I bought this guitar and it is a keeper. It is all solid woods and sounds awesome without engaging any effects. The effects are anything except a gimmick. I'm a natural skeptic, but no complaints on this guitar. I lowered the saddle on mine quite a bit...preference. My goal is easy to chord without any buzz when getting into it a little. If this doesn't sound as good as other brands costing twice as much, birds don't fly. A brand snob for 30 years has found the error of his mind-set.
What is the battery life like on these when using the pickup option? Is there a low battery indicator or do you just use it until it doesn’t work anymore? Also, any worries using a humidifier on this guitar with the electronic board inside the guitar?
Are y'all using the 80/20 strings it comes with or did you change them? If so, what strings are you using? Also, glad to see an Aston microphone. I love my Spirit.
The guitar is amazing, tryied many Martins D-28s, Gibson Sjs and nothing caught me like this one!!! Anybody having it knows if knobs are suposed to light up?
I have this guitar but why didn't hey put a light at the control to show you when it's on. I found this very bad and easy to forget to turn it off. You need this light.
Played one of these today. It's not an led on the switch, but if you look inside when the system is on there's a green led lit up and it's off when the system is.....
The TransAcoustics come with 12-53 Yamaha treated strings. They aren't for sale separately, but they are pretty close to Elixir strings in terms of sound and feel.
the FGTA is okay, def a bit more resonant top thanks to the scalloped X bracing, vs the llta with the non scalloped x bracing. But the note separation isn't as great or as clear

I am sure that this will be on lots of guitars in the future. Brilliant technology. But for now I´ll keep using my TonewoodAmp :-)
pro tip: watch movies on flixzone. Been using them for watching lots of of movies recently.
@Gavin Decker Yup, I have been using flixzone for years myself :)

Did they use a speaker to achieve this?
no it is a acuator picks up vibration from strings and modifys to get the effects

Do these require any special strings ?
