If I knew I wouldn't have asked, if you don't know just say so...don't turn it back on the guy that asked. We're is VA documentation on this subject. Once again if you don't know just say so or say nothing.
The VA messed my husband up with not one but 2 botched surgeries. He ended up in a coma almost died with no colon. No lawyer will touch it. Any advise?
Step dad, 80 years of age, enlisted infinity in USMC 62-66. 50% rating. Almost complete hearing loss due to being PMI (Primary Marksman Instructor) pre-Vietnam. Burn scars from White Phosphorous grenade mishap with a recruit who dropped grenade in training foxhole at Parris Island. 2 or 3 back surgeries, knee replacement, hip pain, problem with bone in shin, lack of balance, truly housebound, advanced dementia, cannot drive, cannot cook or make meals for himself, cannot organize his own medications, cannot do his own laundry, etc. My mom, a 3X cancer survivor, on a permanent feeding tube (cannot eat any other solid foods) is his primary caregiver. In addition to being on a feeding tube, she too is housebound and cannot drive due to neuropathy. Is it possible for his rating to be increased to 70% to get him into a nursing home? Does he qualify for any financial benefit such as Aid and Attendance or being a Housebound person that might help them pay for his care in a nursing home? Or does he qualify for any Special Monthly Compensation at just a current 50% VA rating? Lastly, is it possible for him to apply for a temporary 100% disability? And being over 75 years of age, can any of these claim submissions be expedited. He is located in zip code 03044, Fremont, NH. Thank you.
What about a veteran that has his voice box taken our due to cancer and can not communicate with people at the store or any services with his wife to talk for him.. he has head and neck cancer from agent orange but va says he wasn't in right place

Sounds like a medical malpractce claim but you have to find a lawyer specializing in VA medical malpractice claims.

This is a nexus issue and so you will have to dig deeper into where your husband was stationed and what was stored or transported through his base
Do I qualify to complete stomach removal for cancer from gulf war.
Can you hire your spouse to be your helper?
My spouse is my aid and attendant
He served in subic bay korea and okinawa and knows he was exposed what can he do
You need to get more information as to what was stroed or transported through this base to establish a nexus.
Look into the PACT act
