- Putting the Apollo RFM through the paces riding it off road. Bike handled really well I was very impressed with the handling in the power on the bike one limiting factor is the controller so you change the controller and you’ll have yourself a real amazing bike.
Waiting for the Beta version! Cool machines these days!
Agreed I love these dirt E bikes. I’m so hooked it’s like a drug.
at 6:17 you think the only thing holding this bike back is the controller. I would tend to agree, except that everything I've looked at on the battery on mine (testing output and current) and from comments from EBMX on custom tune on their X-9000 for this bike, and I'm 99% certain that it is actually the LG 21700 choice of batteries they've made that is limiting this more...unfortunately.
You and I were talking on face book.
That’s crazy info about the battery.
Sorry for the audio glitches. I’m not to sure why the audio kept going out.
Cool video and thanks. Looking at the Beta version which I think is essentially the same bike. Curious where you were riding? Looks awesome...much like some of the Utah desert riding west of Salt Lake City....
Thanks for your message. Yeah the Beta is the same bike and your going to love it. I love the red on the beta. And now they got a whole bunch of upgrade parts like rims controllers and a bunch of other stuff.
I’m riding in the Las Vegas Desert.
It is sick out here. I ride right out my garage.
How would you change the controller , where would you get one ?
I’m from north wales 🏴 and we live in the hills . I’ve had a sur ron a few years ago and loved it . However I did think it was more like a toy/ bicycle than a motor x bike ( which I’ve had also in the past ) so thinking of this rfn? All my riding is off road with some serious trails/mud and steep climbs. Does the rfn feel bigger when on it than the sur Ron ? I’m 6.1 and felt the sur Ron although very capable a little small for me ?
Yes the RSN is definitely bigger than the Surron and heavier than the Surron, which isn’t a bad thing it’s just something to know.
And I think the RFN would be a great choice for off-road riding. There are a couple of things that you have to do to the RFM which like I said you gotta raise the handlebars because the front end it’s a little low and then you need to flash the controller or update your controller. I know there is a Facebook group that I belong to, and most of the RFN / beta owners Also belong to if you search for RFN in Facebook search you’ll find the group I’m referring to and you should join it. There is a wealth of information in there.
I know there is a bunch of places over by you that flash controllers. If you can’t find a place, I’ll look it up and find it and then I’ll let you know, but it should be pretty easy once you do a search from Facebook for the RFN.
It’s a great bike.
It looks like a wasteland, desert, mad max type stuff. I picked up an ultra bee last week. should arrive in a few weeks. already have a talaria mx4 and love it. right now I'm thinking new wheels and tires right off the get go.
The experts all say it’s all natural.
There all full of shit. This area, and All areas like this area are old mines.
There all piles of tailings.
Any miner will tell you the same thing.
But I totally agree with you it’s like a wasteland. But believe it or not there is life out there.
Plus I ride right out my back door.
