The reverse timeline of Rome going from a Theocracy, to a Monarchy, back to a republic, while reclaiming lost territory is quite fitting. Next thing that needs to happen is having the Huns rev in Austria
Are you talking about the Hungarians? We have nothing to do with the Huns. It's like an Austria or Australia type of thing.
23:50: It's because you started as the Papal States. Their Intelligentsia do not have the standard Anti-Clerical ideology.
generalist reviving the enemy of his favourite country
Final episode will be me releasing Tunis and feeding it all my territory
generalist uploading is the highlight of my day
You know what makes a redder Roman Republic? Roman Council Republic!
I just tried to unite Italy with Sicily. But I had the feeling that this has become significantly more difficult since the last patches. If you invite them into a customs union, that's still not enough. and I constantly had the problem of not being a candidate for the unification. It wasn't until 1900 that I got to the states I needed through wars of conquest. It cost me a lot of time and money to get there. That would make Spain easier to play.
You need really good relations too, and to be larger. For the most part you kinda just want to focus elsewhere rather than unifying the Italian peninsula first (kidna like what we did here w/ N. Africa)
“My kingdom for a red Rome,” that’s fantastic and quite fitting!
I love your videos. Please make more
Just wanted to say about the yo-yo at 15:45, sometimes the icon for accept or not does not update, but the numbers behind do, so if you had however over "become subject" in this case it might have said it would work. Just something I've noticed resantly
That is very interesting
I mean what is more Roman than just murdering the emperor to death, really?
True Roman regicide for true Romans.
I think parlamentary republic it's better suitet for restoring the roman republic because ancient rome was ruled by the senate
Enjoying the run, it’s fun to have the RP territory goals. Just beware the ides of March!
How many more episodes will this campaign have?
35
The run will die on March 15
Beware!
“We’ll have a bit of a go at israel” oy vey
Oof
watching this playthrough made me realize how much sucks that Imperator flopped so much...
Yeah, big sadge
please give us a japan video when i comes to mapi, ive been playing this country for a while i have been having alot of problems with it cause coal is only available in one province
Japan is rough, but I've also done them in 1.5 and might hold off until 1.6 at this point. Abuse rice as best you can I think
Not a fan of the flag. Wish it was something other than the generic blue white red stripes
Yeah I thought it was an SPQR one :(
Feathers in our cap... more like feathers in our galea!
Ayo!
You will need to fight Britain for Malta and Gibraltar.
They look red now, no one will notice
I think we'll be able to trade for them, but also that after taking Spain Gibraltar might be useful for getting the UK to move its troops off the isles so a landing is easier if full Roman borders are possible.
I think you should go universal sufferance. Instead of a Rome of the past do a Rome of eighteen hundreds. Rome was successful because it was adaptable, so I think it fits the rp
Yeah, but a lot of people want to see non-meta laws and play
