I remember the ads on TV, but I don't remember anyone having one. We all had 48k, C64 and Atari's, until the move powerful computers and consoles appeared.
@@JustJamie1983 I found about the CPC I think only 2-3 kids had that in the year group. And I remember later that only one kid had the sam coupe when we all move up to STs and Amigas.
Thanks for the Video! I am currently trying to get openmsx working with my machine of my childhoof the svi-328. I can load the games, but i am having trouble with the controller. Sometimes i cannot select the game Mode, which are numbers 1-6. If i get passed this, i have a Problem with the gamepad i am using. In General it wirks, but it always is giving input moving left, even if i press Nothing. By the way i am running it on batocera.
@@JustJamie1983 i just realized, that it is related to pressing the NORTH button on my gamepad (i tried 3 different ones, always the same problem on controller 1) When i press NORTH it totally bugs out and i cannot press 1.-6 onkeyboard anymore and it is always giving the LEFT input. Is there a way to fix that? It sucks if you accidently press the NORTH button and have to restart everything. Sorry had to correct my reply. NORTH Button not UP is the problem. NORTH button being the upper button of the 4 buttons on the right side (NOT the Dpad UP).

Yup same here, most kids had Spectrums, Amstrad CPC or the C64.
