The lightning nerf was inevitable. They were probably starting to one shot rage gigas with where the breeding was getting to. They can also get to 2.7k or 4.7k melee with maxed out breeding and levels (I forget which, but much higher than 1K) so yeah they will be one tap player kill monsters again pretty soon.
U should show off the lightning wyvern a lil more no one really has a 1k damage one people tend to go for 20k+ hp 2.5k stam and 700+ about that depends on how good thare wyvs are so it would be nice to see more into it
People haven't calculated it all out then. Apparently using wyverns like oversized PTs with a breath attack.... Hint: Endgame bred lightning wyverns with some levels in melee will have DPS output nearly that of a maxed out bred giga, and rage gigas with one breath.
don‘t agree with the netguns can trap lightning wyvern part, since netguns are too op anyway idk why you should buff them lol. u can hardly use any mount bcuz of them.
With the current state of the game being based around tek suits etc its only fair that a balance came to allow high grade tek armour to be balanced against dinos in pvp, lightning wyvern would insta kill a cap tek suiter, with little to no way of taking down the wyvern without almost guaranteeing youd die, so its good in a way

As it is now with net guns, tek suits, and lightning needing several seconds to kill a tek suiter with good HP, tek suits will win every single time now.
It needs help but on itself it is already a good Dino. The problem is that it can't hit properly to picked players, and that it can't defend himself from gigas and wyvern. Other than that, it is a solid Dino able to outplay reapers, spinos, Manas and more. Even some fliers like pt or griff
I killed all alpha bosses on the island including the alpha overseer without boosted stats. The shadowmanes hat a ton of mutations though and were fully imprinted. They all had like 40k HP and 2k melee. I had no problem doing them even though me and my tribemate messed a few things up. Idk how well this would work on official because they all were between 500 - 540

@@suprsham7838 Even with officiall loot quality settings you can get saddles over 150 on gen 2. The lootcrates can be crazy and I didn't use a lioplerodon. Now imagine a server that doesn't have crazy settings and is just on 2x. It is really not hard to reach official cap on normal settings if you just know how and with craftingskill. Gen 2 lootcrates are just one way. Purple OSDs are another. I recently got a tek rifle BP 1% on under official cap on official loot settings and I am gonna boost that with craftingskill to go way above official cap. I haven't crafted it yet because I plan on leveling to 155 or 170 maybe even 180 before I craft it though collecting all explorernotes would propably suck so I think I'll leave it at 170. Still That is close to 1800% crafting skill. And I got that BP after only farming for short while so I could propably even get a BP over official cap. Again official cap isn't high and can easily be reached without boosted settings which is why the shadowmane nerf sucks on unofficial.
Ember wyv does extra damage the longer you use its special attack. It had like a rage meter similar to gigas, the longer you use special attack more dmg you do. Problem is that it has to be non stop pretty much. As in.... enemy tame can't be moving
@@gdbve3r It could be moving, it's just that you had to spam the breath like 8+ times in a row, which takes a lot of stamina, and stamina is at a premium on fliers that already need health/melee pumped.

The previous armor cap was 124 on both official and unofficial for shadowmanes. It will be the same 80 on both here aswell.
