I can imagine the locations weren't that great. Lotta great messages in the movie, giving Hopper a chance, not caring if Jimmy plays, court is same size no matter where you play. 😎👍
Best sports movie ever. Aside from great performances by the stars the basketball players were terrific in their roles. Few lines but delivered so realistically.
Useless Trivia Alert.....David Neidorf was also in Bull Durham ( another very popular sports movie) as he gets sent down early on in the movie...also is in Platoon...

People loved the real life representations - of the times - which was captured well enough to touch the observers and delivered a touching story !
