Seems like Canadian from that particular city knows a lot about India. But here in the US most of the people are still confused whether the Indians are the native one or the one from India which they know absolutely nothing about.
Probably because Canada has a smaller population and despite the country being large, most people only reside in certain parts of the country and there's a fairly large Indian ( South Asian in general) population, especially in certain parts of the country. Whereas due to larger population in general in the US, Indians are more spread out as well even though technically there's more Indians in the US than Canada

What should I understand from this? Is this false info? And the second one is in Toronto, he has never subjected to racism like the above.. Although he experienced a few isolated events..
