I think Prisma Wing is making a new Dizzy? Been forever since they announced that though. There's also Alters which has always been popular but maybe doesn't stand the tests of time since it's fairly old at this point
I love me a good themed unboxing haul! Haven't played Guilty Gear before myself but they had a crossover with Epic Seven before and I loved the character designs. 😁
The reason Jam's quads look off is because they are. The original art didnt have them that defined, the sculptor took the liberty to add the definition, but did it in an unflattering way that looks like they just slapped the on there. I think the Bishoujo Chun li Battle Outfit does a similar pose much better and more natural looking. Which is a shame cause I love Jam, shes been my main since GGX. Great GG girls collection btw! I do love my Spiritale Bridget, but yeah hair coller could've been a bit more muted and your concern about Roger is well founded, mine arrived with Roger dettached, he had come off during shipping, but there is a good plug in port that attaches him. So just put a little glue to resecure him and he fit right back in place. If he does come off, he is an easy fix.
Yeah hard to say exactly where the idea for Jam's thighs came from but it certainly wasn't the art. Also damn Roger came loose huh? thankfully doesn't seem like yours got damaged but at least the fix was easy
I'll forever kick myself for not picking up Max Factory's figure when it was up for preorder back in the day. Even so, we're long overdue for another figure
damn, I had no clue this happened with bridget too. idk if you've heard yet, but spiritale's 39 special day miku figure came out and was... kind of terrible. her hair strand that was supposed to sit on the arm was just loose and weird, hair was flat, some people didn't have the back glued on the throne, her hands look bad, etc. Nothing like the prototype as far as details go, to the point where amiami started halting shipments soon after she released. idk what spiritale is going to do about this, I was lucky enough to see the news and ask amiami to cancel her for me before I paid. sad because I own quite a few spiritale figures at this point and I love them, I found their quality pretty constant. but something major must have happened at the company for it to morph into this.
You weren't kidding. Some of these photos I'm lookin at right now look like bootlegs. Guess I shouldn't have much hope for the Birthday Polaris Miku. I had a few Spiritale figures on my radar but now I'm not so sure. I'll hold out some hope for their eventual Elphelt but I'd be pretty mad if I bought this Miku figure. I'll consider myself lucky that Bridget is nowhere near as bad.

I'm glad we're getting more GG figures, but I wish other charas besides Bridget would get made x'D Millia is my main girl and I'm still waiting.. I paid around 300ish for a "decent" condition figure of her by Epoch/Coldcast I love it, but I want another/new one! Glad to see a video on GG figures though, its rare to see a discussion about them! Its interesting to see some of them together for scale comparison, even if a bit off they look good together. Also like that we're getting the iconic pose for Jack-O! GG figures in general go up in price, Ramlethal ones are also up there with Jack-O and Jam. One of the cheaper ones is Alter's Dizzy surprisingly enough.
I would really like to get my hands on Max Factory's Ramlethal but she goes for absurd amounts. You'd think they'd just rerelease her by now but naaaaaaah

Hey, people not liking a minor aspect usually means huge pre-owned deals if you waited. Just took advantage of that with the Colors:Blue figure by Solarain, the one with the face color issue. Saw photos and it's somewhat noticeable, but the rest makes up for it. It had even dropped further while I was debating it. And one of the Girls' Frontline figures tickled my interest and it's got a bunch of low priced ones on AmiAmi. Because of an issue with the flag I think? Really need to get back to Guilty Gear. Been getting better at Granblue Versus instead recently, but since I finished the battle pass that's an excuse to take a break and go back.
That's very true but that just means I bought a figure that will likely drop in price lol. I mean I make videos so it's ok when that happens to me but I try not to pick up figures that will DEF drop in price right away Granblue Versus was pretty fun for the little bit I played. Yuel was a good time

I’m delighted to see how good May looks, and devastated to see how Banana Bridget came out. 9:38 AQ’s Idol Emperor Nero got a reissue around 2022 I believe but I also don’t know if that release was planned/happened before the bankruptcy or not. They did fix an issue with her leg though it seems. It’s possible there’ll be future reissues but I wouldn’t bet on it
There's one figure I own that I'm pretty sure I've had for over 10 years and never displayed it. One day I'll get around to showing it off on the channel as it's a bit of an oddity in my collection

