There are so many great figures coming out this year and it's always fun watching other collectors making this kind of videos and reading the comments. It helps me justifying the many figures I always pre-order 😅 This year I am really looking forward for Native's DRAMatical Murder figure, Goodsmile's Tokyo Revenger Duo and of course the amazing Chun Li figure🥰
It just hit me how I don't think we have any figures in common in our collections, but I do love watching your videos and learning from you! I was really looking forward to Craft Egg Rimuru, but I have seen they may have went backrupt, so only time will tell if it gets cancelled (along with popular Albedo). Otherwise, Juvia FREEing bunny (I've been waiting so long for anything of her), Mahiru Shiina Estream little devil version, Myne Stronger deluxe version, and Chuuya by Furyu are what I am most looking forward to this year!
Tbh my taste in figures is all over the place and I often find myself buying stuff my audience wouldn't so I'm not surprised our figure tastes are so different lol but I'm glad you can enjoy my videos regardless!
@@ZuccoFigures You do have a variety! It is nice though to have figures that are less popular and not seen as much in the collecting community. Gives more insight into manufactures, sculpts, shading etc., so it's always great to see for reference. It's fun to hear how my opinion lines up with yours for round ups, even if we don't buy the same, can still be objective. You and DTTC reviews are my favorite!
I'm thankfully pretty lucky this year. Save any surprises randomly showing up, I've managed to only preorder 5 figures/nendos. My husband will be getting his one ask with Alexander's nendo for his birthday. You'd think I'd be upset with only 4 figures for me, but I'm pleased to have a chill year 😅.
My top 5 most anticipated figures are: 1) Bombergirl Aqua: AmiAmi/Amakuni 2) Nemesis: Union Creative 3) Narberal Gamma - Alter 4) Kyouka Uzen: FuRyu 5) This is a tie between Megumin Black Rose Dress - FuRyu, and then Aloe: Wing - Belly Dancer Ver Hard to pick just 5 I’m looking forward to, so many nice figures coming out this year.
My top 5 preorders are the scales of Chisato and Takina from Lycoris Recoil in their LycoReco uniform, the Persona 5 Dancing rerelease of Joker and Morgana, Akechis Persona Loki and the Sakura Miku Nendroid Doll. I have a lot more preorders (mostly prize and nendroids) but those are my favorits. And your pikmin figures are really cute
Got all the volumes of Dead Dead Demons, they’re really nice volumes, spines are all different with different colour writing, which I love, huge sucker for colourful spines. Art style looks great too, didn’t know it’s the same mangaka that wrote Goodnight PunPun.
I also have that Flandre, the insane one looks insanely awesome. Blood thirsty Flan is always cute. Shame on the size of it though, 1/8th is pretty small. Also, there are some small cutesy Chun Li figures I've considered, the only other one I kind of liked was the 1/4 scale one by eagle... eagle something... but the face and legs weren't quite right. Also, forget about the water bottle, I really don't like the stand... I think I'll try to find a GK of this later and give it a proper stand :3
I'll be picking up the Metroid EMMI, Chun-Li and Tae Takemi as well! She also got me when I played P5R for the first time but her figure was still an aftermarket beast at the time. So happy she got rereleased!
I don't have much figures pre-ordered for 2024, but the one I'm definitely looking forward to is the "1/5 Rasetsuhime -Saki-" figure made by Inbina. I'm huge fan of Asanagi's artwork and I feel this'll be the definitive figure to display comparing it to all the other figures out there he's collabed with. Also it's an oni girl figure, so that's a huge plus for me.
There was a time I was contemplating getting that figure. Would be cool to have an Asanagi figure in the collection. Almost bought that one fox girl he designed as well. Forget which company made it though
I see, it's the attack of the Pop Up Parades. A shame because I think that Good Smile Company has the resources to make scales and we're used to settling for breadcrumbs. My favourite figure in this video is probably a tie between Chun Li and the Berserk resins. That Chun Li scale makes me feel nostalgic for when I used to play Street Fighter as a kid - especially cause I use to choose her all the time. And those Berserk resins take my breath away every time I see them. They are definitely the finest Berserk memorabilia you can ever get. And Angela lol. I remember the glorious rant you went on in her pre-order round up video. I get it though, sometimes you just gotta pull the trigger if it's a character you love. Hears hoping that Flare listens to customer feedback and fixes her botched face.
GSC is just so hesitant to make scale figures these days and its a little annoying. I don't hate Pop up parades, but it does feel like they just use them as an excuse to not venture into more scale projects
Alter remi probably gonna be figure of the year for me honestly. Glad I pre-ordered before it sold out everywhere. Also glad I ordered alter flan way back cuz man her aftermarket rn is nuts
As mainly a Touhou collector my most anticipated figure for this year is definitely the Sakuya Izayoi 1/7 by Emontoys. That thing looks insane, is a masterpiece
It may be a simple figure but that 1/6 scale Yukino Yukinoshita(probably my favorite waifu) from Good Smile is my #1 this year. Honorable mention to the re-release of the Amakuni Makoto w/Johanna and Riselia from Seiken Gakuin done by Kadokawa cause even though her face could be improved im not going to complain since its most likely the only figure she'll get

I preordered 4 figures for 2024: Alucard "special edition" popup parade L as well as Paladin Andersen pup L, then mushroom girl 2 and mushroom girl 4 (accidentally missed out on nr. 1, will po nr. 3 as soon as it's possible). Picked up a lot pre-owned in 2023, collection coming along nicely 😊

