Thank you for sharing Joseph. The diving spear fishing and topography was excellent! Please don’t feel that your video is too long-it isn’t! It’s perfect! Looking forward to seeing more! Onward and upward! 👍🏽😊
This grandma in Oregon loves your channel. Thank you for taking us on your adventures and also sharing your life experiences. Your daughter is a sweetheart. It warms my heart that you are involved with her as much as you can be considering the distance. She knows that you care for her. Kids are resilient and smart. Thank goodness for technology and being able to video chat. One of my granddaughters (she's 6) lives in Colombia and we've never met but we video chat a few times a month. Seeing her happy face makes me happy and I can see the happiness in your face when you talk with your little girl. So even though you both are so very far away from each other just know that every single video chat is meaningful for her (and you). ❤
Joseph so happy to see you doing what you love and then getting to enjoy your catch. That curry looked amazing and seeing your sweet daughter was icing on the cake 🥰
That was awesome Joseph. Thank you for sharing a world we don’t get to see and your process. So happy you are enjoying yourself. Thanks to your friend too for wearing the camera.
Good to see you, young man❤🎉 that must have been a bit of a start to look down into the eyes of a sealion, at your knees!!!! WOW!!! I think I would have had a heart attack....lol!!!❤ Dinner looks yummy!!!! Safe and happy travels ❤😊
Hey Joseph it's good to see you back we always enjoy watching your vlogs. I use to free dive about 50 years ago in my mid twentys along the Southern California coastline and Baja California coastlines back in the 70's & 80's. Quick question I see a lot of Urchins I love Uni 😋. Always great Videography especially the underwater footage and commentaries. Joseph Stay Safe, Stay Healthy and most of all can't wait for your next videos. Oh Yeah when is your cookbook coming out 🤔
Thanks man. Yeah you are seeing urchins and there are a lot of them. I've been eating them on my outings just about every time but only one or two. Sometimes they're awful and sometimes they're great. I'll try share a bit about them in one of my videos once I learn a bit more about them and their season.
Love the diving. I don't know what it is (I've never been a diver, just love the water) but your underwater footage (where you can hear the bubbling and muted sounds) feel like home to me. It has my whole life. Being underwater feels like where I'm supposed to be. It's so odd. So, I obviously am LOVING the direction your channel has taken. I've learned so much from them already. I bet that fresh caught fish thai red curry was AMAZING!
I am glad that you had your trip this year, although it was a bit rough. It is good to do things purposefully and address situations. You can now live your life without as much weighing you down and occupying all of your time. Time to live and recharge.
Hi Joseph so nice to see you. What an exciting day for you. Dinner looked yummy. Daughter looks like she has grown up some. 😊 Losing some teeth maybe? So cute.
I got an old minivan to start working on to first stay when I work back to back night shifts as I am living with my parents to help care for them. After I’m no longer needed I will go full time. I will use some of your videos as I work on it. I have zero skills but I know your videos will offer fabulous insight as I stumble along. 😁 The curry dish looks AMAZING!!
Great video! I'm not a fan of fish, but that curry dish looked so good. Hope you're doing better, man. Keep that chin up high things will work out for you. Take care of yourself
The use of sound to catch fish, primarily through technology like fish finders, developed significantly during the mid-20th century, with early experimentation by commercial fishermen using sonar technology initially developed for military purposes, particularly during World War II, where advancements in sonar allowed them to locate fish schools more effectively; companies like Lowrance later popularized the "fish finder" for recreational anglers with portable sonar devices, leading to increasingly sophisticated technology with better imaging capabilities and detailed fish detection features today. Joseph is using the same technique..just on a lower scale
Great video mate 👍 If you're ever free diving in Australia, please don't gut any fish while you are still in the water 🙏 Rather have a buoy, with a long cord that you can thread the fish onto, that'll sit 10 to 15 mtrs behind you. That way any Noah's in the area will hopefully take your fish and not you 🙏🦈🦈🇦🇺
Hey Daniel, I love the thumbnail with the 4 quadrants telling you, what will be in the video? That is very cool.I think you could still just have a generic video title across the middle.Because the picture is kind of tell a story but very cool.Never seen that in a decade of watching Van lifers. That's definitely new and very cool and your thing innovative
Thanks brother. Yeah no buoy in this spot. We were close enough to shore not to woory about boat traffic and the area doesn't see much boat traffic anyway. We did see the one boat and felt pretty safe as we stuck close to the kelp beds anyway.
I just put them back into the van and hadn't started up a jar yet. I was also just about to do a fast and didn't want to have one on the go, but it's definitely going to be apart of my diet throughout the colder months. Summer is also too hot to grow them in the van, so that's another reason why they're back in here now.
Nice video! I am interested in the songs and artists, I did see the credit and link for the service where you got the songs. But can you include a credit for the artists and songs in the video?
Thanks brother, many years of hard work and fumbling around mostly. It's journey to be sure and by the looks of it your already on your own way. just had a look at a couple of your videos - super cool man.

Much appreciated man. Thank you.
Great video!!
Such a nice video, fish looked good.
Well, that’s a first, never heard of anyone doing a, “fish call.”

Cool, love it
Beauty dives ! 💦👏🤙
Nice video! Peace & Love
I really like that song too really reminds me of Eminem.
Could’ve been worse then a sea lion in the Caribbean you can actually attract nurse sharks 💜
Great video mate 👍

Great vid Joseph! I didn't notice a dive buoy/flag. No concern about boats?
Thanks brother. Yeah no buoy in this spot. We were close enough to shore not to woory about boat traffic and the area doesn't see much boat traffic anyway. We did see the one boat and felt pretty safe as we stuck close to the kelp beds anyway.
👍👍👍👍👍
Dude!
What’s the deal with the sprouting jars always being empty? 😅
I just put them back into the van and hadn't started up a jar yet. I was also just about to do a fast and didn't want to have one on the go, but it's definitely going to be apart of my diet throughout the colder months. Yeah I guess I should have included that this time. It was by iso indies and it was called self love.
@SharingTheWild Nice selection. Thanks for your great videos.
R u ok? Just checking in on u
