My dad used to teach Tony Robbins sessions etc that he had. Can't remember what they called it, however, essentially my dad raised me under Tony Robbins stuff. I could never have a bad day, it was always "well if you wanted to be happy what would you be happy about?" At age 18 I had my vision, goals and to dos. I accomplished everything. Now I do not hear the end of "get the book it's good". I can only imagine it is! I'm grateful I learned how to master a few things at a young age. Achievement has never been difficult. It is but time. Tony rocks. However, Steve Harvey's book on men is the best in the world and that changed my life! Wise men

I agree with Tony robbins that new year resolution is silly. Also I don't like the idea of making goals during the time of festivals. If you want to make goals or do something, do it NOW! Do not follow the society and wait until those artificial "festivals" . Personally i don't get that excited for festivals. You should try to make everyday of your life a festival!

Compound interest definitely is true and works but it also depends on how much money you put into it. The average person could have 500k at the end of say 40ish years of compound interest. For most people it will range between 300K-600K depending on whether you started in your teens or early 20s and how much you put in. The guy who never made more than 14k per year but ended up with 70 million after 50 years of compound interest is a SPECIAL case...most people won't be able to replicate that. It's more accurate that you could gain anywhere from 300k-600k and for others even 800k-1.2m ish or so. The other aspect about compound interest is that you are assuming that you will live to see that money at the end of it's term. You might spend 50 years putting money into a compound interest savings account but maybe you die prematurely or don't live to 80 like you thought to enjoy the money. You might have half a million dollars in the account but die before you even get to enjoy a penny of it. Of course if you have children, they can reap the benefits of it.

The girl is very well dressed, which is better chances at finding and keeping a professional job. However, keep the wardrobe already have, and don't spend money on shoes, clothing, purses, etc. Save, save, save $ Save on that coffee or food, bring your own lunch and drink to work/school., save, save, save $

@@jarischol331 save AND invest? You won't save your way to be independent most probably and you won't invest if you have nothing to invest... and I'm not talking only stocks etc. physical business, anything!
