RIP Keith Jenkin. My husband was a proud Cornishman from Mousehole and loved this song. We played it at his funeral and it always chokes me up. We used to sing it at pubs in the Fifties/Sixties when singing would just start out of nowhere and everyone joined in.
I love this song I come across it when my mother sadly passed away earlier this year and I now thinking about playing when we take her home and put her ashes out at sea. So she can travel to Cornwall.
This is enough to pull on the heart strings of any true Cornishperson.
