When we see that our love for Baba is great and our inner understanding is growing to the depths of our true relationship with God, where do you see that our end is? Is there an end or is it the beginning to the great timeless state? I revere your wisdom. I thank you for your words of grace.

Hi Swamiji -- So great to see you after so many years, especially on Baba's lunar Samadhi! I will always remember you with great appreciation for your kindness to me; in '78 or '79, you suggested I move from the LA ashram to Ann Arbor, and on it went from there...with great respect and love, Nalini Cogswell

“Saying Om Namah Shivaya is better than anything else I could think.” 😂🤣 I’ve been there.

Hi Reverend Eslam - we normally translate "bhakti yoga" as meaning devotional yoga. Naturally the bhakti;s can be of service to their Guru! - but their spiritual path is one of worship and devotion. Of course all these terms are translated and therefore open to debate about interpretation. Regards, Stephen

Is "service" the most accurate translation for "karma yoga"?
Surely that word would be more applicable to "bhakti yoga" (selfless service to one's master/Master).

It seems to me that all types of yoga are interrelated. Being a "bhakti" I also did seva /selfless service and I also did study and physical asanas etc ... but my MAIN focus, my main "service" is Devotion itself. Hope that helps.
