- Here's a Eurobeat Remix I did for fun of the fantastic Corneria theme from Star Fox on the SNES.
This is just a fan tribute, I don't own the original composition.

Fun Fact: Spaceships such as the Arwing would be drifting all the time due to how spaceflight works, which makes Eurobeat the best fitting music style for any game involving piloting a spaceship or fighter, including Kerbal Space Program and of course, the entirety of the Star Fox franchise.
Shadows of Lylat was going to simulate space flight. But it was cancelled. Right now, the closest is Elite Dangerous.

The mod is actually back! Someone picked up the where Shadows of Lylat left off and is making Star Fox: Event Horizon. The dev got original voice actress of Krystal, Estelle Ellis and recently got the original VA of Star Fox 64 Wolf O'Donnel and Bill Grey, Jock Blaney.

Rexcor Jungmir I remember mentioning something on the subreddit about how nice it would be to have entirely different leagues, i.e. starts you off on a small track on planet, to a bigger track, to the entire planet, to planet to planet, to the entire sector and back; all the while, you and other racers shoot at each other to sabotage each other's position, WHILE other Outlaws try to intercept friendly racers during planet and space races to cheat one of their own members to first place.
The massive sector race is one shot, one go, all in one move, and is actually pretty difficult as it should be; "Racing for Atlas", as one would call it. I so hope they do something like that. Seamless launch pads that make you do a small flip before blasting you off into space, the drop-drifting onto a planet surface, there's a lot of potential to make it really nice and satisfying. The space part is most concerning though, like, to make it so it's not just blasting through space out of hyperdrive while doing loops here, evasions here and there. Hyperdrive racing could be cool though.
(I'm thinking of doing a faux makeup of what it could look like, but I'd need two players and more than 30 seconds to capture a clip... the dual screen part messes it up most of all though)

The first verse of each loop sounds like something made by M.O.V.E, which is to say, it sounds like something straight out of the Initial-D soundtrack. Always loved the high-energy, high octane sound of the Eurobeat/J-Pop fusion genre.

I just came back to this on a music playlist after forgetting just how awesome this version of the song is... it's like I'm hearing it for the first time all over again :D
I can see the anime scene in my head Fox in the thumbnail with stars blazing past then cut to a long shot of him charging into Venom’s atmosphere. The arwing red hot on entry as he pulls a massive somersault then blasts away gloriously, then descends into a canyon and does a sick barrel roll to avoid countless pillars all while increasing the power of his thrusters.
I’d love extended versions! I could easily listen to some of these for an hour straight!
