Fun fact. In hostile territory when enemies can be considered to pop up around any corner. Standard operating procedure is running the tank slowly on low gear cause the sound will be nearly impossible to pinpoint.

The design philosophy of this thing was literally just "let's slap a destroyer primary on a tank chasis."
A destroyers promary would be a 127mm or 150mm gun. The death star has an even bigger diameter. This is more in line with large calliber artillery.

I'm just here to point out that the tile covers LITERALLY EVERY HIGH-EXPLOSIVE TANK SHELL IN EXISTENCE.
So that it's the new editor that doesn't know how to pace the "funny" things, I've been wondering why Phly's editing has taken a steep dive into the editing style of the meme funny clips compilation direction. Like Phly's old editing where you had to wait to see and hear the edits of the precisely made points in the video where the added sounds actually made the thing funnier.
This style of just adding a meme soundclip everytime Phly shoots the enemy or sees a german tank etc is just cheap and lame, it has taken away the joy and anticipation of very well edited funny bit in the video.
The soup intro and r3 at 7.7 made me cry, it's too real

11:05 @PhlyDaily Now I'm not gonna pretend to be a professional about tanks or ammunition types or anything at all, but to answer your question, the extent of HESH rounds as anti-tank type ammo was to cause damage in the form of spall (the shell causes pressure which breaks the metal inside the tank, and the flakes/fragments of metal that break are called "spall" [to the extent of my knowledge]). The HESH shells themselves penetrating a heavy tank is near impossible because while the shells were commonly used by the British army for anti-tank purposes, their reason for being manufactured in the first place was to serve as anti-fortification/anti-emplacement ammunition to damage and/or destroy bunkers. Also, the rounds flatten out on contact, and that is why angled shots do not change the outcome of the spall effect. That is why HESHs don't penetrate and is basically the worst ammo type when it comes to fighting heavy tanks with enough armor to sometimes even deflect shots from tank destroyers. Hone it comes to lighter and medium armored tanks though, as long as there's enough metal on the inside, the crew will most likely not survive being pierced by so much metal. Please tell me if I'm wrong on anything, I'd appreciate the corrections.