W. My top 5 are all just BA figures... I'll just say 3: FREEing's 1/4 Izumi Shishidou, ques Q's 1/7 Shizuyama Mashiro and MIMEYOI's 1/7 Eimi because I don't think any of them are as popular as the mainstream BA characters, so I'm happy that they are actually getting really nice figures

Great picks! I don’t know anything about Touhou but the figures are knocking it out of the park lately and are very tempting. My most anticipated preorder is Yakuwa Nazumi 1/4th and Nendoroid Chiaki Nanami (still can’t believe she is getting one, hoping for more). Down the line I want to preorder the inky cap mushroom girl, all the mushroom girls are very unique and beautiful. Though right now I need to cool it on preorders 😅 I recently picked up the set Bilibili fantasy star 1/6th figures: 22 Niang-scythe of illusion ver and 33 Niang-xingyao familiar ver. They were Chinese releases and were not the easiest to get ahold of at the time, but I managed to get them for a wicked deal on MFC a few weeks ago and couldn’t pass it up. They are extremely underrated, huge and beautiful figures that more people should know about. The most I’ve heard people talk about these characters is from the recent shin seiki evangelion collaboration or their Myethos outfit figures but even then it’s scarce and their figures seem to be difficult to get ahold of if you aren’t used to navigating niche sites from my understanding.
Touhou kinda thriving lately and I'm here for it. Can't get everything but I'm super pumped about the recent figures I got to add to my collection. Chinese figures can be a bit difficult to find info on. Sometimes they aren't even added to MFC's database, though they are getting better about it. For me personally, alot of these characters from Chinese manufacturers I know nothing about, and as the collection grows it becomes harder to justify buying them even if they are stunning
Seeing that Aigis figure made me cancel my P3 Reload collector's edition. Don't really care for the artbook and soundtrack so I'm in effect paying $140 USD for something that looks worse than a Pop Up Parade (I wasn't really into figure collecting back when I ordered it so didn't know better). Would rather play it on Steam Deck anyway (CE only available on console). Going to put that towards other stuff...like that Mio figma which is apparently still available on AmiAmi. My most anticipated are probably CCS Toys Gunbuster + Metal Build Dragon Scale Lancelot Albion (already have the Guren). Would love some character figures from Code Geass but don't see too many from the original series and the ones that are there are super expensive for what they are.
I used to buy alot of Collector's Editions but I got burnt out. Partially from the prices, partially from the space they take up, but I also just never use any of the extras. I like artbooks and soundtracks but I had a bad habit of just leaving them sealed to preserve the condition and whatnot. I just don't trust figures that come with CEs though. They never turn out right. I can appreciate companies turning to GSC to actually make Pop Up Parades like they did with Street Fighter VI though so you can more easily gauge the quality and price the figure is adding to the package.
My Elden Ring nendo pre-order this year was the Ranni figure. It's so cute I couldn't pass it up. That's my most anticipated one. My other two for sure pre-orders were the Frieren Nendo and the Komi-san maid pop up BUT I have a few wishlists that I missed the window on. Mainly the bunny suit Makima.
I kind of want Ranni's nendo. She has a scale coming in the future but I have a feeling that the price is going to be ridiculous. Her Nendo would be a backup plan for me. How's Makima's Price on the aftermarket? I haven't seen much about her bunny for some reason.
Preordered an Amakuni Rei Ayanami coming out in September i believe? Other than that, might get the crazy Miku-throne figure BUT i just splurged on two Dollfies so my spending is pretty limited for most of the year 😅😭
Imo Amakuni power is her best figure by far. I have issues with all her other scale figures, from cheap looking shading to weird faces to strange proportions. I think amakuni captured her best with their rendition. I think CSM figures are usually a bit overpriced due to somethin with the licensing Also my most anticipated pre order is the prime one studio shadows house kate & Emilico. I told myself I wasn't going to order because of how expensive it is but I caved.
CSM tax definitely seems like a thing, but I've also seen a lot of them drop in price so I don't think its working in their favor. Ah you bought the Shadows House figure/statue. It's impressive for sure, but the price was shocking to say the least lol. I certainly know how it feels to not want to miss out on something though

I think I have about 15 figures preordered some are roll overs from last year though (i'm looking at you mytheos aki) I I have a few that overlap with yours, power, maka and the persona 5 characters. I think I'm most excited about Nanjamo/iono and then maybe all the aniplex figures coming this year (the lycoris recoil girls and marin the tube). I dont know I'm still holding a candle for ranma figures to come out. lol

The preorders I were the most excited for this year were my 1/6 bleach statues byakuya and ichigo…found out this morning that their manufacturer Oniri-créations went bankrupt. Will I ever see my 1200$ again 😒.
My top 5 are going to be the Prinz Race Queen since Baltimore turned out great, the Arknights Surtr and Mudrock summer figures since I play and love that game, Elizabeth from Persona 3 is up there for me and my biggest hope for the year is the Nohr Noble Corrin from Fire Emblem Fates. I love Conquest so having that specific outfit of Corrin get a figure is awesome and will go great with the Camilla from Conquest I have. Hard agree on the Bremertons. I'll scoop her and her tennis outfit once they both drop in price. I wish I scooped Aigis but I didn't pull the trigger so now I have to snipe a pre-order or maybe get one that dips in price... doubt with the P3 hype this year so yeah. Once Mio drops, instant pre order and easily a top 3 of the year for me.
Oh also, pre-ordered the Mira figure. amiami's price was too good to pass up since I did pick up MX-chan at 24K which I think is fine since she doesn't seem to be dropping and this month already had some bigger figures in a Ryza scale and the Ann Takamaki figure re-release in her Panther outfit. Now if only Ryuji finally got a scale...

