I really love the message Stolas is telling her. Instead of lying to her and saying that he'll never be gone someday, he tells her that someday when he's no longer there she'll be alright with just the memory of him. An amazing dad!
By the way, there is a difference between Hell-born demons and sinners, sinners are human souls that went to hell, Hell-born demons like imps, hellhounds, sucubus, the deadly sins and the Ars Goetia where (as the name implies) born in hell.
It's also worth noting Sinners can regenerate and revive themselves unless they're killed by angelic weaponry, while Hellborne demons are not immortal and can die by any means

I always love when reactors start Helluva Boss because the reaction to the first episode vs the second is almost always the same: a little bit of hesitance followed by woah this is great actually! something this show does that i think is very clever is that we get Blitzo’s perspective of Stolas first-we see him being aggressively sexual and annoying so we are put off by him too, and then the next episode we get the real side of him, a conflicted father who doesn’t always get it right but is trying his best. This show has its ups and downs, but one thing it does amazingly every time is character development. So glad you’re enjoying it!
When Look My Way came out, I tried to get a few reactors to do it the other way- if they thought this cartoon music video was great, they should start with episode 2, THEN 1. Didnt have any success, though.

stolas isnt really good at being a dad though. i mean, sure he reassures his daughter he'll always be there for her but at the same time when taking his daughter out to the amusement park to get her mind off family drama, he invites the man he's cheating on her mother with, which was the main cause of the arguments at the time. and even flirts with him the entire time instead of paying attention to his daughter's wishes
And she shows a bunch of bad fathers. It’s like a gallery of fathers, and I wonder why it’s such a consistent element. I try to avoid assuming that there’s a personal element to things, but there are SO MANY of them.

Like I said before - Helluva Boss is more comedy, compared to the Hazbin Hotel, but it will absolutely deck you with wholesomeness and felings when you least expect it
I enjoyed the pilot, and the first episode really showed off more of what the show could do. But THIS episode is what made me fall in love with Helluva Boss. More specifically the scene between Stolas and Octavia. Just the raw emotion on display was so real

Apparently, Mammon (One of The 7 Deadly Sins and The Prince of Greed Ring) who owns Loo Loo Land, sells the Fizzarolli merch, including robots and other Jester themes. While Luu Luu World is owned by Lucifer, Mammon creates a knockoff version of it (Loo Loo Land) in Greed Ring because he's greedy.
Helluva Fridays has a nice ring to it. Also, I admire your restraint with 1 episode per week. I binged both seasons last weekend, I couldn't tear myself away. You're in for a real treat.

And yes there's multiple Robo Fizz's their mass produced and Valentino owns one he's seemingly had customized a bit. You'll learn a lot more about Fizzaroli and his whole deal as the show goes on but to put simply he's one of the most popular entertainers in Hell and Mammon capitalizes on that.

From the moment this came out I always thought they did a great job with Octavia and Stolis. Gave of vibes of a father figuring out he was gay while he already had a family. He want to live his life but the guilt for breaking up his family would still be there. Showing how conflicted stolis was while reinforcing his dedication to his daughter.

i know a lot people have said anout the different rings and how to distinguish them, but the other thing that I don't see many mention: sinners are only allowed to exist in the pride ring, but hellborn can travel between all of them and each specific ring has a specific kind of hellborn native to it (for example imps are from wrath ring, now they live and create family wherever they want, but wrath is where their kind originated from)

LooLoo Land is in the greed ring which has a green sky & is run by Mammon. E/ ring’s sky is a different color & is run by a different embodiment of sin. Pride was red & run by Lucifer who also rules all of hell. Imp city, where the IMP office is is also in pride but we don’t know how close it is to Pentagram City where Charlie & the Hazbin Hotel is
the creators have said that anything they write about theme wise is something they, or someone on the team, has directly gone through and that with HB at least they are writing what the know. Its really cool, heartwarming, to see just how touching this show can be even with how wild crazy it is too

