Radio bird man just had their last gig, it’s was 50 years since they formed. The guitarist deniz tek is an amazing guy. A fighter pilot in the navy and a flight surgeon. Call sign ICE MAN.
"Descend into the Maelstrom" by these guys is one of my all-time favorites. I would luv to watch you do a review on it please. Or Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs "Mama" live on GTK. that is some pretty early, great, Aussie rock, I am sure you will enjoy.
If you enjoyed this, check out their "Hand of Law" and "Descent into the Maelstrom" , both epic rockers. Lotsa good Antipodean bands; try also "Leilani" by The Hoodoo Gurus, "Move a Little Closer" by The Screaming Tribesmen, "Slave Girl" by The Lime Spiders, "No Time" and "Kissinn' Cousins" by The Saints, "How Is the Air Up There" by The La De Da's...
Your reaction to Dave Warner doing Convict Streak is a must , today's woke brigade would cancel this song in a heart beat , I will subscribe if you do this one , cheers mate .
Dude don't give up hope on rock and roll there are heaps of rocking bands being played on community stations such as 4 ZZZ in Australia you just have to go away from the commercial shit that is being fed to the masses open your ears to the new music it's fine
Awesome man....radio birdman rule
Great song awesome band loved em then and still love em now
Birdman's 80's ode to Hawaii Five O classic
THE BEST AUSTRALIAN BAND EVER
I used to go see this band at the Oxford Tavern back in the 70`s great pub band. The singer is from the US.
No lead guitarist Dennis Tek

They were an Australian Band from Sydney but the lead guitarist was a US citizen who was attending University in Sydney at the time.
Saw them dozens of times in Sydney 🤩
Saw them ‘round ‘77. Great concert.

Never knew they were Australian.
Singer is Australian, Base guitarist and drummer too..
Guitars are a Canadian and an American. …… perfect combination
They were a Sydney (au) punk band from the 70s.
AC/DC are still playing rock and roll after all these years But I would guess they wouldn't be your thing. But that's ok everyone to there own.
there is AC/DC and AC/DC with Bon Scot on bagpipes
