"There will be a faith-based peasant come along sooner or later, but will it show up in time?" Am I watching a Rahdo Run Through or The Life of Brian? 😂 Man, I love Eurogame terminology!
Hi, Please turn on the Klingon subtitles like Rahdo asked at the start of the video... if you did you would've seen a Subtitle appear on the screen at that point explaining what was done incorrectly And you caught that one, there were a couple more goofs that since you didn't comment I'm guessing you didn't catch! So, when watching a video like this on this channel always turn on the Klingon subtitles so that you see on screen when goofs happen! If you don't know what the Klingon Subtitles are, here's a video from Rahdo explaining it :) th-cam.com/video/9ftIoVN7w8I/w-d-xo.htmlsi=TCZicvubgi-JaZ6J Cheers
Not a fan of the artwork (personal opinion), and I really like Happy City and this seems similar. Surprised it made it into your top 100 games of all time. Which one did you have to knock out to make this one fit? Or is it just a phrase?
I don't really understand what's the point in intentionally screw up your opponent's plans. Ok, sometimes it could be benefitial, but this whole runtrough felt like you are constantly focusing on eachother's plans, instead of your own (and even making suboptimal actions). I understand that you have to be efficient, but did a 10 minute game really worth this mental effort and the sour taste of this unnecesary conflict? Wouldn't it be more fun to just enjoy a 10 minute game by focusing on your engine and let the other player having a good time as well?
in a 2p game, every point i prevent you from getting is the equivalent of a point i score for myself. so a move that prevents you from getting 8 points is implicitly better than a move that earns me 5 points, and if you enjoy playing to peak effeciency, you make this into consideration. this phenomenon is only true for 2p gaming though. once you add a third player, it's no longer an issue and different dynamics come into play :)
I regret clicking this video. Now I want one. Cute artwork, all 78 cards uniquely drawn, multi use card, tableau building. *heavy breathing

@@rahdo Hey, that's cool. I will check out the link. Never heard of Warsaw: City of Ruins 🤣
it was called capital originally, and got renamed with a later reprinting :)
