So the lost guy in this video was also present in "Missing Persons" video , it's the same team. Go back to that video and notice how at the start there are 4 guys , but only arrive 3 at the fungus dead body. The lost guy got into a null zone and no clipped into another point back in time. He catches the fungus in that theatre area and ends up dying because of it. This is why they arrive at 3 and the corpse they see is actually the 4th member that was dead in the "past". They then study the fungus and it probably infects the real world wich is why "if anybody , blame him" . Plus he might be the one to transform into the monster. The disturbing part is that in the real world , 2/29/90 nnever existed . And the crew members never notice that a guy is missing.

The motion capture cameras video shows the scientists setting up a safe observation room around the Threshold Point. The beginning of the Lost Guy video is before they began that construction. At the end, he comes across the completed safe room. The Null Zone teleported him into the future while maintaining his position in space. He then wandered around until he regained his bearings, and returned to the Threshold Point, where he discovered the Safe Room that had been built during his "glitch" in the Null Zone.
Its really interesting how at 9:00 the guy gets separated. It seems he enters an area closer to the real world, hearing crowds of people before getting put back in the backrooms where his comrades were gone. Amazing job, Kane Edit: wow 500 likes lol
You're right, maybe there was a glitch in that null zone where he could've got out by pushing a wall or something, but he ofc didn't know it. But then he didn't got lost because he found the work area and if he was infected it's best that he didn't reach to the real world

I do think he has been somehow infected by the fungus, which would explain why the alarms sounded when he entered although he knew the code or touch Id of the door
The backrooms is one of the few new things like this that really get me. Slenderman was scary back in the day, Sirenhead wasn't scary at all, but THIS terrifies me. The idea of that endless constantly shifting space that you can just get trapped in alone until something gets you or you die of dehydration in that GOD AWFUL YELLOW. Good GOD I hate yellow, that is like... hell. I hope this guy that got lost'll be okay though as unlikely as it might be, I get a good vibe from his voice.
I'm literally terrified because I feel like this can happen even tho it fake just thinking about being in a maze of yellow and if we insert the fandom backrooms with it you have so many possibilities but as you go further and further you'll experience more death and you experience more monster and you become so stressful you'll died either by a monster or turn to a wretch. The main thing about Floor 0 in the Backroom is that you are never able to find another person. You can find other survivors in the other Floors, but it only you in Floor 0 until you get out. This video adds to the fact that they can willingly enter Level 0 as a group, but once separate, they’re separate for good unless they reunite on a new floor.
There isn’t any levels in Kane’s backrooms canon. It’s more like areas, because the farther you walk forward in the area, the closer you are back to the yellow hallways. If you don’t believe me, Kane said himself he won’t feature levels or wiki.
I have a theory regarding everything so far. Firstly, this fungus can infect and warp anyone's perception. Upon trying to retreat back to the Null Zone, The alarms sound, alerting everyone that one of them has been compromised. The area he likely got infected was that stadium area when he was inspecting the fungus. I also believe the reason they have to travel in 3's is because of that distortion that was caused by splitting up. Staying together will reduce the chance of getting killed, as from what we know, the back rooms can change to adapt almost instantly. Plus the red line will lead them back to a Null Zone, which is promised to keep them safe, regardless what the Back Rooms can do to distort their POV. The Null Zones, from my understanding, are zones that cannot change. Anything out of Null Zones is subject to change at any moment and can be altered to lure prey deeper into the backrooms. However, setting things up in Null Zones prevents any and all distortions from occurring. This is why the lab is well made and has all the resources needed, plus is in the same place. These distortions include audio and visual changes. The Fungus is what made that monster we saw in the first episode. They make more sentient and more hostile counterparts to what they obtain. Now, the Fungus's goal is to escape the back rooms and reach the outside. We know the Back rooms is a sentient being of some sort, aware of what is going on. There would be no reason the back rooms would of allowed him to return, unless it was intended. This last part is far fetched, but it's what I personally believe. Edit 1: I also believe the Back Rooms can use the memory of those it taints to recreate the rooms to their vision, replicating the memories and creating rooms based on such.
I think its a good theory, but the fungus was never mentioned in any of the other reports, and the guys clearly didn't know about it, which would be weird if it was something dangerous with alarms set for it
The backrooms I think is mostly unexplored, but there are labs and "checkpoints" for travelers, which would explain that room at the end which the person knew the door code/had touch Id access. Your theory COULD explain why that alarm sounded, but I think that the fungus would have been more known. Mabye the travelers were knew to the program, which would explain why the person separated and didn't follow protocols since he didn't stay in the group

The reason why they are wearing those suits cause the lore states that every 10 to 20 minutes, you will lose your mind more and more. With those suits, I think they are preventing their minds from getting lost. That also explains the red rope to lead them back to the real world
I think that the reason they have gas masks is that the back rooms are emitting some kind of gas/chemicals that make someone who breathes it in start to hallucinate and I think that the second video we found, the guy who got lost had a leak in his oxi tank and started to see/hear things even though his friends were right next to him. That fume is a liquid from the carpets called "carpet fluid" (that's the name it was given), it's a fluid that (if enters the body) will make you go insane, have delusions, Loss of direction, etc.

