Great vid once again. My biggest fear (not so long ago) was public speaking too. Absolutely shook at the thought of doing it and felt the panic set in every time I had to get up and speak. The only way I’ve been able to deal with it, is simple - just do it! Once something becomes your normal it no longer becomes something you fear the thought of doing. I have the army to thank for that too since I joined recently. I have a feeling your channel will blow up soon - great messages and ally production.
Great advice and enjoying your videos. Your journey of building organic confidence in front of the shows and I have to say you come across very genuine and authentic on your channel.
Great video Simon, I totally agree with you. Everyone knows what they fear most but few take the steps towards it. I think with practice and regular exposure most things become second nature and the experience is rewarding to our belief systems.💯👊
Public speaking used to scare the hell out of me. Never thought I'd be a good speaker. Got good by doing it lots. But even now, if there's a big gap between when i talk i still get nerves.
For sure. I learned not to ignore the fear/anxiety feelings, and to instead use them as a tool to focus my body and mind. I say to myself "these feelings are good. They are telling me this is important and it's an opportunity for me to show others what I can do"
I can't imagine how difficult it is. I sound a lil mad but in my life I want to experience the hardship of SF selection, realism max no interest in being in military. I would love to prepare for something at extreme levels of endurance and honing skills. Mad stuff to most when I really look into it but the UK special forces is in my opinion incredible. Way beyond the spectrum of understanding and reality and no other way to understand it than personal experience. Hats off to you and the soldiers still serving.
This channel is helping a lot of people all around the world. I'm from Ethiopia. Thank you sir🙏🙏

You've hit the nail on the head - you have to find a way to step towards the fear you feel. That is the only way to make progress.

I don't think the fear ever goes completely, but you learn to handle it so that you can still perform.
