I've mowed a few and its like the yard was their trash can, step out the back door and just toss whatever right out in the yard and wonder why nobody would want to mow it...I don't have commercial equipment, so mowing stuff like that for me isn't something I care to do, I ruined a lawn tractor doing that, so I don't even attempt a yard that has a bunch of crap thrown out in it. I mowed a property a couple weeks back that had 3 foot tall grass/weeds. A friend of mine ended up with the property from a Sheriff's auction, it was overgrown pretty bad. Took my tractor with a 60" mid mount mower over and made quick work out of that one...yard itself wasn't bad, just overgrown as nobody had lived there for quite sometime. Once I got it mowed, it looked pretty good except for the run down mobile home sitting in the middle of it LOL...my friend and I both said man, that property would double in value if the mobile home was removed LOL. He's thinking of buying the empty lot next to it and getting rid of the mobile home and having a house built on the property and reselling it...I told him an actual house on that property if he were to buy the lot next to it would make the rest of the neighborhood look even trashier than it already is LOL...that area is nothing but a trash dump, run down mobile homes, poorly kept properties, now his place looks better than the others in the area already. I mowed a property about a month prior to that one which was about 1/2 an acre of dry weeds and about 3 feet tall as well... If the property is clear of debris I don't mind mowing it, but if there's stuff scattered all over in overgrown grass and weeds I won't even attempt it because I'm not going to damage my equipment.

Erik, great manicure of that entire lawn! A little schnip of the grass made the home look well maintained! You will God's attention for this lawn job for sure! The guy is a "single dad", men are NOT naturally "wired" to do the "mom" role. When one does step up to that task, he needs ALL the encouragement he can get for doing a job he's not completely open to! Support a guy who is in that position, he's taking on a role that he needs to learn how to do it by trial & error. When he makes a blunder, let him know it'll be just fine! Please viewers, don't dump on the guy that has to raise the kids alone. Chances are it's not his fault, yet, he knows he needs to take care of his family and he's doing it! Help him out when, and how you can. Sorry for the rant Erik, I've seen too many "dad's" skip out on their responsibility's when they needed to step up, they just stepped out and walked away-the lazy bums. Doug👍

You wear hearing protectors but think you should add a large hat to protect yourself from prolonged exposure to sun. Well done.
I xan just imagine the amount of time it would take to use a push mower on a lot this size. I mowed a vack yard that couldn't have been 55' x 30/40'. Grass was over knee high, but dried out. Took me all afternoon to get it done.
