Very nice. I purchased a VX-7R then a VX-8R over 15 years ago and they are still my go-to radios for local ARES events. Both are rugged and waterproof (submersible). I've dropped them by accident several times over the years and they still work flawlessly. I recently added a FT5DR just so I can do Fusion as my local club has a weekly net for that.
Very nice radio! I got one new a long time ago back in the days I did a lot of bicycle touring, still have it. Our group of riders was 80% hams, and this was a very nice radio for keeping track of our group and also not weighing down the bike. It was also good for listening to the NWS while out riding and camping on the route.
Love it. I had a VX-1 when they first came out, but sadly it developed a fault just after the warranty expired and the repair centre basically refused to repair it and I never got it back. :(

Looks like a fun radio!
Nice work Jeem 👍
I got an ICOM IC-32AT from an estate sale last fall and I love using it. It works and still looks great after 30+ years.
I recently found some old accessories for my long gone IC32AT. It was a great radio!

Yeah, like a lot of stuff, after a while the manufacturers drop support. Annoying for sure!
Small radios are really cool. Remembering the menu is bu.mer if we don't use the radios everyday. Still those radios are classic
Now I like the size it would be great for a Shtf radio in the vehicle
Amazing what happens when you spend your R&D money on filters instead of useless flashlights.
