keeping my push half long/short, or going for a good long push deep to the pips side which is working better for me I think, then if they start turning mixing it up with wide FH and being ready to try block the attack. Anyway nice video I just subscribed, be good for me to watch your games as I need more experience playing and watching this play style
Hello! I guess you played with the whole abs series. Can you make a brief comparison between them? What would be the dominant characteristic of each - such as: the most reversal spin; the easiest to use; etc... which one is better for what? Thank you!
Hello! I must preface this by saying that I have only ever used the A-B-S (without the original sponge) in official matches. I have tried other anti (A-B-S 3 and A-B-S 2 PRO) only in training and for a short time. I can therefore make a comparison between these two. A-B-S 2 PRO is the one that absolutely has the best spin reversal (Similar to SuperGlanti). It is fast and difficult to control on an OFF+ blade. It should be used on something slower. It is the ideal rubber if you are able to attack the ball the way Mladenovic does. If you play the anti passively like I do then the A-B-S 3 is better suited...better control, you can use it safely on very fast blades. It is, however, overall a more predictable rubber.
Most players don’t know how to play against players who use antispin, but it’s relatively easy. I would win easily; I’m very used to playing against this type of player. Once you identify their strategy, you just need to neutralize it. They are usually weak and hide behind the antispin to score points. By neutralizing that, they have little to offer in terms of technique and performance, making them easy prey.
@@AndreaAschiforgot to mention twiddling. I have used anti spin to get a feel of it and I have played against anti and it really depends on their level of using it. Against an amateur anti player sure it’s easy to crack them open because they haven’t developed the toxic anti skill sets yet, but against a high level anti player good luck. It’s hard as to win especially if they can just twiddle without even thinking. People can talk all they want but you have to respect that rubber or you be a victim to it 😜

haha definitely it s not a no skill strategy. Anti especially frictionless is so hard to master or even get some decent results. You do have the feel and the experience and you put in the hours. People who think this is easy never tried to play with it in their whole lifes. I played anti and use long pips aggressively and find long pips better for my game at my level

@@garik70707 ABS3 Pro is the slowest of them all. And yes, the thicker the sponge, the slower it is. But also: the thicker the sponge, the less spin reversal it has. I don't know what blade Andrea uses at the moment but it's a quiet fast one. Love to you @Andrea, Jörg😘
Grazie
I don't do anything special. I simply try to remove the topsheet from the sponge by starting at one corner and making a light controlled upward pressure. Ciao Andrea sono molto incuriosito dall'anti spin.
The two sponges differ in hardness. The original sponge is harder and more direct. It works better if you are a player who uses it aggressively. Since I use anti only passively I find myself better off with the Spinlab one. It is very soft and has better control.
@AndreaAschi if you prefer control and soft sponge, what about abs 2soft(or other abs soft version)?I heard that soft means sponge is softter and better control, is it true abs soft can replace your spinlab sponge?because I have no way to buy this sponge.thanks.

At the same time transitioning from extremely slow blades to Off blades. Beating good players in Bavaria with such kind of setup is nowhere anything like „no skill“. It’s the exact opposite, but loosing opponents don’t understand that.
"No skill strategy" is balderdash. I am sorry, but you know very well that the antispin takes loads of skills to be able to handle it, especially against high-ranked players to reach full potential. Whoever states antispin and pimple rubbers take no skill to be used is lying or underestimating the potential these rubbers hide. Whether it takes more skill than a normal inverted rubber, I am not too sure, but definitely takes some skill. Different movements, blade angles. Not only technique or skill, even knowledge about how the color, sponge thickness, pimple structure, the blade, etc affects the performance. Nice collection of footage by the way! Is it possible for u to make a guide of how u glue ur anti, like how u attach the new sponge? Remove the old sponge from the abs? 😅

How thick is your pink sponge? And do you get the topsheet without sponge or do you remove the original sponge yourself?
The sponge is 2.3mm thick.
