I hate the whole loud = scary bit. A lot of ARGs and "scary" yt video makers bank on their viewers being scared because they threw in a screamer. Which is why series that actually take time into inputting scary concepts are that much more impressive.

Only one who does the editing and wording well with a clear analysis is Nexpo but his videos are also very long so you know he's trying to balance all of that. the first poochee and pansy was the first jumpscare i've ever genuinely been scared by. i was in middle school and found it on some long-dead paranormal imageboard that i miss dearly. i kept up with it for a while but never had the attention span for ARG stuff sadly. it still holds a very special place in my heart 💕

I like this series, I love spooky videos, ARGs, and other horror content, so it's so cool to find new topics - your videos always show me videos/topics I've never heard of before and I love it! I like how clear you are too and explain topics concisely and thoroughly, and provide good research! I would mention that the videos would benefit from different sound editing, though. Some clips, particularly some of the youtube clips from the Sonic topic, are a lot louder than others, whilst some of your narration and some other clips are a lot quieter, causing watchers to either have to constantly be messing with their computer audio, or be overwhelmed by loud sudden clips a lot which is really off putting. Otherwise, I really love your editing - again, it's clear and shows the right level of information in replaying topic clips, and providing interesting visuals and a good mix of your narration and audio straight from the topics. Can't wait for the next video!

When it played, it showed a scrolling image of the a symbol plastering the bright red background. The sound was absolutely nuts, with a chirpy-like laugh devoling into a scream and booming noises. I'm not entirely sure what else happened next, and I haven't been able to find it again. Still, I can confidently say that that particular video was very cursed.

The guy somehow found VHS footage on what he clearifies by the thumbnail to be of a Gameboy game, something that doesn't have any way to be recorded onto VHS since the Gameboy doesn't have a Video output. EDIT: And no neither is it played on a SNES using that Super Gameboy cartridge cause otherwise it would still show a frame around the gameplay. And the guy who uploaded does not mention any editing done to crop out that either. I feel like the guy who made that Pokémon Analogue Horror was just really inspired by TMK and was just way too eager to start a AH of his own without thinking too much about the material he was going to use.

Fun fact: for Pokemon Cyan, it's okay that there are gen 2 sprites, in story. It's either this is a rom hack, or that they're just playing gold and silver on a gameboy, which does work.
What doesn't make sense though is that its a Gameboy game somehow being recorded onto VHS. Which as far as I remember is impossible since the Gameboy has no video output to do something like that with. Nor is it being played on a Super Gameboy cartridge for the SNES since otherwise it would show a decorative frame around it that cannot be removed;

The Mandela Catalogue also has since moved on from tape to non-analog format, this is more so to fit the correct timeline in the series going from the 90s to mid and late 2000s.

That video with the red face that was supposedly cursed, it did give the side affects that it said it did. I don’t know how or why, but it made me want to rip out my eyes. If I finished that video, I probably would’ve.
I feel like Poochee and Pansy has a lot of potential, but it needs to let its creativity flow, stop relying on jumpscares, and put a bit more finesse in the sound sound design instead of being jarring so much the time. Startling and ear-blasting are not what I consider truly scary. Some of those overamplified and sharply distorted parts gave me very unpleasant ASMR jolts and I had to take my headphones off. LOL However, it does do a fantastic job of creating deep terror by cleverly pairing those apocalyptic concepts and psychologically disturbing twists with trippy, f---ed up, fever-dreamy visuals and sounds. I gotta say it gets under my skin.

I have yume 2kki on my steam library, was planning on making a video of it as long as youtube or susan wajarjarbinks would stop giving me youtube strikes and after my pc got repaired it is now 10x slower than before. around a day ago i was on kbh games playing a sonic game and i really can't play one of those old style games without being completely horrified, even if its normal. i never played them when i was little so i don't have that nostalgia blocking that fear, but if there's ever a sa2.exe game, i would probably be terrified of that game too despite my strong nostalgia

Fun fact: for Pokemon Cyan, it's okay that there are gen 2 sprites, in story. It's either this is a rom hack, or that they're just playing gold and silver on a gameboy, which does work.
What doesn't make sense though is that its a Gameboy game somehow being recorded onto VHS. Which as far as I remember is impossible since the Gameboy has no video output to do something like that with. Nor is it being played on a Super Gameboy cartridge for the SNES since otherwise it would show a decorative frame around it that cannot be removed;

The Mandela Catalogue also has since moved on from tape to non-analog format, this is more so to fit the correct timeline in the series going from the 90s to mid and late 2000s.

I feel like Poochee and Pansy has a lot of potential, but it needs to let its creativity flow, stop relying on jumpscares, and put a bit more finesse in the sound sound design instead of being jarring so much the time. Startling and ear-blasting are not what I consider truly scary. Some of those overamplified and sharply distorted parts gave me very unpleasant ASMR jolts and I had to take my headphones off. LOL
However, it does do a fantastic job of creating deep terror by cleverly pairing those apocalyptic concepts and psychologically disturbing twists with trippy, f---ed up, fever-dreamy visuals and sounds. I gotta say it gets under my skin.

around a day ago i was on kbh games playing a sonic game and i really can't play one of those old style games without being completely horrified, even if its normal. i never played them when i was little so i don't have that nostalgia blocking that fear, but if there's ever a sa2.exe game, i would probably be terrified of that game too despite my strong nostalgia
