There's strategy to it
As he said, 5up *did* get the perfect Arsonist run, with none of the people he doused dying. I am not convinced it is a good role, seems too much luck based.
yeah, i think they’ve only had two arsonist wins in this lobby - 5up, and then hafu, who was in a final 2 with steve, the glitch (the glitch needs to be the last man standing, so the game continued after a kill on 3), and voted herself to give steve the win because he deserved it, but steve voted himself and so hafu just doused and killed steve for her arsonist win. i like that there’s not been many arsonist victories, tbh - it would be way too op otherwise.

That is such a beautiful arsonist run damn, 5up is so good that he not only can make sure he doesnt die, and he can predict who is not going to die and target them.
I like how 5up injects strategy into any role, arsonist is a pretty luck-based role, but as he said - no need to douse Hafu, Steve, Dk first round because high chance they will get killed regardless. Then he douses koji because he was likely impostor.
Imaging being Jester and getting close to everyone on the map so that they beleive you're the Arsonist and get voted out but win since you're the Jester
I like how Town of Impostors handles arsonist dousing more, you have to stand really really close to them continuously for 5 seconds. Makes it a little trickier and a little more fun
That was basically a perfect storm of a game for 5up. None of the doused people died I believe, and when he had just one more left, the assassin took her out of the game and basically handed him the win. Was fun to watch live as well.
If only there were "immune" rolls like in town of salem, that could lead to some very interesting interactions, and with the fact that among us will be getting 15 player soon that leaves even more room for unique rolls to be mixed in

But Koji just made the assumption based on that conversation, which was admittedly weird, but there were plenty of explanations. I honestly want to see Koji’s perspective and have him explain it. Koji’s a legend for that.

Arsonist can die to the Imposters/Glitch etc., and all the games I see with Arsonist it takes a lot of effort for them to win. There's a large chance of them dying, or all their targets get killed early. There is a 5-10% chance of an Arsonist winning, it is very hard and luck based. Like a harder Glitch, since their douse cooldown is very high.
A cool role would be someone who is on the imposter team but cannot kill, vent or sabotage and does not know who the imposters are but if the imposters win, that person wins too. So they try to find out who the imposters are and then try to defend them and clear them.
Well, the rule against voice chat is for PUBLIC lobbies, because not everyone will have it and people can use it to share info at times they shouldn't or share it privately without leaving a visible whisper. In a private lobby of just content creators who are ALL using it in a single public call for daytime chat, it shouldn't be an issue. Due to dead, maf, coven, vampires and Jailor having different private chats at night, no-one can do voice chat at night, though (for groups other than dead, they can't get solo voice chat acess because that would make them too obvious, and dead and vamp also have the issue of Medium/Vampire Hunter being able to see (and for medium, talk) with them while the former can't jump in on voice chat due to them being alive making things too obvious (and making room for cheating) and the latter gets to do so without the vamps knowing. Oh, and both Jailor and medium get to be secret when chatting.

I feel like the biggest reason they've been finding these games more chaotic than deductive so far, is that they have roles set to either 0, 50 or 100% (which obviously leaves a lot of roles turned off and some guaranteed). I feel like even if they keep max number of neutral roles to 2 and same for max crew roles (though I feel like it should be close to 4 if it isn't already), that they should turn on a lot of the roles - Mayor, TimeLord, Snitch, Seer, Shifter, Glitch, Swooper etc - at a range of percentages (probably based on how much they enjoy each role), so there is more of a random variety each game and it will give them more to try and figure out in the game.
Arsonist is a good counter to Morphling honestly, or not counter per se but it makes morphling play more complicated since you can't really just sample someone at random 'lest you get doused.
