I’m with you regarding manual cars. I believe that everybody should be tested in a manual car in order to attain their driver’s license. I own a 2012 manual E92 M3 Coupe (Competition Package) with the S65 4.0L V8. Edit : Not quite as powerful as yours Alex (lol) but after replacing the plastic throttle actuators with metal upgrades, it’s an awesome engine and sounds the business heading towards redline.

@@DrivenbyAlex yeah, problem with that is I’m 29, I turn 30 next year, I have a woman & two kids, I’m going to have to buy the base model of the stingray cash as I’ve made my mind up on the C7 unless my woman will let me Drop a down payment for the Z06 bc the problem is she wants a new suv or truck and really needs one, by the time I get done paying her truck suv off in 5 years, I’d be 35-36 years old, times not waiting on me either lol and we have two kids but if I can talk her into it I’d wait but I know a woman that got the base model, ordered the OEM Z06 body & had a shop install the body and from research I’ve done, the Z06 & the stingray carry the same engine block

@@DrivenbyAlex I had a Camaro SS With the 6sp and and got 28 mpg on highway which a lot of people couldn't believe. When I said daily I should've been more specific, I meant with the aftermarket cam. I'm about to get one myself and would only drive occasionally and to family on Pa turnpike about a 300 mile trip occasionally. I wish I would've put PPF on my Cadillac, no matter how hard you try to resist paint chips it still happens! Thanks for the reply

I love the C6 and C7 gen. C6 Z06 was the last of the LS7 motor. Only downside is that the engine sound like the GM trucks which often shared the architecture of those old LS engines. They sound great but i cant help think i hear a GM flatbed truck every time i hear one on idle

The closest thing to a 4 door sedan Corvette is the Cadillac ctsv 6spd manual and Chevy SS 6spd manual. Both have LS engines Making more than 400hp.

Drop a down payment for the Z06 bc the problem is she wants a new suv or truck and really needs one, by the time I get done paying her truck suv off in 5 years, I’d be 35-36 years old, times not waiting on me either lol and we have two kids but if I can talk her into it I’d wait but I know a woman that got the base model, ordered the OEM Z06 body & had a shop install the body and from research I’ve done, the Z06 & the stingray carry the same engine block

The 6th gear is an Amazing highway benefit, as the car is at 2000 rpm at 90 mph 😆
@@DrivenbyAlex I had a Camaro SS With the 6sp and and got 28 mpg on highway which a lot of people couldn't believe. When I said daily I should've been more specific, I meant with the aftermarket cam. I'm about to get one myself and would only drive occasionally and to family on Pa turnpike about a 300 mile trip occasionally. I wish I would've put PPF on my Cadillac, no matter how hard you try to resist paint chips it still happens! Thanks for the reply

I love the C6 and C7 gen. C6 Z06 was the last of the LS7 motor. Only downside is that the engine sound like the GM trucks which often shared the architecture of those old LS engines. They sound great but i cant help think i hear a GM flatbed truck every time i hear one on idle
