Everyone has their happy place in life where they can go to and clear their heads. Mine happens to be at a stream out in the woods next to a waterfall that very few people even know it exists. When life drags me down I try to drag my ass through the woods and I can spend hours just sitting there listening to the water as it cascades over the waterfall. It's about a 40 minute hike and fortunately there is no trail that goes to it, otherwise I know that it would be ruined with litter from people that can't respect the absolute beauty that nature beholds. There's been 2 occasions where I've fallen asleep next to the waterfall only to wake up in the middle of the night and 1 time I didn't have anything to illuminate my way back. Hope your stay at your cousins has helped you mentally, as the waterfall spot of mine does for me.✌🏼

@@SharingTheWild I grew up being a pool rat, so love swimming. Unfortunately, I live in the middle of the Nevada desert. Not a lot of deep, clean or clear water in an area like mine. Might be why I enjoy seeing your adventures actually haha.
Joseph, you know what would be fun?… a casual lake cleanup series. You do a circuit of lakes for summer travel and just do your thing ❤. Eventually you could plan events for people to help out. Just an idea… cause it seems in alignment with your values. ☮️👍

Joe I used to love diving along the beaches and do a clean up of the shores when I was able to get out there. You looked in your element in the water. Great video today it was cool to see the under water life in the lake, shows it is a healthy lake, even more so now. I like your swimming and diving videos, I am used to the water, living by the Gulf of Mexico. I like to watch surfing too since my son surfs and asks me to film him. I like to see the different sea creatures you have compared to the waters near me.
That's awesome, I'm glad you like them. One of these days I'll make a trip down that way and do some diving in the gulf. I've got a friend who own's a shop down there and I keep meaning to set something up. I also thought about doing a USA road trip, but I'm not very confident in making a full blown trip with my van, it's an old girl now and I'd hate to be in for a major repair without the proper resources.
@@SharingTheWild I understand thinking about your vehicle, I have to do the same. The perfect time to come see the Northern Gulf Coast is in October thru March, starting in November the water temp drops to the 61F to 66F (16C to 20C) and you will need a wetsuit, that should be no big deal to you. Our weather is nice too in winter. Up here in North Florida it is more artificial reefs, no natural reefs. You might have researched that information on your own, just letting you know
