You certainly don't know how grandly ganapati festival is celebrated in Hyderabad,Telangana. It's massive. For every street there is atleast one ganapati idol. It's amazing. It is celebrated almost 13 days. My dad used to take me around the city to visit all Ganesh idols. Even though how much visited it won't amount to 1 percent of them❤❤❤❤
It is one of my favourite festivals...the lights, the music, the modaks, the pandals, the dekhave, the mood of happiness everywhere the entire 10 Days is just so endearing

I’m an Indian from the south, we have a different way of celebrating Ganapathy’s birthday. It is a little more calm, devotional songs and stuff. I really love how it is done in other states, especially northern states, the scale of celebration is higher with music, dance and songs, it’s amazing. ❤

Maharashtrians really include EVERYONE in their festivities. I've never felt I'm not a part of their family during these celebrations.
