Started out as a team member and moved up to senor sales and then moved up to supervisor but i moved back down to senor sales because they were taking a piss making me work in other shops to help out. Im all good for helping out other shops once in a while but to do it every week? no thanks. If you have a great manager you gonna have great colleagues if you have a lazy manager you gonna have lazy colleagues simple as that. Greggs is always understaffed and have to deal with bigger shop with sit ins and bigger menu nowadays compared to just takeaway shops back then. And the most annoying of all JUST EAT. They expect you to always have that thing on 100 percent at a time even though you are heavily understaffed. One sick call and the whole shop becomes a mess. And you get ALOT of sick calls. I was lucky to have a great manager when i got hired for the first 5 years it really made up for being understaffed all the time which is why i was able to stay there for years. But once she left we got a lazy manager from another shop and boy everybody else became lazy after that. Went from having 19 staff to having only 8 in less than a year. Anyways I learnt alot of skills during my time there and became more and more confident. Its definitely a physical job and you have to be on the move all the time. You'd be lucky to get a break during mornings in busier shops. 50% discount is always good well 30-50% discount atleast. If its not greggs branded you dont get the full 50%. Plus their meal deals arent 50% off neither. So the sandwhich and drink is the 3.50 deal but if you use discount it adds up the actual full price of the two items and then take 50% off lmao. So you not getting half of 3.50. You getting half of £5 LOL
