Several guys on the internet do this. They are basically paid by people watching their videos and commercials. Some actually trim trees, bushes/hedges, and even mulch flower gardens. But these guys are perfect edgers.
The Dynamic Duo strikes again! Great job, Martin and Daniel!! That’s definitely a WOW job! The neighborhood looks better and is safer. Amazing how the yard is still so green!
The most enjoyment I get from these videos is seeing curbs getting a grooming. I have this thing about hairy curbs! Can’t stand to see grass growing over them and into the streets. Drives me crazy! Y’all did an excellent job on everything! 👍
After watching a bunch of these videos. I took a good look at mine. My curb is old and was so ugly. So I got sone bleach and my power washer out and cleaned it up. It looked so good afterwards. The only thing I couldn’t get rid of was the rust coming from the rebar in the curb. I also cleaned up the storm drain and painted the manhole cover. I was so proud of myself!
My husband and I keep our yard pristine we enjoy doing New things in our yard,we have neighbors who maybe mow their yard once a year and it upsets me because their weeds blow over to our lawn so this last summer I would go over their with my rider that has a bag when they were not home and mow their portion that butts up to ours that has helped so the weeds don't blow over to ours

It might be bad to say this, but I think these people are taking the Jeff Foxworthy approach to lawn care. As Jeff said in one of his skits…”I say, LET the grass grow! That way the thieves don’t KNOW there’s a house back there to break in and rob!” 😂 Gotta love, Jeff.

When I watch videos like this where neighbors volunteer to lend a hand to those who are down and out, I often sense the workers doing the clean-up are blessed even more than the home owners whose properties are getting "make-overs". It's nice to see that in this day and age, there are still people who are willing to help their fellow man out of tough situations. Bravo, M&D Lawn Care, BRAVO!!! Maybe the next time a project like this is tackled, you could use a vacuum attachment to your riding mower and remove all the dead clippings that rot and stink after a while, only to brown out and die later.
The mowed grass, weeds, and even leaves are actually helping to feed the lawn as the rain and sun turn it into new dirt. If you have a mulch bin then it can be put into it to make new dirt. A mulch bin is great to have. Anything that stinks as it rots can have a little lime thrown in it to stop the smell.
Sometimes the personal feelng of satisfaction of accomplishing something and knowing that others were not even willing to attempt, is worth more than any physical paycheck. People willing to invest their time, effort, and money make themselves valued unsung heroes of a community.

Beautiful job love watching your video's. Are you ever afraid of just getting on your mower and going through tall grass are brush not knowing if there are bee hives? I love how you take the time to video tape your dad while triming.
I love flowers but never thought I would love watching people mow and enjoy seeing the finish even if its a abandon house it make the neighborhood feel complete ..

Awesome work! You know after WW2 the Greatest Generation would have seen this was an abandoned home and took care of it until the house owner was notified. Now it’s 2023 and everyone in this area knows but did nothing. They sat and watched this father/son team tackle this again and could not even walk across the street to offer them a drink or beer for cleaning up this mess for free. I’d never want to live there. Really proud if M&D Lawncare for showing us how it’s done right!

Nice you kept an eye out on some of your work and are keeping it going. Good that is green and not so dusty. Interesting you are using a two mower approach, one taking down the overgrowth and the follower doing mowing height. Thanks for catching some of the vine climbing the home. It is not a good sign that some is starting to cover the roof. That was an absolutely great improvement on the whole place. Thank you.
