My battery is new and green ball was showing when I purchased but at servicing, service guy over filled the water and since then this green indicator is gone. Although not facing any issues but this green indicator not showing up even after few long drives. I sometimes listen songs too without turning my engine on.

Hello sir. I ordered an Amaron battery online and when it arrived the box containing the battery was wet. May I know on the left side of ths battery what should I fill it with?
Shows Black color.. Battery is charging but within 24 hrs it drains completely. What problem? Do i need to fill distilled water
I bought a new amaron m42 efb (50b20l) battery and it arrived with some liquid spilled. In this case should I refill the battery with distilled water? The indicator is still showing greenish. Thanks for your help brother.

Bro my car had been parked for 1month and battery level has dropped to 11.29v. I have plugged it with charger of 1.5a output. It has been 24 hrs and battery level has reached only 12.01v. I have not added distilled water before charging.
How much voltage should I charge?
Do I need to fill distilled water?
If battery water is sufficient and green indicator is showing no need to fill more water otherwise during charging it will spill out. Charging current is less i think . My battery draws around 3 to 4A while charging and gradually decreases. Suppose you have battery current rating of 35AH you should charge it atleast at 3.5A .

Ok fill some distilled water and keep open the lids now put the battery again in charge for some time and check. it should turn into green.

Basically he is trying to explain how the indicator of the battery works. The indicator showing green means battery is Ok, and no refills (distilled water) required. Inside the indicator there's a small green ball that floats to indicate battery is fine. In case the indicator shows silver/clear means battery needs charging or refill of distilled water. In this situation, the indicator's green ball does not float to the required level hence showing silver/clear. Once the battery is charged or refilled with distilled water, the green ball floats and the indicator shows green meaning battery is ok now. Hope this helps.

It's because specific gravity of liquid solution inside battery has changed. It happens if the battery kept discharged for some days or it was not getting charged properly. The layer of sulphate build ups on the plates that causes lesser charge storage and the indicator turns out white.. I think first you should check the voltage by multimeter if it's showing 12.7 or up then no need to worry much.

So, how to increase the specific gravity??
If your battery backup is good then no need to worry because regular charging and discharging will maintain the sulphuric acid. But if battery back up is not good then one thing you can do is to connect the battery to a charger where current can be controlled to few hundred mA range. You need to charge the battery for 2-3 days with few hundred mA current. Then disconnect from charger and wait for 15 minutes. Then use the battery ..it's backup should increase. But keep in mind that this continues charging makes toxic gases and acid - water mixture may come out.. so you have to keep the lid partially open to release the gases.. and also you have to wear PPE when you ho nearby battery. Be safe

Charging is not happening beyond 12.04v. it's charging from 10 v to 12.04v after that it will be constant..should I replace my battery ? What should be the minimum voltage to start a car ?
Your battery voltage is below what it should be to start a car.
It may start car once or twice but not useful for long time. Get it checked by some battery expert before buying new.
