Jim I love you and your brothers channel I can sit I my house in Kansas City eat Ritz and peanut butter carackers while you get eatin buy black flies and sweets. LOVE YOUR CONTENT
That eagle really kept an eagle eye on you. When I spot an eagle, it always makes my day. That epic fishing hole was great. just one after another. Enjoyed the campfire and fresh cooked fish. What a trip! Take care.
With so much going on in the world I'd rather be in the wilderness. I had a great summer camping. I'm looking forward to some fall, and winter camping. thanks really good show.
Top #1man hands down you have a way about you it's like watching a wildlife adventure special event show keep people on the edge of their seats with excitement thankyou so much for all you are and do you make life happen take care we love you god bless
Hi Jim all though we love watching you and your trips we miss the family. Little Hudson and Wesley well grow so fast. We won’t recognize them. I’m a grandma so I know how fast they grow. We need an update of them and Tori. My grand boys miss them. Thanks
You have an uncanny ability to draw us in and make us feel we are right there with you the way you narrate the story your antics and can't forget your singing you are amazing what you give your audience best show in outdoors adventures thankyou❤
My favorite episode of the trip so far. I haven't been able to get out to film as much as i wanted to so this makes me feel like i was there...sorta..lol thanks Jim
Three big Grayling for supper. Now that's a true addict. What great scenery. Not a lot to compare to it. Some places in the Rockies I've seen. Thanks for posting all of this. Must be a lot of work setting a camera on shore, then having to go back for it against the current or at least walking back to it. Can you start a full size car with the Bluetti?
How wonderful to be watched by the Eagle sentinel! I've mentioned several times how gorgeous the country is! And I want to add how much I appreciate your sensitivity to the land to the original peoples...thanks for your videos and ATB!
Es These trips refresh my head, how peaceful I was paying close attention to your stories of other travelers who crossed those lakes hundreds of years ago, you are like a historian Jim
“This river is just surreal it’s so awesome” Well said Jim. Thanks so much for filming and sharing this with us. Been enjoying the whole series of this expedition. Amazing Yukon experience
Love your thoughts on following in the footsteps of those who have gone before you Jim. Part of a continuum and that is so special! Thanks as always, B💜
Really love the historical background you provide. The landscape is truly eye catching at every turn. Rivers like this must have been the superhighways for hundreds of years. Still the place looks untouched.
The mountains and geology of the area you're in, are by far the most interesting of all your shows. Thank you for going there and bringing me along vicariously, I would NEVER have known this range was up there if I hadn't been a fan of your travels.
Absolutely wonderful photography Jim. Hands down, one of the best segments to date. I noticed at that camp where you believed a structure of some sort was constructed, those mounds reminded me of burial plots. Just wondering out loud, haha. The rock column where the Eagle was perched actually looked like a perched Eagle from a distance. Thanks for sharing your journey and adventure. Cheers from the Northwoods of Vermont.
I've been following this series and enjoying it immensely. Such beautiful rivers and country. It makes me sad that the river season is closing here in AK.
Wow! Would be interesting to have a metal detector to use around those old structural signs to see what you might come up with. Amazing places! FYI my brother is also a Jim Baird 😎
Jim the Yukon has your name on it..i don't think it's much of a prediction that you and your family moves to the Yukon full time...and go to Ontario to visit and do your adventures and make your videos...i know it's easy in the bush..but do you eat rolled oats at home...NOT....all I can say Jim is thankyou for your adventures...love the videos...especially the scenery...well keep safe Jim and God Bless
I actually dint eat rolled oats at home very often at all. I’m not sure if I’ll move there. Maybe but I like Northern Ontario a lot because of all the lakes and interconnected waterways for one.
Hi Jim, positive, I completely agree with you. I chose such an exposed location in a big forrest on the top of a mountain and under a 300-year-old maple tree as my campsite. This place was simply ideal, had magic and a great all-round view. A stream flowed at the foot. As I later learned from a local friend, this site was a poorly looted Bronze Age burial mound. Alex greets you from the German Vulkan-Eifel
Sound like a great spot you e found there. Love the Bronze Age connection. This spot would have also been well above the river so, not in a area that would flood in spring with all the snow run off.
Thanks Jim, I needed this! I look all around your vids and nowhere do I see the arseholes making my day stressful, and I thank you for that! And the scenery, that's nice too. Shame about the forest fires, I know how the smoke can ruin the outdoors experience.
To take solo outdoor adventures takes a special character. I don’t know if it’s because I’ve gotten older or what, but when I’m on some sort of solo camping/hunting/fishing trip where I’m a long way away from my wife, kids, and now, grandkids, I get to feeling melancholy in my aloneness, and I almost ache to be home with my loved ones. I don’t remember being like that when I was younger and single, but it started getting bad in my 40’s and even worse now that I’m in my 50’s.
What an absolutely beautiful river for a canoe trip! The sights are breathtaking... Makes me want to go and canoe the Hart River now! Grew up canoeing the Saugeen River in Southwestern Ontario and I miss it dearly.
Lovin the history of the areas your traveling, the spectacular views WOW, quite the amazing place . love to hear of some of stories of the variouse who have lived life along the river why they chose to and those just travling through. and to see what your finding of the past. Your so blessed to experience these areas in person. Ontario Canada
Awesome video Jim! That wild scenery is just amazing and looks untouched for the most part. Pretty cool that the good places have been the good places for generations. Must be humbling sitting at a camp with that history behind it. Thanks for sharing and taking us along with you! ❤
I had a really bad day yesterday. I friend of mine was murdered by her husband. I wanted to disappear. I saw the notification of this video. I got lost in it. As I’ve told you before, your Yukon adventures are among my favourites. Thanks for the escape. I bathed in it. ✌️❤

Awesome film and filmmaking. Thank you for sharing with an old man who just can't get out there like he used to. Blessings Jim to you and yours.
You’re very welcome
Another great day on the river!!!
That rock looks like a bald eagle 😯 from that first angle
Stunning shots, laffed very hard with what you daid to the eagle, even out on Closed Captions, to make sure😂!
Forgot to comment when I watched this last week. Love this series.
Nice work with the fly rod!
Some of the coolest geography in this video. The rock formations, the different colors of the river. Majestic.
Thanks for transporting me down that river....needed that! 👍😎🇨🇦🌊🔥🌲
You’re welcome!
Thanks!

That's why I love my mini pump/flashlight It weighs just a few ounces charge lasts for days and they are fairly cheap
BOOM fish! My type of fishing hole!

Nothing like a fresh caught fried fish!!
