Thanks for the rainy days videos. Found this on Wikipedia "Xylocarpus granatum, commonly known as the cannonball mangrove, cedar mangrove,[2] or puzzlenut tree,[3] is a species of mangrove in the mahogany family (Meliaceae)."
I visited Australia many times when I was at sea and spent a couple of months going around the coast. I wanted to "jump ship" sometimes, especially when I met a beautiful young American Indian girl in Melbourne. It was touch and go but a mate talked me out of it, the b*****d! Instead I left the sea life and didn't miss it, thankfully. Enjoy the vids and have done since the narrow boat days.
Hi Crickshaw. The bread was delicious. Quite surprising really given my ridiculous track record with baking bread. When I first met Magnus his dog, a German Shepherd, refused my 'rock' bread and chewed on a brick instead! Seriously. W.
At 13:20.... “that looks better... it’s a bit dryer!” LOL still soaking wet through! I have to say that was a lot of rain but I would rather be out in that, than stuck at home inside😁 Really nice to see you guys and Nutshell out on the ocean again! All the best Richard
Definitely call it something different down Under but the plug for the boat there is one you can get that as a one-way valve to drain the water I believe you can order it on Amazon I would highly suggest to get one of those
Hi Tammy. It tasted amazing. We've just bought the Lekue and it's been great for baking bread. The general idea is that it reduces water usage because you can mix in it and bake in it too, which is an important feature when you are living on a boat with limited water. We weren't sure if it would work well, but so far its been fabulous! W.
Nice. Well that's more rain than I've seen here in a while LOL. But we get a crap ton of rain so I'm used to that kind of weather. Ah your narrow boat party made it to Amazon Video FYI saw you guys on someone elses videos on Amazon last week.
@@LifeinaNutshell Sorry Im a bit late on the reply back to you guys But I think its in episode 7 www.amazon.com/Travels-by-Narrowboat/dp/B07NXQG5HB Theres the link for you guys. You should consider putting in a sump pump into your run about for rainy days like that.
Hi David and Tammy. Thanks for your lovely comment. It felt amazing to be out on the water and even though we had rainy day after rainy day, it didn't really matter as we were able to be out there. I'm so glad that we can share our trips with everyone. Thanks. W.
Very nice watching your videos...but I reserve a special place in my heart for your narrowboat journeys. Do you think you'll ever come back to travel on the cut?

Hi Mark. Thanks for the information. It's very interesting. The 'fruits' were spectacular! W.
You might try putting the drain plug in the inside. No risk of losing it and much easier to drain the boat while underway.
Hi. Good idea. Thanks for watching. W.
Stay dry and safe. Awesome as always.
Thanks Craig. What a lovely comment. W.
Weather reminds me of Suffolk summertime

Thanks for the info Andrew. We'll look into it. W.
Nice looking bread there. We turned into Hunt Channel just as a hump back was heading out. We gave way to the bigger force than us.
Hi Phil. That must have been amazing! W.
Great Video, and the sound track was perfect.
Thanks Gary. W.
Ahhh Queensland, not always sunshine and sea breezes, at least you didn't run out of fresh water.
Hi Gary. There definitely wasn't a shortage of fresh water! Thanks for watching. W.

Great relaxing video (sort of) and beautiful nature.
Hi Dan. The scenery is stunning. It's lovely to be able to share these places with everyone. Thanks for watching. W.
Good video agains guys. BTW I want a t-shirt with the little nut and leaf sail... Are you planning on those as merch?
Hi Mark. I’ll look into it. W.
You're living the dream!
Wet or not, we would rather be sailing with y'all instead of just sitting home. Love the videos, David and Tammy from Florida.

Hi Yvonne. Yes, absolutely. We haven’t finished so we will return. Thanks for watching. W.
There's a typo there. it should be the Whetsundays. A formal introduction to your sailing companion is needed I think? Bread looked fab.
Hi Deluk. Simone is a dear friend of ours and she came onboard for a sailing holiday. W.
Great to see u back on the water. Great video!! What a great bread oven, where can I get one.?Cheers n beers. 🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷
It’s called a Lekue.
Peter's of Kensington, according to my wife.
Who is your new boat mate?
Hi Raymond. She's Simone. She spent a couple of weeks with us sailing. W.
The whole worlds going to hell in a hand basket but the wilderness and hanging fruit care not one jot😊👍
.....its like jurrasic park...
It did feel a bit like that. Nature is amazing. W.
