Hi Robert Grettins from Germany the Sound of the Scania is very good for the normal exhaust i must say but the Sound of my dads new Volvo Fh16 650 timbertruck is also nice the swedish trucks are the BEST!!!!!!

In fact, this truck would be loaded with at least 50 cubic meters. In such conditions, since fresh wood is very heavy, the truck will work with constant overload. For example, in Russia, they load up to the full height of the truck 4 meters. And also mainly wood with a length of 6 meters.
I apologize if I didn't write it clearly, because without proper practice, I have to use an online translator from Russian to English.
In Sweden the penalty fee for overload is very high. So usually they just load fast up to max load that's it.
But for short transports on roads with less chance of controls they fill the truck up like you say in Siberia.

Volvo hi-lift... we called them hotlips.. terrible machine, we preferred the normal boom 100-0, hotlips was gone, no-one wanted to drive it. Of course it is a bit better on unloading trucks, but we had 330 with kalmar to do that. It lifted the whole bunch at once so 3 lifts for truck.

Thanks, yes he is good, they have 6x6, but that is not necessary, 6x4 is good enough =).
And 6x6 is heavyer then 6x4 so less timber on truck = less money

The felling is replanted and the timber layer in the Swedish woods in general are increasing and are now larger than in the 1920:s despite substantially higher numbers of felling. The forestry are owned by 50% companies and 50% private persons, why should they bite the hand that feeds them? Make yourself a favour by study some sustainable forestry! I think it will work in your country too!

Det vet jag inte säkert, kan ju hända att dom 8 axlade blir lite lättare och kan lasta mer därför kanske, men jag tycker jag ser ganska mycket 5 axliga släp här där jag bor i alla fall =).
5 axliga släp behövs väl bara om man kan köra 74 ton nästan hela tiden, så fort du kör på en 64 ton väg så förlorar du lite lastvikt mot en 4 axlare...