I can't believe I only have 8 figures pre-ordered and 6 of them are Persona re-releases. I guess I figured that most figures don't seem worth pre-ordering nowadays since they're almost always cheaper after the fact. I do have a lot of figures like that I have marked so I can see the quality and price after release. The Aegis, and Makima and the Yakuza men being a few of those examples. I got the BB from Alter I wanted, this month the one with the tentacles for much cheaper than if I had just pre-ordered it. I'm wary of the Yakuza guys as well since I don't know how they'll turn out so I am slightly worried. Digism isn't really a company I have any experience with soo
I think it's smarter to avoid too many preorders nowadays. If I didn't have a youtube channel I'd probably take more risks on the aftermarket. BB dropping in price so much was one of the reasons I just left Shuten Douji off the list. Like BB dropped so fast that I was kind of offended lol. The Yakuza figs....I only really trust Majima from what we've seen so far, but even if they don't deliver I think the franchise is popular enough that we'll get another chance from some other company
@@ZuccoFigures I was sort of not sure with BB because A. It was Amiami exclusive and B. its Alter and Fate so I'm not sure how the aftermarket is going to look on this one. In hindsight, I am glad I bought it now because its literally not at any other store. The spotless skin edition at least or whatever its called. And its funny that even then preowned (B plus and B box) it still ended up being a little over $200. God the shipping.
I recently just got Xiao from Genshin idk why when I could have gotten Sakuya whom I also want 😣 aside from those the rest are Gojos, Nendroid Look Up Noodle Stopper Coco one... err I think thats enough Gojo lol I will hold off on Cardcaptor Sakura for as long as possible. And I did get Power break time with meowy because why wouldn't we, shes with Meowy. I need more Samus Metroid as well! All I have are her Amiibos lol which reminds me on checking anything Monster Hunter, Im also going to hold off as much as possible until their MSI releases
That's quite a bit, especially given that persumbly some that would be released near the end of the year have not yet been put on sale. Personally, I only have 12 that are slated to be released this year so far with another 4 stuck in various state of transit from last year. But I'm sure both my list and yours are subject to expansion as the year goes on. I almost bought the Chun Li but ultimately didn't. I don't play any fighting game, so there is no personal connection at all which makes the price a bit hard to swallow. But she really do look nice, especially them thighs... If her price drops in the aftermarket somehow, I might consider getting it.
Making TH-cam videos has kinda pushed me to order a little bit more than I used to, which isnt the best, but I feel like I've got things(mostly) under control lol. I have a feeling Chun will go up in price but thats just a hunch. Mostly because it'll appeal to people who don't even really collect figures
They are definitely in limbo even tho CR will say they aren't. I waited for over a month for them to ship out something I preordered from Crunchyroll before the original site migration. They just kept telling me to wait 10-15 business days or cancel and reorder it. If I waited and then emailed them back they would tell me to wait again 😅 just the same generic email. It's not a fun time.
@@ZuccoFigures yeah, it hasn't been fun. I have had no issues getting a refund thankfully. I haven't dealt with a right stuf order, only old CR orders but based on what I have read people are having issues with the other orders too. Hopefully it's all worked out by the time yours are released 😅