Seems like Spiritale didn't even try at all to get the paint and shading right on Bridget's hair and just went straight to mass production 😂 but still looks decent enough though and the default pose is my favorite among all the other figures available now,,

Love the Guilty Gear haul!! I'm waiting to see the Kotobukiya Briget with Return of the Killing Machine before picking up one of her figures. That and the Jack-O from Apex toys, even though she's a 1/9 scale unlike most other GG figures.
I'm not even sure what other Bridget figures I have my eye on now that I have Spiritales. I kinda like that some companies are going back to the older design though
Bridget sculpt is great. But shame about wobbling and flat hair colors. Seems they cheaped out on some aspects during mass production. I got the May figure too and she looks amazing. I really want the Jam figure but aftermarket prices are insane.
From my experience all of my Spiritale figures are on the heavier side with Bridget being the heaviest. I feel like eventually she's gonna lean or just straight up fall down but I guess we'll see.
Baiken is a maybe just because I'm not crazy about the companies who are making her figures. Jack-O doing the pose im prob gonna skip cause she's 1/9th scale. Spiritales Elphelt has my attention but im a little skeptical after Bridget(she'll prob be ok at worst tho). Always have my eyes on figures from this series tho

Nice to see a Guilty Gear haul! I'm very fond of the female characters, but I wish there were more male figures out there for the series. Would love to see an Asuka, Chaos, or Bedman someday, I think any of those three would look fantastic in figure form.

I feel like the only area that looks orange to me are the areas behind her knees. I assume they did that just to highlight that area slightly but ya im ok with it

Apex is makin one in the jack-o pose but it's a 1/9th for some reason. I just found out its going to be extremely cheap though(like 6k yen) so that definitely helps

I wonder if the announcement of the Apex one brought the price back down a bit (not saying that $500 is that much more reasonable, but y'know). I have the Elphelt by Aquamarine and she also has that same hideous base! No idea what they were thinking with that... I will probably have to sell her eventually because she is such a space hog.
I feel like Apex kinda ruined their release by making Jack-o a 1/9th scale. Like who is that for lol. There's been a few times I almost picked up that Elphelt but she was never my favorite character so I held off. I do like her redesign though, but only Spiritale has announced a figure of her redesign at the moment and I'm a little wary as you can imagine.

I sold most of them at this point, but I'm thinking about just buying Dizzy off of him and adding her to the collection. Well I say thinking but I'm like 99% sure I'm gonna do that lol
Uh oh. Is this Spiritale's first? Another reason to not pre-order these days, but I honestly didn't expect this to happen with a figure from Spiritale. In many ways, this reminds me of what I went through with Lyn from Intelligent Systems - the prototype was very colorful but the end product was super muted. Thankfully, Bridget has so many figures coming out so there are other options. Still, it always hurts to have a figure you are looking forward to turning out this way.
I was just informed that Spiritale majorly screwed up on their Hatsune Miku 39's Special Day figure as well. Go look up some photos of her and you'll immediately see problems. I consider myself lucky with Bridget in comparison. Not lookin great for the company lately
This figure does give me some anxiety do to how unstable the base appears. I feel like she'll fall over with the slightest shake wherever she's standing.
Weird, TH-cam notified my this one day later... Funny enough today I saw Apex toys releasing a video of Jack-O pose figure XD Oh yeah sad news my friend but my Skadi figure got lost in the shipment :c I got a total refund, but still 😢 I don't know if I can even find that figure.

I think you'll be happy enough. I've grown on the figure a bit since unboxing her and filming this video, but I never would have called this Bridget figure bad. Just a little disappointing because it could have been better

Actually, if you keep an eye on AmiAmi, you may run into a Dizzy figure from 2011 by Alter that's still affordable.

Just ordered the bridget figure and im kinda sad about the hair( i dident know before ordering) but she still looks amazing.

I think you'll be happy enough. I've grown on the figure a bit since unboxing her and filming this video, but I never would have called this Bridget figure bad. Just a little disappointing because it could have been better

Mine is arriving around july cant wait for it to arrive payed a heafty some around 300€ (anime stuf in italy is very overpriced but hey it is what it is) hope its worth it.
