As I grief, I began to make some childhood dishes. I stumbled upon your channel while searching for the taste of my mom. Her signature dishes were mostly Cantonese and Hakka in Malaysian style, and it was challenging to find the right recipes online until I found you. I am so delighted to say that your recipes are very close to what I remember about my mom's cooking (including this pan mee, one of the rare dishes that I received hands-on coaching from my mom - I wept when this video popped up on my TH-cam homepage), as well as other Chinese Malaysian dishes I grew up with. Thanks for sharing them. I can now share them with my kiddo too. I will forever be grateful for your kindness to share ❤️

My family favorite food. I usually add egg and cooking oil to the flour and divide dough into 100g each. It's much easier to cook individually instead of one big pot as 100g dough just enough for one serving. Especially for new cook, they might not able to pull the dough fast enough.
Aunty K L, thanks for your video. Your recipe is exactly like my grandma's. I followed your cooking method, and it really tastes like my grandma's recipe! I'm currently in London, and I really miss Malaysian food so much.
I usually cook the soup with anchovies, then cook a pot of mushroom sauce with minced pork for the topping. And then i cook the pan mee separately so that the soup doesn't become starchy.

我小時候常吃，看到這個視頻 滿滿的回憶湧出來。哭了😢 很想外婆外公，希望疫情快快結束，可以回家鄉見他們。
我們客家那邊叫：面板，可以鹹和甜兩種吃法。
我煮過一次給兒子吃，兒子很喜歡吃，每隔一段時間兒子就會要求要吃 面板。，他很喜歡幫忙一起做。我會跟他說我小時候做的事，玩的玩具，吃的東西，我小時候的沒食（回憶），我都盡量跟外婆或長輩學，再不學就失傳了。學會了做給兒子吃，這是我能留給他的回憶：是媽媽的味道

小时候遇到下雨天妈妈没有去割树胶(客家话讲水旱)，就会在家煮一大锅的板面给我们吃。小时候很期待妈妈煮板面因为会偷一小块挫好了的面粉当粘土来玩。

你说的对👍身为新加坡的我每次煮面粉果都会先把江鱼仔和带皮蒜头炒香后才放黄豆和大骨头耒熬高汤,至于配料我也是放干香菇,猪肉片,大虾,台湾香肠，蟹肉棒和苋菜,古早味的马尼菜孩子不太会吃😂而炸江鱼仔和小红葱头酥就是要吃才会放.如果是煮斋的高汤我就会放沙葛,黄豆和马玲薯去熬.辣椒酱里放一点酸柑在倒在汤里吃酸酸的又有酸柑的香味那就更好吃😋

我的拆麵粉是懶人版，哈哈，agakagak 放麵粉，加水，加一粒雞蛋，拆到光滑就可以了。。
然後要煮的時候我把麵團切一粒好像湯圓的Shape 丟在水裡面，然後一粒一粒拿出來拉一片片放進去煮。。口感也很不錯🤣
我自己研究的小技巧在我也不知道對不對
然後湯我是爆炒江魚仔然後加水滾一下咯， 料就冬菇木耳和豬肉碎另炒
板面是另外煮滾加Money 菜，然後才放進碗，加湯加料。。
我下次要學Auntie 醬一次過料全部一起煮，面也一起都進去一起滾，比較容易。。哈哈