Fox lady, yamato nadeshiko vibe, decided to go for it for my fox girl shelf. I don't plan to put Azur Lane figures on pre-order, but might pick them up in the aftermarket if they drop. This one isn't really available easily, so I went for it. -Tomotake Yoshino from Senren Banka. Shrine maiden, very pretty. Do have the visual novel, have not read it yet. Had on pre order for a while, which locked in a cheaper price, and cast off, though oddly in my opinion a 'pretty' cast off. -Same Futaba Sakura from Persona 5. Chose Futaba first, cute gamer girl, casual clothing. Not too pricey in today's market. -Sagisawa Fumika from Idolmaster, off stage. I've liked Fumika's vibe from fan art, probably the only Idolmaster character I know of or care about. Love the book setting. Again, not too pricey, want to put on a book shelf. -The Wakamo. Again, fox girl, has a "presence," probably going to be ridiculous unless everyone hates it. This one is definitely a gamble. -Hua Hu - Mo Li by Animester. Again, fox girl, but at a great price. Very beautiful looking, love it coming out of the scroll. May or may not display with the wood/paper umbrella. Probably pairing opposite the Amagi. -P3R Elizabeth by Kotobukiya. Elizabeth basically is Persona at this point, and I love Persona. 1/8ths just have decenter? prices. -Rosuuri's White Rabbit. I played around with getting a bunny girl figure since everyone seems to have at least one. This one got announced at some point for a decent price, and thought it was really cute looking with her showing off after taking off the sweater. Decided to just go for it. -Kamisato Ayaka from Genshin Impact. This was an instant preorder as soon as I saw it on AmiAmi. All I need is a Yae Miko figure and I'll be happy now. Raiden Shogun will also be fine. -Bonus 2025: Snowy Pine's Warmth Ying Swei from Azur Lane. Preordered before I started developing my collection. Wanted more winter figures, and this one was the most winter one I could find. Very beautiful looking, may be the focus of a winter theme or Chinese dress shelf. For possibilities: -Solarain Reimu. I am kicking myself for just not going for this one. I have a shrine maiden shelf planned, and who better to grace that shelf than Hakurei Reimu herself. Hoping the aftermarket is kind, gambled against it because people seemed mid on it. -Angela from Trials of Mana. Agreed with your impression when it was painted, wait to see if the face is fixed or get it if it bins. -S in a white kimono. Don't know much about this line, but hey. Beautiful lady in a beautiful kimono that wouldn't look out of place in a winter theme. You may finally be seeing a pattern with my favorites to get. -First Snow Upon the Cutlass's Edge Jean Bart from Azur Lane. Azur Lane, see if it bins. But who wouldn't love a beautiful French lady in a kimono looking impressive? With the idea it goes with a winter setting? -Amagi-chan from Azur Lane. Looks the size of a nendoroid, see if it bins. I like AL's skin designs way too much. Plus an adorable fox girl instead. -Chen Hai, also Azur Lane, in October. Not shying away from beautiful Chinese outfits, either. Seems inexpensive, maybe see later.
@@ZuccoFigures Oh... Um. I might have been slowly making that list while listening to the video and didn't finish the actual video before you said anything. I didn't even know you asked. I don't really have anyone to talk to about figures so I guess I went overboard. If it's any consolation, that list could have been bigger (Mudrock, Fu Xuan off the top of my head). Preorder closed at the end of November. She won't be out until June of next year. Is looking like a big month for figures at this point. Hopefully if it drops and is available, pick it up with the bunny girl or August. I don't have anything for August. Otherwise, there is one by Emontoys that's being made. Not the Furyu one, though, that one just seems expensive for no reason. Top 5 is probably going to be: Ayaka, Yoshino, Wakamo, and the Mo Li fox lady. I feel like the White Rabbit would be top 5 preorders but can be switched out, unless I get that Reimu.

I always love how well spoken you are in videos! Definitely hoping you'll get that Makima figure since I personally can't and i'm dying to see what it's like! As for my anticipated pre-orders? Most likely Makima figma, P.O.P Gear 5 Luffy, and the S.H.FIGUARTS re-release of Zero Two and Strelitzia!
That Futaba release in march is my wishes comeing true. She was super expensive on the after market. Her other scale, the phantom thief one is around 55k yen on the aftermarket now... I hopeing for a rerelease of that, because all the other Futaba scales announced look so dead. For my top preorders, it's Futaba, the same Aigis, the Code Vein - Io rerelease, Hololive's Ninomae Inanis DX nendoroid and lastly Nero Claudius Venus Silk version which is an FGO figure, but knowing Nero, it might not drop too much in price and I don't want to risk it going up either.
I am like 99% positive that her phantom thieves figure is getting a rerelease because I remember seeing it recently at a figure event. Would be odd to bring it there without plans to reprint it.
I think the most outstanding releases I've seen this year would include Alter Remi & Max factory Chun Li. I don't know what it is (I do I'm lying), but the sculpt of Chun Li is so accurate to character and her toned leg muscles being airbrushed so meticulously is insane!! The only licensed example that comes to mind is the Kotobukiya figures, but none of them really remind me of her in the face. The gentle pearlescent blue and that copper/caramel color where the hair meets the scalp (& the ahoge) are outstanding & ripped straight out of Akis illustration. A proper Chun Li is overdue in my opinion. Wonderful video as per usual.
My top five pre-orders for 2024 are: Iono Pokemon Scale, Super Bunny Scale, Joker Persona 5: Dancing Star Night (Kotobukiya), Akaya Scale (Genshin by Apex) and Natusme Re-release by Kotobukiya

Berserk figures would be the only ones I woudl ever buy and those look absolutely amazing but 1200 dollars for my first figures seems a bit crazy 😅 guess its the pop up guts for me EDIT: NVM if they are same size as Prime 1 older Berserk statues. Way too big for me :D
They are a bit smaller actually. 1/6th scale, though the price is still super high. These are probably going to be my last Berserk Figures I buy for that reason lol
Figure would be Nia currently(Mio will surely be my favorite unless they mess it up) and as for merch...I really like those Metallic Museum keychains they did for XB1 and XB3. The Trinity box soundtrack is probably the best thing they've ever released in terms of merch though. Very excited to get my hands on that XB3 artbook as well

Didn't preorder anything, I kinda missed the window for Chun-Li and I hope I'll be able to get her after release. I was really tempted by Aegis too, as it's a fantastic design, but I don't know yet. Also those Toridamono designs are so tempting, and would go so well next to my girl Ryza. ^^
There will probably be extra stock of Chun if I had to guess, though I have a feeling she might go quicker than usual just due to the appeal of the character

