I have 9 parakeets of my own, Bernard, Coconut, Cleo, Avi, Spring, Ore, Minty, Melon and Nina. we used to have a bird named Merie. but she flew away. I know how you feel @Leotso. it is hard losing a pet that you loved very much. but God has a very special place in heaven for birdies, were He cares for them and loves them. HE hears every tear from your eyes and knows the pain that you have been through. he loves his birds very much. thank you Alan.
You do so much for your budgies. I’m sure that they are so happy that you found them. I knew nothing about parakeets and one day my neighbor found my Harlo. He was abandoned and it was raining that day. We decided I should keep him and that was 2 1/2 years ago. I’ve been in love with my Harlo ever since. Birds can teach humans so much about patience and empathy.

Sometimes I get jealous of how you get to tame these cuties so easily. I understand it requires patience but I was never able to do that with my budgies
I feel the same. I've had my 2 for 4 years. They are so loved and cherished but I have not had the fortune of being able to handle and touch them. I know they love me by their antics and I do spoil then but touching them is a "no" between them and myself. I've continued to try but it has always been "no" from them. So... I do truly enjoy Alen and the relationship he has with his flock. He has something very special with these cuties.♥️🐦🐦♥️

This is so much like the story of my Bluie, a beautiful turquoise budgie my neighbors found on their driveway. We don’t know where he came from but he became an inseparable part of the family. I worried someone out there might be heartbroken over a beloved bird that had accidentally escaped but no one came forward. That being the case l would want that person to know Bluie is safe and well cared for.

Mine own is full at belly and colorful at cloika...I made nest box quickly..not sure but safe...she checked. Good appetite with fruits, veggies, meat and grains very tiny..but, My God..I didn't expect this?!

Hey, I have had a female budgie for 6 months, 2 months ago I replaced another female budgie which I didn't realise it was female until she got old. Now this female budgie doesn't get along with the male, she is too attached to me, whenever I walk across the cage she jumps on to me. This makes the male budgie feel lonely as they don't even have any interaction for ages. What to do? please suggest me something.

Hey. My bird Is not eating and chirping or moving, she is just sitting, sometimes she sits in the bottom of the cage. Do you know what it means?? I'm scared if she dies, my mom said it might be pregnant but I don't think so. It's been only 3 years since I got them her, her nose is white. She isn't ready to be pregnant I think. It looks like she was more fat then before, which makes me think she is pregnant but because of nose I don't think so. I'm scared, she isn't flying :( it happened today as she was eating but I think she chocked or something, she was doing the feeding emote (The move that she is about to feed someone like, move her head up and down) every single minute. And when she shaked her head and something hit me in my hip, I think it was the food. She was eating something even tho there was nothing in her mouth. When I told my mom and as she came in my bird stopped doing those and then a minute later she started acting strange 😢😭 pls help if you know!!

One of Our budgie’s flew away on 1/1/24 we kept his house on the porch for 2 long cold days and nights and searched the neighborhood and trees with no luck, before my son decided to bring the bird house inside Tonight . I’d hoped that it would return to us. Our other budgie doesn’t even chirp anymore. 😢 we planned on buying another to keep him company but I’m not sure if we should. We really just want our other bird to come home so bad. His name is Terri Cloud. 🥹 he was fun and full of life.
