I love the skin tones of the Sony ZV-E1, it looks just more cinematic. I see too yellowish the S9 and skin tones with less details. FX30 is in the middle, but not at the level of ZV-E1. Just my opinion, don't take it too seriously :) Cheers!
Nice test all 3 looked good. Zve1 is simplest to use imo, touch screen and my menu keeps it simple. Love all 3 of these cameras though. S9 autofocus is much better than people think! It hung right in there against 2 top Sony cameras
If I had to choose between Zve1 and s9 I’d choose Zve1 BUT that may be my personal bias coming through. The s9 would be a no brainer if I was invested in panny ecosystem
Banding is still there on the S9. That sensor has a super slow readout. Sony’s look much better to my eye. Also, you may want to add the camera model names to the title so it gets recommended more by YT.
I"m going to see if I can adjust some settings to get the banding corrected . IDK if it will the banding alone disqualifies the camera for me, but it is concerning....good call on the title
Those were my thoughts. I think the crop with stab on high is 1.4X which essentially makes it an APS-C sensor. Same with the ZV-E1, which is why I saved my money and went with the A6700...for now.
@@hasenmyer I agree. I haven't used it much yet though. Maybe once I get this last action cam video done I can make some content with it. I really want to do a vlog and add a touch of stab in catalyst. I have yet to figure out how to do that with S-Log3 properly since I think Catalyst Browse won't export in 10-bit. I guess I could color grade first?
@ I don’t know if CB can do 10bit..maybe it can but I haven’t used in forever..I’d rather have shaky footage than deal with CB. Peter Gregg uses a program called gyroflo that he seems to like, but IDK

s9 for the win!
It's funny everyone sees everything so different. A previous commenter liked the FX30, you liked the s9 and I like the zve1...thanks for watching

zv e1 was too dark, the s9 too light, and the fx30 was just right. Overall, the fx30 was all around the best looking in every respect.
LOL I can never get it right..I think your right though fx30 for the W