Seeing your list has made me realize I have so many figures coming in this year but easily my most anticipated (if it doesn’t get delayed) is the Azur Lane New Jersey Snow-White Ceremony. Funny enough last years most anticipated figure got delayed into this month and that’s the Arknights Skadi The Corrupting Heart Deluxe version.
Ah yeah I want her, but I'm waiting for Max Factory's Bunny version which still doesn't even have a prototype. For this video I didn't want to talk about figures that you can't order yet
It's gonna be a crazy year for figures, I can already tell. I respect the Bremerton picks, must say. I did PO both the ones you mentioned, but I may cancel the 1/4th. Not because of the figure, but space(as you eluded to). She's not my absolute favorite Azur Lane girl, but the appeal is clear. My favorite atm would be Hindenburg(red hair succubus who just got a bunny skin in-game). Red hair and red eyes, my one true weakness. The fact she's got all the devil features is all pluses to me. I already have 7 figures pre-ordered and many I'm keeping an eye on to see their prototypes or release dates. The most difficult part is holding back ngl. There are two 1/4th prototypes I know i'm going to get, so that's part of why Bremerton's may have to hit the chopping block for space reasons, even if the price is very reasonable for a 1/4th. It's almost less about price for me at this point(within reason), and rather space.
Space really controls the hobby once you get deep into it. It's why I often sell off figures I no longer have interest in, though eventually I'm gonna run out of those lol. Also sorta why I don't collect that many figures that are +18 or sexy simply because for me they are the easiest to let go. Alter's Bremerton def an exception to that though, the design is too appealing to me.

I was really looking forward to Craft Egg Rimuru, but I have seen they may have went backrupt, so only time will tell if it gets cancelled (along with popular Albedo). Otherwise, Juvia FREEing bunny (I've been waiting so long for anything of her), Mahiru Shiina Estream little devil version, Myne Stronger deluxe version, and Chuuya by Furyu are what I am most looking forward to this year!

Tbh my taste in figures is all over the place and I often find myself buying stuff my audience wouldn't so I'm not surprised our figure tastes are so different lol but I'm glad you can enjoy my videos regardless!
@@ZuccoFigures You do have a variety! It is nice though to have figures that are less popular and not seen as much in the collecting community. Gives more insight into manufactures, sculpts, shading etc., so it's always great to see for reference. It's fun to hear how my opinion lines up with yours for round ups, even if we don't buy the same, can still be objective. You and DTTC reviews are my favorite!
I'm thankfully pretty lucky this year. Save any surprises randomly showing up, I've managed to only preorder 5 figures/nendos. My husband will be getting his one ask with Alexander's nendo for his birthday.
You'd think I'd be upset with only 4 figures for me, but I'm pleased to have a chill year 😅.

My top 5 preorders are the scales of Chisato and Takina from Lycoris Recoil in their LycoReco uniform, the Persona 5 Dancing rerelease of Joker and Morgana, Akechis Persona Loki and the Sakura Miku Nendroid Doll. I have a lot more preorders (mostly prize and nendroids) but those are my favorits.

Got all the volumes of Dead Dead Demons, they’re really nice volumes, spines are all different with different colour writing, which I love, huge sucker for colourful spines. Art style looks great too, didn’t know it’s the same mangaka that wrote Goodnight PunPun.

I also have that Flandre, the insane one looks insanely awesome. Blood thirsty Flan is always cute. Shame on the size of it though, 1/8th is pretty small. Also, there are some small cutesy Chun Li figures I've considered, the only other one I kind of liked was the 1/4 scale one by eagle... eagle something... but the face and legs weren't quite right. Also, forget about the water bottle, I really don't like the stand... I think I'll try to find a GK of this later and give it a proper stand :3
I'll be picking up the Metroid EMMI, Chun-Li and Tae Takemi as well! She also got me when I played P5R for the first time but her figure was still an aftermarket beast at the time. So happy she got rereleased!

I don't have much figures pre-ordered for 2024, but the one I'm definitely looking forward to is the "1/5 Rasetsuhime -Saki-" figure made by Inbina. I'm huge fan of Asanagi's artwork and I feel this'll be the definitive figure to display comparing it to all the other figures out there he's collabed with. Also it's an oni girl figure, so that's a huge plus for me.
There was a time I was contemplating getting that figure. Would be cool to have an Asanagi figure in the collection. Almost bought that one fox girl he designed as well. Forget which company made it though
I see, it's the attack of the Pop Up Parades. A shame because I think that Good Smile Company has the resources to make scales and we're used to settling for breadcrumbs. My favourite figure in this video is probably a tie between Chun Li and the Berserk resins. That Chun Li scale makes me feel nostalgic for when I used to play Street Fighter as a kid - especially cause I use to choose her all the time. And those Berserk resins take my breath away every time I see them. They are definitely the finest Berserk memorabilia you can ever get.
And Angela lol. I remember the glorious rant you went on in her pre-order round up video. I get it though, sometimes you just gotta pull the trigger if it's a character you love. Hears hoping that Flare listens to customer feedback and fixes her botched face.
GSC is just so hesitant to make scale figures these days and its a little annoying. I don't hate Pop up parades, but it does feel like they just use them as an excuse to not venture into more scale projects
Alter remi probably gonna be figure of the year for me honestly. Glad I pre-ordered before it sold out everywhere. Also glad I ordered alter flan way back cuz man her aftermarket rn is nuts

As mainly a Touhou collector my most anticipated figure for this year is definitely the Sakuya Izayoi 1/7 by Emontoys. That thing looks insane, is a masterpiece

W. My top 5 are all just BA figures... I'll just say 3: FREEing's 1/4 Izumi Shishidou, ques Q's 1/7 Shizuyama Mashiro and MIMEYOI's 1/7 Eimi because I don't think any of them are as popular as the mainstream BA characters, so I'm happy that they are actually getting really nice figures

