Yo creería que funcionaría un poco mejor con un núcleo laminado en vez de uno de ferrita, pues los núcleos de ferrita tienen muy buen desempeño, pero en altas frecuencias (por ejemplo el de ese flyback funciona a los 15 khz); mientras que los laminados funcionan mejor en bajas freciencias (por debajo de los 5 khz que está en el rango de frecuencias de los generadores convencionales)

You might not know this, but there exists such a thing as a transformer, which allows you to transform voltage and amperage into another voltage and amperage.
It only works on AC current so I like the little motor

There's one big mistake you made here. You are using a ferrite for your magnetic core. You should be using a laminated steel instead. Ferrite cores are used for high frequencies.
joyange1 Laminated Steal cores are cheaper hence why they are more common. How ferrite core comes from a TV fly back transformer which is more common for diy scrappers.

Michael K. Hobbs um, you don’t know the truth. Free energy is a sham and there is coin battery’s hidden. Perpetual motion is impossible and using magnets to spin a motor doesn’t generate more energy than needed to make it go. Most of this stuff is completely useless aswell.

LordOfNihil Not really. If you step it down for more current then it'll be useless because the voltage is already 0.4v, so the output will have pretty much no voltage. And if you step it up then you might as well just use a battery. :/

@@xfcisco no, the power there is very low under 10 watts its barely enough to melt foam, the magnets feilds intersect the core which carries the magnetic flux into the coil this is a basic generator.... Its a physically sound setup, the motor is used and previously had wires soldered to it, the alligator clip nearly contacted a copper strand protruding from the solder joint on the motor contact before he released his finger and allowed the clip to hold the contact. If you have ever Actualy used alligator clips for anything in you life you would be aware of that condition when connecting alligator clips.... Btw the core is a ferrite type that is half of the core from a tube tv fly back transformer....go build your own transformer/generator... Just a simple electromagnetic experiment probly fround in a text book somewhere...

Nothing fake here, the sound sync was a little off so you hear the motor before it turns, but OK demonstration of a motor/generator perhaps. The project is not practical for anything unfortunately because it is REALLY inefficient. I really loved the several minutes of detail about how to use Superglue though..

This is DC motor. Transformer turns all the energy into heat so its 0% effective when using DC power. There is no such thing as less than 0% effective ;-) Use transformer for no efficiency would be correct comment then...

Actually, it's called a motor-generator(MG) set. Cray would use these to power their supercomputers back in the 70' and 80's. They where also use in dynamotors for powering vacuum tube electronics by stepping up the low voltages found in car or aircraft electrical systems to high voltages for the tubes to operate.