A- The scientists (other than this guy) are aware that following strange noises and other disruptions is a bad idea, and will get them separated. They may have been so focused on exploring and blocking out the noise that they didn’t notice the camera scientist standing there, and that’s when things went wrong. B- The other scientists were too far behind to hear the noise, so when camera scientist went to explore, the zone changed so the other scientists couldn’t see/hear into that area, and this one gets separated due to trying to explore too far without the others.
the briefcases they are carrying are actually for the storage of a oxygen tank way back during the cold war the concept was made as a easy way to portably carry extra air for exploration in places that has toxic air environment's allowing longer time to explore without having to come back for air.
When he got lost from his friends and he started panicking, it gave me flashbacks from when I was really young and how you would lose your parents in the grocery store, it was such a silly little fear that would freak you out but when you take in perspective, it’s honestly terrifying that you could just get lost and even though you knew you were safe you just starting panicking, I just can’t imagine what that guy would’ve been experiencing in his mind

It would be more interesting if the scriptwriters for it are actual experts in the actual backrooms lore. If that was the case it would be really, really interesting considering they would actually have pure ideas and not twist the idea.
A whole series would be better. With story, metting, chase, friend's sacrifice or making other friend. Metting levels where people lives here and don't want to leave. Or the MC tells someone and convince him to leave with him trying to find the exit. Finding the exit early in the serie but it's too hard to leave so they continue until finding the real exit. There is so much to do.
The concept of The Backrooms is most likely licenced under Creative Commons (like SCP). It's unlikely there will be a Netflix deal, not that it's a bad thing.
The red thread is literally that. It is something to keep them connected to the outside world within the Complex, so they don't get lost. Because they found nothing that works better than the good ol' red tape. The area with the foresty wallpaper is I think meant to be a mockery or reconstitution in the backrooms, of an actual wooded area in the real world. The house place looks like a lone farm in the middle of the woods, with farming tools outside, and a small axe propped next to a tree that should have been real, to cut it down for firewood.

There might be another universe trying to replicate Mars or something. The Backrooms is around 1/6 the size of the Universe. And all of the (almost) infinite levels are connected by the void of the blue channel.
I will break the ice for you, Ryan, there was a video you missed in the description of First Contact. I sum it up, it was basically saying that accessing the Backrooms caused a massive California earthquake.
The red thing the guy was holding was a really long red rope which was dragged throughout the Backrooms to know where they last travelled, since the Backrooms is a maze with repetitive yellow wallpapers and the absence of landmarks making it hard to pinpoint on where your location is.

Part of me has this sick twisted theory that the reason those observation rooms are there is that scientists are hoping people get lost in there so they can monitor how much the rooms change. Because when the guy reaches the room he seems almost confused and hesitates to open the door as if he didn't even know what it was. I like to think that these guys are sent out to explore the rooms but if one gets lost they also don't worry too much as it means more information on the rooms and how they shift. But that's just my wacky theory.
It's absolutely amazing how Kane does so well with these videos and the lore actually makes me want to watch more. I haven't been this excited for videos since Slender took over the internet. You're doing great with this reaction videos Ryan, keep up the good work!
I also have a theory: the backrooms was a technology generated thingy where they tried to create a storage to save the world from pollution but failed and went out of hand to create this distorted thing that isn't what they intended...the distortion of the backrooms was so harsh it interfered with reality itself to create noclip zones to capture people in an endless maze of mono yellow wallpaper
my theory: these distortions are hallucinations, the backrooms can generate weird voices to a person specifically and can drive them insane. To the point that everything they see, the monsters, they were all just an hallucination from going insane.
If i could just hop in and hop out of there, i would love to just stick my earbuds in and blare some music while i just walk around for about an hour. The thought of being watched, followed, or being left there to die is pretty scary but also quite peacful in a way, but this does make me look like a psycopath lol.