Great picks! I don’t know anything about Touhou but the figures are knocking it out of the park lately and are very tempting. My most anticipated preorder is Yakuwa Nazumi 1/4th and Nendoroid Chiaki Nanami (still can’t believe she is getting one, hoping for more). Down the line I want to preorder the inky cap mushroom girl, all the mushroom girls are very unique and beautiful. Though right now I need to cool it on preorders 😅 I recently picked up the set Bilibili fantasy star 1/6th figures: 22 Niang-scythe of illusion ver and 33 Niang-xingyao familiar ver. They were Chinese releases and were not the easiest to get ahold of at the time, but I managed to get them for a wicked deal on MFC a few weeks ago and couldn’t pass it up. They are extremely underrated, huge and beautiful figures that more people should know about. The most I’ve heard people talk about these characters is from the recent shin seiki evangelion collaboration or their Myethos outfit figures but even then it’s scarce and their figures seem to be difficult to get ahold of if you aren’t used to navigating niche sites from my understanding.
Touhou kinda thriving lately and I'm here for it. Can't get everything but I'm super pumped about the recent figures I got to add to my collection.
Chinese figures can be a bit difficult to find info on. Sometimes they aren't even added to MFC's database, though they are getting better about it. For me personally, alot of these characters from Chinese manufacturers I know nothing about, and as the collection grows it becomes harder to justify buying them even if they are stunning
Seeing that Aigis figure made me cancel my P3 Reload collector's edition. Don't really care for the artbook and soundtrack so I'm in effect paying $140 USD for something that looks worse than a Pop Up Parade (I wasn't really into figure collecting back when I ordered it so didn't know better). Would rather play it on Steam Deck anyway (CE only available on console).
Going to put that towards other stuff...like that Mio figma which is apparently still available on AmiAmi.
My most anticipated are probably CCS Toys Gunbuster + Metal Build Dragon Scale Lancelot Albion (already have the Guren). Would love some character figures from Code Geass but don't see too many from the original series and the ones that are there are super expensive for what they are.
I used to buy alot of Collector's Editions but I got burnt out. Partially from the prices, partially from the space they take up, but I also just never use any of the extras. I like artbooks and soundtracks but I had a bad habit of just leaving them sealed to preserve the condition and whatnot. I just don't trust figures that come with CEs though. They never turn out right. I can appreciate companies turning to GSC to actually make Pop Up Parades like they did with Street Fighter VI though so you can more easily gauge the quality and price the figure is adding to the package.
My Elden Ring nendo pre-order this year was the Ranni figure.
It's so cute I couldn't pass it up. That's my most anticipated one.
My other two for sure pre-orders were
the Frieren Nendo and the Komi-san maid pop up
BUT I have a few wishlists that I missed the window on.

I kind of want Ranni's nendo. She has a scale coming in the future but I have a feeling that the price is going to be ridiculous. Her Nendo would be a backup plan for me.

Imo Amakuni power is her best figure by far. I have issues with all her other scale figures, from cheap looking shading to weird faces to strange proportions. I think amakuni captured her best with their rendition. I think CSM figures are usually a bit overpriced due to somethin with the licensing
Also my most anticipated pre order is the prime one studio shadows house kate & Emilico. I told myself I wasn't going to order because of how expensive it is but I caved.
CSM tax definitely seems like a thing, but I've also seen a lot of them drop in price so I don't think its working in their favor.

I think I have about 15 figures preordered some are roll overs from last year though (i'm looking at you mytheos aki) I I have a few that overlap with yours, power, maka and the persona 5 characters. I think I'm most excited about Nanjamo/iono and then maybe all the aniplex figures coming this year (the lycoris recoil girls and marin the tube). I dont know I'm still holding a candle for ranma figures to come out. lol

My top 5 are going to be the Prinz Race Queen since Baltimore turned out great, the Arknights Surtr and Mudrock summer figures since I play and love that game, Elizabeth from Persona 3 is up there for me and my biggest hope for the year is the Nohr Noble Corrin from Fire Emblem Fates. I love Conquest so having that specific outfit of Corrin get a figure is awesome and will go great with the Camilla from Conquest I have. Hard agree on the Bremertons. I'll scoop her and her tennis outfit once they both drop in price. I wish I scooped Aigis but I didn't pull the trigger so now I have to snipe a pre-order or maybe get one that dips in price... doubt with the P3 hype this year so yeah. Once Mio drops, instant pre order and easily a top 3 of the year for me.
Oh also, pre-ordered the Mira figure. amiami's price was too good to pass up since I did pick up MX-chan at 24K which I think is fine since she doesn't seem to be dropping and this month already had some bigger figures in a Ryza scale and the Ann Takamaki figure re-release in her Panther outfit. Now if only Ryuji finally got a scale...

