      we took all breakfast cereals , fizzy drinks ( Soda's to our American cousins ) , seed oils and rice out of our house two years ago. If its not on the shelf , you cant cook it. My children eat fruit for breakfast or dont have breakfast. Maybe steak and eggs at the weekend. but cornflakes are in the bin. Surely its about time Kelloggs products came with a Health Warning? Imagine if we all understood the damage their products are doing to our children? Maybe if we can all reduce their revenue , they will start to improve how they make their products?

    • @liveineurope-bp6vd

      Sure if you want ... Non Alacaholic fatty liver disease, Diabetes, Heart Disease, Athroscolastic HDL plaqe build up that will break off and cause cardiac arrest or stroke. The other is it increases risk of cancer. If you want to die between the age of 45-60 years old, then be obese! IF you want to live from 60-80, heat healthy plant based foods. If you want to live 90-110 years old, then total plant based diet and exercise several days a week, never have obesity in your life span, eat 80% of your daily intake...it your choice.

      @ Don’t be silly. If I want to become obese I can shovel takeaway ultra processed crap down my gullet for a few months. Obesity is directly related to gluttony and a sedentary lifestyle. To see a huge monster in the 1970’s was extremely rare.

    'This program is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition' .
    Yes i get the disclaimer required by TH-cam. But the reality is main stream medical advice is part of the problem, not the solution. They are legalised drug pushers. Often preferring to write a prescription ( symptom management ) rather than change the patients lifestyle. 70% of 60 year old Americans are on at least 2 medications. My father is almost 80 , lives in the UK , and has been on a diabetes medication for 27 years. A disease that can be reversed through lifestyle changes. Medicine for wrong diet. We are all nuts.....

  • @sarahsnowe
    @sarahsnowe 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

    Obesity is not a disease. It's a condition which is entirely preventable or reversible by knowledge and self-discipline. (Of course, it doesn't help that politicians are in the pockets of Big Food---though you can't really call its products "food.") Root vegetables, potatoes, veggies like cabbage, and lentils/beans are cheap (and tasty if you know how to cook; if you don't, learn). If you live in a food desert, save gas money by getting together with others to drive to a place that sells real food, or form a food co-op, buy bulk, and divvy it up.

    Stop saying... contact your medical provider. The lady said- that her medical provider was basically clueless.
    Going to them - is why we are in the mess we are in.
    They are just pill, lotion and powder.... sellers for the pharmaceutical companies.
    We have simply LOST touch with the farm to fork principle, and have acquiesced that part to the food manufactures.

    In the mean time Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan will be ending ALL weight loss coverage after Jan 1 2025. All prescriptions including existing patients will no longer be covered. Their letter basically said that if people continue to address their obesity medically that it would bankrupt the insurance companies. Too many people are starting to want to not die I guess. With the epidemic we see all insurance should be mandated to cover obese people trying to address their weight. They can take the money from the heart meds, insulin, and blood pressure meds that will significantly decrease as people get heathier. The powers that be including the insurance companies do not want us getting healthy.

    • @liveineurope-bp6vd
      @liveineurope-bp6vd 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sooo FRUCTOSE in Can Sugar and Corn Sugar POISONS the mitochondria...it inhibits the processing of Glucose. That builds up in the blood stream, raising insulin levels, and high insulane PREVENTS the release of the fat Lips into the blood stream. NO MATTER WHAT LEVEL of exercise, its the HFCS/SUGAR and high processed foods that causes most of the obesity and diseases.

    • @felipearbustopotd
      @felipearbustopotd 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@littlebearsparty4323 I thought at one time that infant formula would be a good substitute for a mass gainer / whey powder option - I was totally wrong. As I was reading the warning label, my eyes felt like they were on stalks - I could not believe the STUFF in there - what made me really gasp was that - this product was meant for infants - good grief.
      The better option would be a, full fat dried milk powder, topped up with a multi vitamin dissolvable tablet.
      If it has a nutritional / ingredients label - the latter more important, it would be an dereliction of harm to ones self, to not read it and act accordingly.

    If what you were saying was true, then everybody would be fat, but only about half the population is overweight or obese. Half the population eats whatever they want, including sweets and junk food, and does not gain weight. Documented scientific research has proven this. Dietary excess is NOT the cause of obesity. Whatever makes fat people fat, it is something other than eating too much or eating the wrong types of foods