fun little fact, but everyone has little musical motifs that play when they are around (for the most part) especially Stolas, I know this is a bit old and you'll probably get to it in the episode, but his song "Owl in a Cage" carries his motif. ~
It occured to me after watching this episode so many times, all the people in the theme park are ALL Imps. It looked almost Imp exclusive, the fact Stolas grew up with Imp servants, i suddenly understand better why many say Stolas sees himself equals with Imps despite the hierarchy.
You will find out more about Fizzarolli, and his robot replicas in upcomming Helluva Boss episodes. I have to say the world building in this show, and Hazbin hotel is very cool. By the end of what is currently out of both shows you actually get a decent look at how the world is affected by the Sins Mamon and Osmodeus, How the overlord Carmine's weapons affect hell, the class system of hell, discrimination among hell species, and even where most of the worlds food is grown in hell.
This man not only recognized that Valentino had a robo-fizz, but also that robo-fizz ripped off Charlie's song in the pilot; far more observant than your average reaction channel, bravo.
In the show, they often use "Satan" in place of "God" in common phrases, like "Oh, Satan" or "thank Satan".... so maybe this series should be Satan Saturdays instead 😁 Or just Thank Satan It's Friday (but I miss the alliteration in that 😛). "That looks kind of like the robot Valentino had." I wonder if there's a reason for that... and I wonder if they'll explain it in season 2.... hmmm 🤔😅 It's important to pay attention to the words Stella uses to describe the situation. She doesn't care so much that he cheated on her, but that he "stooped" to being with an imp, the lower class. She cares more about her noble reputation than their relationship.

I’m so glad i watched this video because I haven’t seen those episodes since they came out and I’m noticing all the little details now after watching season 2 and also Hazbin. I love minor details, but I don’t often catch them until I rewatch
Please keep in mind that Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel are in the same universe, however they're not tied together at this point and all of the episodes before Season 2 Episode 8 came out before Hazbin Hotel. There are so many spoilers and Easter eggs in each show for each other. The Fizzerolibot is one of Mammon's product based on the real life Fizzeroli and they are sold throughout Hell for various reasons, but there is so much detail that I can't declose yet, so yes there is a LuLu World and it is a spin off of Disney Land, however at the time this show released we didn't even have a visual of what Lucifer looked like in Vivziepops mind. This episode was a great entrance to who stolas is as a person, he is flawed and in love with Blitzø, but Octavia comes above everything else. Even if he can't see her for the adult she's growing into at first, he eventually understands how she's feeling and wants her to be happy

i know a lot people have said anout the different rings and how to distinguish them, but the other thing that I don't see many mention: sinners are only allowed to exist in the pride ring, but hellborn can travel between all of them and each specific ring has a specific kind of hellborn native to it (for example imps are from wrath ring, now they live and create family wherever they want, but wrath is where their kind originated from)

LooLoo Land is in the greed ring which has a green sky & is run by Mammon. E/ ring’s sky is a different color & is run by a different embodiment of sin. Pride was red & run by Lucifer who also rules all of hell. Imp city, where the IMP office is is also in pride but we don’t know how close it is to Pentagram City where Charlie & the Hazbin Hotel is
Well meaning dads who kinda fuck up is pretty much one of the main themes of these shows lol.
the creators have said that anything they write about theme wise is something they, or someone on the team, has directly gone through and that with HB at least they are writing what the know. Its really cool, heartwarming, to see just how touching this show can be even with how wild crazy it is too

The actor who voice Blitz in Helluva Boss, also voice Katie Killjoy in Hazbin Hotel.
It occured to me after watching this episode so many times, all the people in the theme park are ALL Imps. It looked almost Imp exclusive, the fact Stolas grew up with Imp servants, i suddenly understand better why many say Stolas sees himself equals with Imps despite the hierarchy.

You will find out more about Fizzarolli, and his robot replicas in upcomming Helluva Boss episodes. I have to say the world building in this show, and Hazbin hotel is very cool. By the end of what is currently out of both shows you actually get a decent look at how the world is affected by the Sins Mamon and Osmodeus, How the overlord Carmine's weapons affect hell, the class system of hell, discrimination among hell species, and even where most of the worlds food is grown in hell.
I've been loving Helluva Boss as much as I LOVED Hazbin Hotel

It's important to pay attention to the words Stella uses to describe the situation. She doesn't care so much that he cheated on her, but that he "stooped" to being with an imp, the lower class. She cares more about her noble reputation than their relationship.

I’m so glad i watched this video because I haven’t seen those episodes since they came out and I’m noticing all the little details now after watching season 2 and also Hazbin. I love minor details, but I don’t often catch them until I rewatch
Please keep in mind that Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel are in the same universe, however they're not tied together at this point and all of the episodes before Season 2 Episode 8 came out before Hazbin Hotel. There are so many spoilers and Easter eggs in each show for each other. The Fizzerolibot is one of Mammon's product based on the real life Fizzeroli and they are sold throughout Hell for various reasons, but there is so much detail that I can't declose yet, so yes there is a LuLu World and it is a spin off of Disney Land, however at the time this show released we didn't even have a visual of what Lucifer looked like in Vivziepops mind. This episode was a great entrance to who stolas is as a person, he is flawed and in love with Blitzø, but Octavia comes above everything else. Even if he can't see her for the adult she's growing into at first, he eventually understands how she's feeling and wants her to be happy