I can't believe I only have 8 figures pre-ordered and 6 of them are Persona re-releases.
I guess I figured that most figures don't seem worth pre-ordering nowadays since they're almost always cheaper after the fact. I do have a lot of figures like that I have marked so I can see the quality and price after release.
The Aegis, and Makima and the Yakuza men being a few of those examples. I got the BB from Alter I wanted, this month the one with the tentacles for much cheaper than if I had just pre-ordered it. I'm wary of the Yakuza guys as well since I don't know how they'll turn out so I am slightly worried. Digism isn't really a company I have any experience with soo
I think it's smarter to avoid too many preorders nowadays. If I didn't have a youtube channel I'd probably take more risks on the aftermarket. BB dropping in price so much was one of the reasons I just left Shuten Douji off the list. Like BB dropped so fast that I was kind of offended lol. The Yakuza figs....I only really trust Majima from what we've seen so far, but even if they don't deliver I think the franchise is popular enough that we'll get another chance from some other company
@@ZuccoFigures I was sort of not sure with BB because A. It was Amiami exclusive and B. its Alter and Fate so I'm not sure how the aftermarket is going to look on this one.
In hindsight, I am glad I bought it now because its literally not at any other store. The spotless skin edition at least or whatever its called. And its funny that even then preowned (B plus and B box) it still ended up being a little over $200. God the shipping.

I recently just got Xiao from Genshin idk why when I could have gotten Sakuya whom I also want 😣 aside from those the rest are Gojos, Nendroid Look Up Noodle Stopper Coco one... err I think thats enough Gojo lol I will hold off on Cardcaptor Sakura for as long as possible. And I did get Power break time with meowy because why wouldn't we, shes with Meowy. I need more Samus Metroid as well! All I have are her Amiibos lol which reminds me on checking anything Monster Hunter, Im also going to hold off as much as possible until their MSI releases

That's quite a bit, especially given that persumbly some that would be released near the end of the year have not yet been put on sale.
Personally, I only have 12 that are slated to be released this year so far with another 4 stuck in various state of transit from last year. But I'm sure both my list and yours are subject to expansion as the year goes on.
I almost bought the Chun Li but ultimately didn't. I don't play any fighting game, so there is no personal connection at all which makes the price a bit hard to swallow. But she really do look nice, especially them thighs... If her price drops in the aftermarket somehow, I might consider getting it.
Making TH-cam videos has kinda pushed me to order a little bit more than I used to, which isnt the best, but I feel like I've got things(mostly) under control lol. I have a feeling Chun will go up in price but thats just a hunch. Mostly because it'll appeal to people who don't even really collect figures
They are definitely in limbo even tho CR will say they aren't. I waited for over a month for them to ship out something I preordered from Crunchyroll before the original site migration. They just kept telling me to wait 10-15 business days or cancel and reorder it. If I waited and then emailed them back they would tell me to wait again 😅 just the same generic email. It's not a fun time.
Well that's wack. I guess I'll count my blessings that the little figures I bought weren't anything crazy, but who coulda saw this coming
@@ZuccoFigures yeah, it hasn't been fun. I have had no issues getting a refund thankfully. I haven't dealt with a right stuf order, only old CR orders but based on what I have read people are having issues with the other orders too. Hopefully it's all worked out by the time yours are released 😅

For my preorders so far, some might be from something I know, otherwise they just vibe with me for some reason:
-Waiting on the lightly armored Amagi from Azur Lane. Fox lady, yamato nadeshiko vibe, decided to go for it for my fox girl shelf. I don't plan to put Azur Lane figures on pre-order, but might pick them up in the aftermarket if they drop. This one isn't really available easily, so I went for it.
-Tomotake Yoshino from Senren Banka. Shrine maiden, very pretty. Do have the visual novel, have not read it yet. Had on pre order for a while, which locked in a cheaper price, and cast off, though oddly in my opinion a 'pretty' cast off.
-Same Futaba Sakura from Persona 5. Chose Futaba first, cute gamer girl, casual clothing. Not too pricey in today's market.
-Sagisawa Fumika from Idolmaster, off stage. I've liked Fumika's vibe from fan art, probably the only Idolmaster character I know of or care about. Love the book setting. Again, not too pricey, want to put on a book shelf.
-The Wakamo. Again, fox girl, has a "presence," probably going to be ridiculous unless everyone hates it. This one is definitely a gamble.
-Hua Hu - Mo Li by Animester. Again, fox girl, but at a great price. Very beautiful looking, love it coming out of the scroll. May or may not display with the wood/paper umbrella. Probably pairing opposite the Amagi.
-P3R Elizabeth by Kotobukiya. Elizabeth basically is Persona at this point, and I love Persona. 1/8ths just have decenter? prices.
-Rosuuri's White Rabbit. I played around with getting a bunny girl figure since everyone seems to have at least one. This one got announced at some point for a decent price, and thought it was really cute looking with her showing off after taking off the sweater. Decided to just go for it.
-Kamisato Ayaka from Genshin Impact. This was an instant preorder as soon as I saw it on AmiAmi. All I need is a Yae Miko figure and I'll be happy now. Raiden Shogun will also be fine.
-Bonus 2025: Snowy Pine's Warmth Ying Swei from Azur Lane. Preordered before I started developing my collection. Wanted more winter figures, and this one was the most winter one I could find. Very beautiful looking, may be the focus of a winter theme or Chinese dress shelf.
For possibilities:
-Solarain Reimu. I am kicking myself for just not going for this one. I have a shrine maiden shelf planned, and who better to grace that shelf than Hakurei Reimu herself. Hoping the aftermarket is kind, gambled against it because people seemed mid on it.
-Angela from Trials of Mana. Agreed with your impression when it was painted, wait to see if the face is fixed or get it if it bins.
-S in a white kimono. Don't know much about this line, but hey. Beautiful lady in a beautiful kimono that wouldn't look out of place in a winter theme. You may finally be seeing a pattern with my favorites to get.
-First Snow Upon the Cutlass's Edge Jean Bart from Azur Lane. Azur Lane, see if it bins. But who wouldn't love a beautiful French lady in a kimono looking impressive? With the idea it goes with a winter setting?
-Amagi-chan from Azur Lane. Looks the size of a nendoroid, see if it bins. I like AL's skin designs way too much. Plus an adorable fox girl instead.

