Just like Westerners eat white bread with jam, cheese, ham etc
@@vincentloo7520😂😂😂it is fun to watch them not doing any research and laugh at other country culture food. To me they just like someone eating their white bread and laugh there are not taste.
😂True, it’s pizza dough and burger buns without the cheese and tomato sauce and beef patties
When you come to Beijing, you must try Beijing roast duck, copper pot shabu-shabu, and Belle Barbecue. Don’t try Beijing bean juice. You don’t even dare to drink it locally. For other dishes, you can go to restaurants and order Kung Pao Chicken, Sweet and Sour Pork, etc. These are sweet and sour dishes to suit your tastes,
Thanks awesome, gonna check all that out! Comments like this are perfect

I'm from bilibili. Have a good time
Oohh Yeah! Greetings to BiliBili🫡
same,came from bilibili
I find often times westerners only seem to know the carb dishes in China, like noodles, dumplings and bao buns. Yes, they are good traditional Chinese food and comes in different variations, but the most delicious Chinese food actually lies in the large variety of stir fried, pan fried, braised, roasted and steamed dishes that go along with the carbs. You thought Chinese don’t eat that much chicken? You just couldn’t imagine how many chicken dishes we have (Kung Pao chicken, Shandong Huangmen braised chicken, Sichuan spicy chicken, crispy fried chicken, Coconut chicken hotpot, Guangdong soy sauce chicken, ginger chicken, Three Cup Chicken, Xinjiang Big Plate Chicken etc. they all taste different), so not just beef and pork, but also mutton, duck, goose. 90% of the touristy areas (especially the neon lights food courts on those famous pedestrian streets) are just “snacks” or trash food that you can find in every touristy place in China and do not even represent 5% of what the Chinese normally eat in their daily lives, let alone represent the typical food for the province/city. I suggest that you explore more local restaurants like the last one you had; no need to be fancy big restaurants, the small ones on the streets or in shopping malls will do the job.
Famous Beijing cuisines to name a few: Peking duck, Jianbing (a type of Pancake); Beijing fried sauce/bean paste noodles, mutton hotpot, Tofu pudding, brown sugar fritters.
Thanks a lot for all the information👍🏼 We definitely want to taste even more of the Chinese cuisine, especially the local dishes!
If you like to eat a lot of fine food in one city, I suggest you go to Guangzhou, if you like to eat heavy food, I recommend Chongqing and Chengdu.❤

Let me give you a suggestion. When ordering food in China, first ask the waiter whether the food is spicy or not, and then choose different spiciness levels according to your own preferences, because the spiciness of food in many areas of China is unacceptable to Westerners. Maybe there are many foods from different regions in a city, and people who don't understand Chinese may not know whether the food in the store is spicy or not.
Chinese food seems interesting, have to try .
There is so much to try, I think there’s something for everyone
you can eat different food everyday in just 2 or 3 Medium-sized cities

Rice + water === is white porridge, which has the effect of clearing the stomach
0:32 the liquid in the first container is soy milk, and 0:50 the packed beverage as well. We usually drink it for breakfast, and l'd like having a Youtiao (deep fried dough stick) that I can soak into soy milk.
since many people , especially those got diabetes, prefer no-sugar meals, restaurants often provide sugar aside that you can add it as your wish.
Traditional Chinese breakfast includes soy milk, milk, porridge
Thanks for sharing! We saw it in the family mart, there are soooo many milks offered

There are usually good restaurants on the top two floors of shopping malls in China, and B1 or B2 are good snacks. The food streets you go to are only for tourists.

The type of dumping with soup you were looking for is called “sheng jian”, it’s fried in the bottom. Actually you just missed it ta 15:09 of this video. “Xiao long bao” is the small one you tried without soup.
Thanks for sharing!
Not really. Its called Guan Tang Bao
Actually soup dumplings are Guan Tang Bao, Shengjian Bao could have liquid inside, not too much.