I think there’s some sort of fungus within the backrooms. The backrooms as a whole could be contaminated. The victim we saw covered in this fungus may have been the entity we saw in the first video. Maybe this fungus turns people into a host that reanimates them into an entity, spreading the infection throughtout. The text “if anybody blame him” possibly meaning this victim, since he was catalyst who spread it first
While there is a chance that the guy that was covered in fungus became the monster, i dont think he was necessarily the one that started it all or the one in the first video (referencing "if all, blame him"). Its totally possible that other people that have sucked into the backrooms have gotten the fungus earlier. I dont know much about backrooms lore, but its possible that theres more than 1 monster (unless lore states otherwise). If there is more than 1 monster, then multiple people that fell into the backrooms wouls have to be infected with the fungus in order to turn into the monster. For now, I will agree with Ryan that the guy that is being referred to is the CEO or creator of A-tech or whatever the company is. They were the ones that created the backrooms in the first place. For all I know, Kane Pixels might change everything with his next upload.
To anyone confused, the workers company “glitched out” because certain levels of the backrooms are non-linear. The room behind him changed and was sent away, and with it, his company. Normally, it would be impossible to enter level 0 as a group, as everyone is always separated, however the “portal” was able to pinpoint a single section of the backrooms.
I know this was before the recent presentation, but I can still debunk this. 1. He doesn’t call these yellow hallways levels, or any other place in his canon. Levels don’t exist. 2. It’s kinda obvious he time traveled when pitfalls came out.

It is a joke level on Broogli Discord. It is a nasty almost infinite place where there are like a billion toilets that stink like hell. You cant leave the level and you will die an hour after entering the level because of the smell.

Theory here! So for the fungus, there's an actual entity that can spread the fungus (called a crawler) but animals or other entitys can only catch it, but the the infected entitys can attack the humans who are in its presence and spread the fungus to them. Also there is this other entity called hounds, its literally a human but on all fours and acts like a hound ( hits the name hound) and looking at the dead body, it does look like a hound got hold of him and the fungus on the wall could be his blood after getting mauled by the hound and the fungus spreading to the blood on the wall. This would make more sense but only downside is that getting bitten by a hound you turn into a hound due to the virus that hounds carry. But we don't know if the body is fresh or old.
The fungus is actually a strain of mutated simple hay bacillus. The name of this monster isn’t “hound” as Kane doesn’t pull from previously established canons. It’s actually named bacteria, due to its heavy relations to what bacteria is and what it does in our world, more than just the come hay bacillus.
5:14 You know what is even more terrifying, there is a real life phenomenon that is quite similar to the Backrooms, its called Missing 411, it's a book series written by a retired police officer/investigator named David Paulides which is a collection of countless hours worth of strange disappearances happening in National Parks all across North America, some of these disappearances are just flat out unexplainable and bizarre, David himself doesnt necessarily give a theory as to what is causing these disappearances, but he insinuates that there is *something* in these national parks, hunting humans, pretty freaky and terrifying stuff...

9:04 if you look closely, you can see 3 people walk by, and they acted like he wasn't even there. When the team went into the back rooms, there were only 3. The guy with the red rope, one with the briefcase, and the one filming. when you enter one of these nul zones, reality must shift creating an alternate version of you, or overlapping realities. The sounds that attracted our camera man might be thin places leading to, or coming from our reality. Sounded like a classroom, or comons office space to me.

I knew the backrooms were a thing before, but this is a whole different level. Kane is incredible, and I think he's a pretty young guy too. The video quality is so incredibly insane that I sincerely thought that this was real footage. Edit: At 14:05 you see how it's almost a map and how there is dotted lines, almost showing these people where they are or where they're going. Regarding back to the video that Ryan showed at 17:08, you see all this technology stuff that could be the same things as in the server room. I think they know that the backrooms are definitely something more, and are trying to control it in some way, or even monitor the creatures inside for scientific purposes. Referring back to the map back at 14:05, you see on the bottom right how it looks like there are computers. If we look back to when the guy went into that server room, there is also computers to the right of him. Maybe they had some sort of escape plan for if a creature of some sort ever broke in, or if the fungus they were talking about spread. I'm not too sure about what to think of that other level or whatever it is at 11:43, maybe it was some sort of glitch in dimensions, like I see people talking about on some of the other comments here. Either way, this backrooms stuff is very interesting.

