  • Learn how to play craps with BOTH Come Bets and Place Bets. They’re both excellent ways to win at craps, neither of them is more advanced or simplistic than the other. In fact, they’re very complimentary.
Both can win. Both can lose. It’s really about which way to play better matches the rhythm of the table you happen to be at, at the time you happen to be playing.
Make sure and keep both of these in your arsenal.

Come betting is slow and steady.......and has a built in hedge when the 7 comes (a rebate)....IMO, Place betting across is for the Action junkies.....Different betting styles for different personalities....
In my 30 years of gambling experience, Place bet + max odds, Come bet with max odds has given me the best results

Your rhythm idea is responsive to the flow of numbers. Your flexibility with both Place and Come tools as appropriate is excellent.

Hey John you always do the best analysis. I've learned to think differently on the crap table especially with rhythm and timing along with good rack management. Much appreciated Dan

If you just want to watch someone huck the dice around and bullshit with you during the roll … that’s not my style. Once in a while, sure. But I like to dig in a little deeper.
Love it or hate it, that’s my way
Appreciate you watching and taking the time to let me know your thoughts.

Rhythm and trends seem to outweigh the math. PSO's come when they want not when they are supposed to!
I like using a DC, then place bets across and a come bet. Come bet moves and replaces the place bet. Use the place bet and winnings for come bet max odds. So both place bets and come bets used at the same time.
Sometime just use a big DC that covers all the place bets and press and collect the place bets as we go. if the 7 hits we win the DC but lose the place bets. Hopefully not getting the DC knocked off hitting several place bets before the 7 out.
or just get a big dc and use come bets by themselves and lay odds from winnings.
I must have commented before. You mentioned "Stone we are not doing DCs on this video!! lol.
My system has been successful lately. I have been doing 200 to 300 DC and 25 to 50 dollar place bets with 15 dollar come bets with max odds. Long rolls may knock off the DC unless you hedge with a hard way and it doesn't come easy. so just keep going and hit them come bets with max odds that comes from the place bet winnings.
Do you see any adjustments that I could use? I use both come and place bets with each other. My DC covers the initial action on place and come bets. Of course I hedge my DC with YOs on the come out and hard ways if the DC is a 4,6,8 or 10.
It's a lot of action going on on the table at once. I buy in for 500 usually and before you know it I'll have 700 or more in action on the table and a full bankroll still in my rack. Then 7 out and I somehow end up with a 100 dollar profit! It seems simple but dealers say I am all over the place. It gets busy so I try to tip very often.
Love your videos. Learning a lot from them in the last couple months. I'm up 2 grand at the moment from studying your videos and others that you have mentioned on here. Digging the Craps community thing that's going on. It's a good thing my nearest casino is 175 miles from me or I would be there everyday. Bad thing is I travel for work and Arkansas is my territory and there are several casinos along my sales routes!! lol. But I am winning now and funding my travel through craps profits. Thanks to you and others sharing their insights on this game.

I don't hedge the DC or DP with the Yo ... I win enough on the aces and ace-deuce to make up for any 11 losses.
Try to lay the point for 1 roll while you're in the DC. An instant repeat will get you, bu by and large, you get that DC through nice and clean.

@@ProCraps I want my DC to be 100 to 300 dollars. How much would the lay bet be on the point established?
Seems as though no protection for the DC come out is the best strategy in the long run. I just like that opportunity at that time to bet a 25 to 50 dollar yo. But out of maybe 15 to 20 come outs I usually only hit that yo at that time 2 or 3 times.
Ok I investigated the lay bet. I would have to lay 200-600 to cover my DC That's a huge risk. May not be a good idea for a low roller like myself. 25 on the yo will make more sense even though it's a 25 dollar loss to get my DC out there. 50 dollar yo is going to pay pretty good. Lay bet with a low DP or DC would be ok but a bigger DC bet just puts too much money at risk and only pays half But at least I understand the lay bet now. Probably best to not hedge the DC but I will with the yo on occasion. and maybe with a any 7 as well so both the 7 and 11 are defended against. Hey thanks for responding.

@@stonewallmcgraw3307 I wouldn't worry about the 11 at all. I would lay on the point for 3x your DC bet if you can. So a $100 DC earns a $300 lay. That way a 7 not only protects that $100 but you can rack a bit on it too. It's aggressive, but to me, any money that goes on the table is there there to win me something, not just hedge

I'm not a "roll it out" guy ... most of my shows are more lecture-based, where I'm trying to teach concepts and dig into the math a bit more than almost everyone else does. There's room for both styles for sure. I go live for about an hour every day on the CGTV channel, and we do a good mix of explanation and rolls to support/refute things. But yeah, if you want someone to roll out the next big thing, that's definitely not me.
Thanks for taking the time to reach out. Always good for me to see how everyone receives the content!