Hi, bros, I noticed that you are eating snacks now, not daily Chinese meals. You can go to restaurants, where there are meat, fish, poultry, vegetables, etc., and fried, stewed, baked, steamed and cooked in different ways, and usually staples such as rice and noodles are not pre-mixed with dishes. Now most Chinese restaurants have pictures or physical samples to show what dishes they have, so you can find a richer and more delicious Chinese food. This is the real essence of Chinese food.
If you're going to Beijing and want to visit famous attractions like the Forbidden City and the Imperial Palace, make sure to book in advance; it's impossible to get in on the same day.
Welcome to Shanghai, China. The prices in Shanghai are relatively high. The Stinky tofu in your last show was good, but not bad. In fact, I also recommend you go to Guangzhou and Foshan, where you can experience the Cantonese morning tea culture and watch the lion dance. The consumption there is relatively cheaper, and the people there are more hospitable. I am currently in Hangzhou, the city next to Shanghai, and I will be returning to Foshan soon. If there is a chance to come to Guangzhou, I am willing to take you to play there. Also, as a blogger, can I add you as a Twitter friend? I would like to exchange ideas about German culture with you.
There are two types of Xiao Long Bao, one has soup with very thin skin, one doesn’t have soup with fluffy skin, which can be differentiated very easily.
你说的有汤的是灌汤包,小笼包是没有汤的
Enjoy watching your videos. So funny . You guys are adventurous enough to try even the most typical Chinese dishes.😅 😮👍
We try everything!!!
So far just street snacks.
Welcome to China, guys, enjoy
Thank you !
What you should have asked is Guan Tang Bao, and you got exactly what you asked for, Xiao long bao.
Fermented tofu, like cheese. Its tofu cheese for you
incredible!!! :)))
Thanks!
When you come to Beijing, you must taste Beijing roast duck. It’s really good. I recommend you go to Quanjude Roast Duck, because the restaurant has more than 100 years history.

Welcome their German bloggers to travel to China. Regarding the issue in your video that many people in this place do not speak English, the last place the two bloggers traveled to was India, where English-speaking people were everywhere. Britain was in 1858 The colonial areas established in the Indian subcontinent by 1947 included present-day India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Myanmar. Don’t you know this piece of history? For China, we have our own language and culture, which have not changed since ancient times. We also have many people who can speak English. For those who do not speak English, they do not need it. Please do not look at others with colored glasses. Life. Of course, I hope that the two bloggers will have a happy trip in China, because we are a peace-loving and hospitable nation, and all 56 ethnic groups welcome guests.
認同你的觀點
Love you guys, you are so funny. By the way, the best chinese food is served in big restaurant with round tables for 10 people, with a whole set of 18 dishes or so. And normally we only eat them when there's an company event or something. it's hard for you two to reach to this scale of one meal. There are a lot of high end chinese restaurant in shanghai, along the bond. They are expensive (~500rmb each person) but even we chinese are shocked by how delicious and creative the food they can make, and foreigners friendly.
Interesting! We try as much as possible 😋
Nice food
The black tofu is the famous food from my hometown Changsha! Glad you made it. And I do believe the price was overcharged. 😂😂
Crazy price 😅
There are many types of Chinese food, and the way of eating them is different in every place. There are dozens of breakfast options. There are also 8 major cuisines. There are hundreds of types of food in each cuisine.Don’t eat in tourist areas, eat somewhere where there are many locals.
So the rice and water you had for breakfast is kanjee or konjee..... you get it all over south and east asia. in south India its very popular breakfast ..... but we add curd n other seasonings to the fermented rice and water. and yes it is also had for breakfast. its very healthy and delicious but less common in metro cities.
When u guys in beijing, Plz go try the Fu Hua Zhai(富华斋),That's a high quality and tradition desserts store.
Thanks for sharing!

Hi guys, i like your video, the positive vibes! By the way, at breakfast, congee usually comes with pickles or sugar. but you need to add sugar by yourself. I think you just need to ask the restaurant about sugar or pickles.
Thanks we appreciate it!

Greetings to Bangalore 👍🏼
I am Vietnamese but also knew that Tsingtao beer was founded by German in 1903 😂
You also have it there ?
13:40 There are two types of Xiong Long Bao, one with soup and one without soup.
Personally, I like the ones without soup.
Xiao Long Bao only means bao in a small steamer. If you want specifically the one with soup, you can ask for Xiao Long Tang Bao.
Do you know why there are tens of thousands of types of food in China? Because everyone has different tastes, there is no need to force a certain type of food. Chinese cuisine is free, and if you like it, you just like it. If you don't like it, you can simply say it.Moreover, the high-end cuisine in real China is not cheap. Each of the eight major Chinese cuisines offers hundreds of dishes, and street snacks are not included.
Yeah the selection is definitely huge
