- A butcherbird mother and father enjoying this afternoons warm Spring weather in Sydney with their offspring, while practicing some territorial calls. Plus as a special bonus I'm throwing in a curious lorikeet at the end.
Note that although one of the butcherbirds attempts to chase a noisy lorikeet away at .10, the lorikeets are really not intimidated very much at all.

Love butcher birds. My all time favourite Australian bird

What an amazing show! Birds are lovely creatures. Thank you for sharing.
It's like they come and perform for you! haha, I love our birds! :)
I hope when I die I come back as an Australian. You are the best people and have the weirdest animals. lol
I think USA has the Blue-Jay which is also an amazing bird.

Omg they are so cute 🥰
Beautiful...just beautiful...Love the song
Their song is lovely! Nice little birds! Great video, as always Nick!
We love this video! 💓🐦
Wow! Lovely birds!
Потрясающая природа вокруг🙂
I swear they're singing "baby shark" 🤣
I think they're the grey butcherbird because of their call. I get the pied butcherbird which has an even louder call. really beautiful to listen too though and great footage of all the birds. :-)
Yes I agree, the pied butcherbird has a black throat and breast
Nice!! Thanks for sharing!

Cheers from the gold coast.
whistling the tune of a song they'd like to hear?
Sweet!
I still think the greys have a better repertoire than the pied butchers, they sound quite plain in comparison.
