What is the name of God we should repeat?
Choose the name of a beloved deity, according to your beliefs and tendency. It's the focus and intention behind the repetition that is important. If you have received a mantra from a self-realized master, then repeat that constantly.
God has no name, nor a need for one. We are all it's imprinted consciousness expressing its self being physical.

Why to compare with other people? Comparison is obscurity!
They may have ' met' Neem Karoli Baba, but I have my doubts that they were true disciples. I can't see the translation into their lives.

Actually, "Ram Dass" (formerly Richard Alpert) was his most "famous" Western follower. Alpert wrote about Baba extensively in "Be Here Now" a 1971 classic that addressed a profound Western need at that time. Alpert was, along with his former Harvard colleague Tim Leary, an early proponent of using LSD to attain mystic/divine experience. One of the stories in the book is how after he told Baba about this Baba demanded that Alpert give him a bunch of acid tabs. He did so and Baba took them all at once...and never exhibited the slightest change of demeanor, perception, or attitude. Westerners (myself included) who'd had profound and powerful LSD trips found this to be astonishing. Some years later I realized through experimentation that if one set the intention and maintained it through the use of will force, it was absolutely possible for an "ordinary" unenlightened person to take a bunch of acid and hold it at bay, so to speak, and not allow it to affect one's perceptions or state. I'd never have tried that if I hadn't read about Baba's demonstration of it.
What superficialities is this so called saint saying."Detachmente is only possible through the grace of god." And if there is no God, who will do the detachmente? Buddha did not need any god. He said: Do it yourself
