    Dude I decided about a month ago to make my first video game a pixel game, and during my planning phase I decided that drawing pixels over reference video would be best as I can’t really animate too well by imagination. This video explains exactly what I need to get started and I truly appreciate this! Subscribed!

    Absolutely amazing and very inspiring! I did not forget how well detailed the animations of Prince of Persia, Flashback and Out of this world were made back in the 90's. These amazing games will remain in our hearths forever because they were so innovative.

    vov. This is better than majority of videos about game art. And this is also educational while being entertaining. I am the person who gets annoyed when people start talking about history instead of teaching me what i came for, but this is really good.

    Usually I'm not such a big fan of rotoscoping, as it can make the animation appear stiff and tedious like in Prince of Persia. But I think you did a really good job because it looks way smoother. Good job man. Can't wait to play it once it's done.

    This is such a good tutorial. I actually remember seeing this in 2017; I remember this genuinely helped a lot, 2017 was when I started to get good at pixel art. _(also when I started watching tutorials- what a coincidence!)._

    Pretty cool video! Now I'm curious about your game too, so I'm off to checking it out.
    Also, there has to be a more convenient way to rotoscope though. When you started copying and pasting each individual frame I immediately went NOPE. I wish I had your patience!

    • @GamebangzDaughtcom
      @GamebangzDaughtcom 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Patience is required for any form of art - you will develop more with time if you stick with it. (it being your art, this isn't a sarcastic comment)