@@ZuccoFigures Oh... Um. I might have been slowly making that list while listening to the video and didn't finish the actual video before you said anything. I didn't even know you asked. I don't really have anyone to talk to about figures so I guess I went overboard. If it's any consolation, that list could have been bigger (Mudrock, Fu Xuan off the top of my head).
Preorder closed at the end of November. She won't be out until June of next year. Is looking like a big month for figures at this point. Hopefully if it drops and is available, pick it up with the bunny girl or August. I don't have anything for August. Otherwise, there is one by Emontoys that's being made. Not the Furyu one, though, that one just seems expensive for no reason.
Top 5 is probably going to be: Ayaka, Yoshino, Wakamo, and the Mo Li fox lady. I feel like the White Rabbit would be top 5 preorders but can be switched out, unless I get that Reimu.

Makima has been ordered from estream directly and I think(?) has been paid off so I don't plan to cancel or anything. I'm very excited

Her other scale, the phantom thief one is around 55k yen on the aftermarket now... I hopeing for a rerelease of that, because all the other Futaba scales announced look so dead.
For my top preorders, it's Futaba, the same Aigis, the Code Vein - Io rerelease, Hololive's Ninomae Inanis DX nendoroid and lastly Nero Claudius Venus Silk version which is an FGO figure, but knowing Nero, it might not drop too much in price and I don't want to risk it going up either.
I am like 99% positive that her phantom thieves figure is getting a rerelease because I remember seeing it recently at a figure event. Would be odd to bring it there without plans to reprint it.
I think the most outstanding releases I've seen this year would include Alter Remi & Max factory Chun Li. I don't know what it is (I do I'm lying), but the sculpt of Chun Li is so accurate to character and her toned leg muscles being airbrushed so meticulously is insane!! The only licensed example that comes to mind is the Kotobukiya figures, but none of them really remind me of her in the face. The gentle pearlescent blue and that copper/caramel color where the hair meets the scalp (& the ahoge) are outstanding & ripped straight out of Akis illustration. A proper Chun Li is overdue in my opinion. Wonderful video as per usual.

Berserk figures would be the only ones I woudl ever buy and those look absolutely amazing but 1200 dollars for my first figures seems a bit crazy 😅 guess its the pop up guts for me

They are a bit smaller actually. 1/6th scale, though the price is still super high. These are probably going to be my last Berserk Figures I buy for that reason lol

Figure would be Nia currently(Mio will surely be my favorite unless they mess it up) and as for merch...I really like those Metallic Museum keychains they did for XB1 and XB3. The Trinity box soundtrack is probably the best thing they've ever released in terms of merch though. Very excited to get my hands on that XB3 artbook as well

Didn't preorder anything, I kinda missed the window for Chun-Li and I hope I'll be able to get her after release. I was really tempted by Aegis too, as it's a fantastic design, but I don't know yet. Also those Toridamono designs are so tempting, and would go so well next to my girl Ryza. ^^
There will probably be extra stock of Chun if I had to guess, though I have a feeling she might go quicker than usual just due to the appeal of the character

Seeing your list has made me realize I have so many figures coming in this year but easily my most anticipated (if it doesn’t get delayed) is the Azur Lane New Jersey Snow-White Ceremony. Funny enough last years most anticipated figure got delayed into this month and that’s the Arknights Skadi The Corrupting Heart Deluxe version.
That New Jersey figure is a real beaut. Love scale figures with goofy expressions too
My only 2 pre-orders are both coming out in April: VA-11 HALL-A Dorothy Haze Nendoroid & Tea Time Cats Vol.3 Cow Cat (with tea pot, etc.).
Part of me wishes that Dorothy ends up more pale/white when she comes out but she's still super cute as a nendo

It's gonna be a crazy year for figures, I can already tell. I respect the Bremerton picks, must say. I did PO both the ones you mentioned, but I may cancel the 1/4th. Not because of the figure, but space(as you eluded to). She's not my absolute favorite Azur Lane girl, but the appeal is clear. My favorite atm would be Hindenburg(red hair succubus who just got a bunny skin in-game). Red hair and red eyes, my one true weakness. The fact she's got all the devil features is all pluses to me.
I already have 7 figures pre-ordered and many I'm keeping an eye on to see their prototypes or release dates. The most difficult part is holding back ngl. There are two 1/4th prototypes I know i'm going to get, so that's part of why Bremerton's may have to hit the chopping block for space reasons, even if the price is very reasonable for a 1/4th. It's almost less about price for me at this point(within reason), and rather space.
Space really controls the hobby once you get deep into it. It's why I often sell off figures I no longer have interest in, though eventually I'm gonna run out of those lol. Also sorta why I don't collect that many figures that are +18 or sexy simply because for me they are the easiest to let go. Alter's Bremerton def an exception to that though, the design is too appealing to me.
I hope ame will get a nendoroid someday
