I have noticed my favorite coffee beans don't taste as good, and have a very bitter taste after few months. So yes, doing a cleaning & descaling is highly recommended! I am always shocked at how dirty the water gets

Use vinegar and water mix. These descaling kits are a scam and rip off. Vinegar water will do the exactly the same thing but fraction of the cost.

@@TT-zt9xy you can do 1:1 ratio of vinegar and water, fill water reservoir with it. Run it through a few times then let the machine sit for a bit (around 30 mins) with the vinegar mixture in it, then run the rest through. Rinse out water reservoir with just water then fill it up with water, run the water through several cycles to rinse out any vinegar mixture leftover inside machine.
