The gardens cultivated at Highgrove are nothing short of wondrous and exquisite. I have read that King Charles has been known to even talk to his plants. He is very connected and respectful toward the natural world. 🖤
I was fortunate to visit HIghgrove House gardens in 2022, I consider it a high point in my life. It was so beautiful (I visited in May) and I need to go back to see what I missed!!
@@tessdurberville711 Diana was very well educated and educated in music. If she could play pop tunes on piano, from her background (which is arguably more aristocratic than the royal family itself), she had an extensive classical piano education. Nobody teaches an excellent pianist just pop songs; part of the entire process of learning to be a good player of an instrument involves mastery of baroque, classical and romantic music.
I’ve visited 3 times now at different times. Always enjoyable but different each time. The last time I went they were also doing a flower arranging class which was really good fun. Followed by afternoon tea.
@deeshire8721 the royal family do not receive any money from us taxpayers pay for security, but that money goes to the police and also pays for government security etc
Pretty sure it was all misery for Diana from the beginning. Diana didn’t stand a chance against her husbands lies and his sneaky, manipulative mistress.
EXCELLENT VIDEO! 2:54- why does he need such a very large house? The amount of resources to maintain it is excessive. I assume a lot of water is used to maintain the gardens. . 3:19. Wonderful outfit for true gardening. Who’s he kidding?
people can wear what they like for gardening and you have no idea how the garden is watered and people are allowed to live in whatever size house they can afford
The film was done at Highgrove of Charles and Diana when the chldren were young, because their marriage was already failing, so it isn't real, it is a pose, a facade, not an accurate depiction of their real life, it was done for the public to 'see'..... and people talk about Harry and Meghan: Harry was just following what Diana actually wanted to do: leave royalty, go to the USA live here like a celebrity with her sons- he did the same thing and people bash them for it. Open your eyes: Diana wanted that SAME life here in America. Did she actually appreciate all those gorgeous paintings in those palaces? IF I was her, i would have been studying them for decades- staring at them in fascination. Seems like that didn't phase her - all that beauty.
Yes she wanted to leave the UK, possibly only six months of the year, after her divorce, it was her right. And yes I'm sure she did wonder in the beauty of the magnificent paintings etc. as she was aristocracy and grew up surrounded by many stunning and beautiful historical antiques which are part of the UKs heritage. 🙏❤
It probably didn't faze her because she lived in a house similar to that growing up... She had lived at Althorp and it was just as grand and had been in the Spencer family for 500-ish years. Compared to that, while Highgrove is gorgeous, it probably didn't shake her much because she had grown up in a similarly historical house.
@@patperrier4599She barely lived at Althorp. They moved there when she was 14. She was in boarding school until she was 16 and moved to the apartment her mother bought for her in Chelsea. By the time she was 19, she was living here and at Kensington, etc.
It is such a shame that Sparry wasn’t born a female. Prince Charles has Princess Anne and Prince George has Princess Charlotte but Prince William has that Sparry constantly competing and plotting against him. Such a shame.
Such a beautiful family. If only their walk were close to the Lord, infidelity wouldn't creep in. Knowledge of our purpose on this 🌎 is crucial. How cool! Hopefully I will get there in the next few years.
The monarchy needs to be overthrown and the wealth they stole returned to those they stole it from.
I greatly appreciate the King’s eye for beauty and his dedication to sustainability. Thanks for posting!
If he had an eye for beauty' and any ethics instead of being a brat, he would still be marrried ot Diana not an ugly bag.
Yes indeed! Thank you very much for your thoughtful comment!
The King has about 30 gardeners taking care of Highgrove gardens and water features.
It is His Majesty's great pleasure to attend to his garden himself - time and obligation permitting.
I believe it. I bet he rarely gets his hands dirty.
KCIII has always been an avid gardener. He is passionate about gardening. God bless him for it. 👑
@AlexandraWolf-qlfbi the head gardener leads a team of ten

Diana was also a lover of classical music and ballet. She played classical pieces on the piano.
Since when are Duran Duran and Elton John considered "classical"?
@@tessdurberville711but she did love ballet, and the music used and written for ballet.
Diana could like the modern pop music of the eighties AND classical music.

And there's an elegant basement, where Harry used to party. LOL. It's in his book. :) :) Lovely video. Enjoyed this.
Another great video. Highgrove house so fascinating. Thank you

I adored!! Thank you so very much- I appreciate you!
Thank you so much!! I appreciate your kind comment!!
The gardens are stunningly beautiful!❤️ I like to think King Charles enjoys the best dirt therapy!
I think that the late Robert Kime was responsible for the stunning interiors.
It certainly was not Diana!
This one commenter, sprinkling her hate and envy of Diana through the comment section.
Stay classy.
: )
Gorgeous. I loved this
Gorgeous gardens and cozy interiors. Carol from California
And Camilla lived 10mins down the road...beautiful home and gardens
Spectacular gardens. Had no idea King Charles was into gardening.
Yes! They truly are amazing!
Stunning 😮🎯👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤️
So, so beautiful.
You are a great reader! 🙏🏻
Thank you so very much!!
I distinctly remember the press saying he'd paid £80,000 for the house back in the day. Were they correct?
The house is owned by The Duchy of Cornwall and they bought it for £865.000
I'd like to try Malibu Night because I love coconut scents. Patchouli - not so much.
Harry gave all this up for Shiesty and Dorito.
this was never harry's house and its owned by The Duchy of Cornwall
Lovely ❤

Be careful what you wish for. Diana wanted to be Princess of Wales. She never thought beyond that.
You have no idea what Diana thought.
** The Hall at 4:20 is from Clarence House, in London, not from Highgrove. And the oter interior photos are not from Highgrove too... 🙄🫠
Lord help us.
I read Princess Diana never cared for Highgrove House, after their separation Charles spent most of his time with Camilla here.
The only reason he was there was to see camila who lived nearby while they were married.
Kamila i Čarls preljubnici😢
And diana had a lot of men at kensington palace. Ken High street knew all about it before the Press
Nice HOME
Is the house open to public ?

Why does video that was super clear back then look like this today??

Your money? Funded by the Duchy of Cornwall.
Poor Harry having to endure living here!
Diana was a fashion victim of her time. Most of her wardrobe was absolute shite, reflective of the fashion crudeness and clownish styles of the time.
Nothing new here. Just copied from elsewhere and used as an opportunity for an ad about perfume. A waste of my time and data.
