Good job explaining the replacement so well. Made it simple to follow, even for a brain dead old fella like me. I've done this numerous times, but I always watch one of these videos, just to make sure I haven't forgotten anything. Cheers
Thank you! Bleeder screw is stripped on my 2012 acadia slt and I need to do a brake fluid flush. I've opted to just swap calipers instead. Bought all 4 but really hope all I need to do is the back two. Currently not planning on doing pads or rotors
I struggled for awhile as well getting the brake pads seated on my acadia until I learned to NOT tighten the bolts down all the way until the pads are seated. Start the bolts, seat the pads and then tighten the bolts down all the way.
Were you having any steering wheel vibration at highway speeds? I had a few guys say they "fixed" their's after swapping out for new brakes and calipers.
These struggles are REAL! Kudos to you for helping others through it and with one hand my man! Ha! Thanks for going through this and posting!
Any time! Nowadays we replaced this vehicle all together but yes what a pain the GMC Acadia is!

Thanks man.
You bet!
Do the slide pins on the new caliper come pre-greased?
Normally, yes, but always good to check

No vibrations that I know of. For that, I would investigate all joints and bushings and check for excessive wear or possible issues with tires/wheels
Thank you bro
Anytime!