PLEASE READ! When he walked in the server room, there was a door because it had yellow and black marks on the bottom right in front of him. In the second picture, behind that door it said threshold. They used this word for another name for the enter door to the backrooms. This makes me think that their are multiple ways out of the back rooms or enter doors.
Maybe the guy turned into the monster? It could make sense because the alarm went off when as he had a piece of that "fungus". Maybe the entity transforms humans into these monsters, which can correlate to the number of "missing", and how we saw two different monsters in the first ever video Kane posted. One risk with this theory is that there are existing monsters, and all the entity does is kill people and leave them like that man dead resting on the wall. But I do think my thoughts are correct. I also think that the entity wants to escape, or wants to expand. Escaping in this case would be to come to our reality, and do what it wants. Or, it wants to expand. We know the backrooms has many layers to it, and possibly by using the memories of other humans that went "missing", the entity can expand by making objects and rooms that are similar to our description of our world. One evidence to support expansion is the room where we found a wheel barrel and a barn/house, but it was looked like a painting with two doors that we heard some type of snoring. Possibly a monster was sleeping there. What I find interesting is that we do not know about the two silhouettes standing at the window in the first video, possibly to show that we have gone deeper into the backrooms than anticipated, and because the first video comes years after the videos we just watched, it could mean that even with the increase of missing people, the company still wants to continue their research into the backrooms, and have started to go deeper in, just like how we saw the barnyard and their research room, indicating their concentrated involvement in the backrooms. I predict the government will have a say on it, or be involved too. We may see a team joining in with protection after the incident with the boy, possibly to kill off the monster. Especially that they got the footage, they must now have known about what monsters lies in it and what horrific things they can do. Still my speculation, and I have not read too much on what others have said. But I am excited to see what Kane will put out next :)

I have a theory, so the Backroom's was created for traveling thro dimensjon's. But as the descoverd dimensjon's they found a World That had a fungus That had spread. As they Went in they got infected. When returning they descoverd the fungus and sent the infected person away. After some time they sat a alarm to warn if somebody had it. As time went on a new person went in to the dimensjon and got infected, but the plauge had become more powerfull and ended up turning the new infected person into a monster That ruind the Project and IT killed many people and the Backroom's got seald away

The backrooms is one of the few new things like this that really get me. Slenderman was scary back in the day, Sirenhead wasn't scary at all, but THIS terrifies me. The idea of that endless constantly shifting space that you can just get trapped in alone until something gets you or you die of dehydration in that GOD AWFUL YELLOW. Good GOD I hate yellow, that is like... hell. I hope this guy that got lost'll be okay though as unlikely as it might be, I get a good vibe from his voice.

You can find other survivors in the other Floors, but it only you in Floor 0 until you get out.
This video adds to the fact that they can willingly enter Level 0 as a group, but once separate, they’re separate for good unless they reunite on a new floor.

I have a theory regarding everything so far. Firstly, this fungus can infect and warp anyone's perception. Upon trying to retreat back to the Null Zone, The alarms sound, alerting everyone that one of them has been compromised. The area he likely got infected was that stadium area when he was inspecting the fungus. I also believe the reason they have to travel in 3's is because of that distortion that was caused by splitting up. Staying together will reduce the chance of getting killed, as from what we know, the back rooms can change to adapt almost instantly. Plus the red line will lead them back to a Null Zone, which is promised to keep them safe, regardless what the Back Rooms can do to distort their POV.
The Null Zones, from my understanding, are zones that cannot change. Anything out of Null Zones is subject to change at any moment and can be altered to lure prey deeper into the backrooms. However, setting things up in Null Zones prevents any and all distortions from occurring. This is why the lab is well made and has all the resources needed, plus is in the same place. These distortions include audio and visual changes.
The Fungus is what made that monster we saw in the first episode. They make more sentient and more hostile counterparts to what they obtain. Now, the Fungus's goal is to escape the back rooms and reach the outside. We know the Back rooms is a sentient being of some sort, aware of what is going on. There would be no reason the back rooms would of allowed him to return, unless it was intended. This last part is far fetched, but it's what I personally believe.
Edit 1: I also believe the Back Rooms can use the memory of those it taints to recreate the rooms to their vision, replicating the memories and creating rooms based on such.
I think its a good theory, but the fungus was never mentioned in any of the other reports, and the guys clearly didn't know about it, which would be weird if it was something dangerous with alarms set for it
The backrooms I think is mostly unexplored, but there are labs and "checkpoints" for travelers, which would explain that room at the end which the person knew the door code/had touch Id access. Your theory COULD explain why that alarm sounded, but I think that the fungus would have been more known. Mabye the travelers were knew to the program, which would explain why the person separated and didn't follow protocols since he didn't stay in the group

The reason why they are wearing those suits cause the lore states that every 10 to 20 minutes, you will lose your mind more and more. With those suits, I think they are preventing their minds from getting lost. That also explains the red rope to lead them back to the real world

I think that the reason they have gas masks is that the back rooms are emitting some kind of gas/chemicals that make someone who breathes it in start to hallucinate and I think that the second video we found, the guy who got lost had a leak in his oxi tank and started to see/hear things even though his friends were right next to him. Idk I'm just going on a whim.

A- The scientists (other than this guy) are aware that following strange noises and other disruptions is a bad idea, and will get them separated. They may have been so focused on exploring and blocking out the noise that they didn’t notice the camera scientist standing there, and that’s when things went wrong.
B- The other scientists were too far behind to hear the noise, so when camera scientist went to explore, the zone changed so the other scientists couldn’t see/hear into that area, and this one gets separated due to trying to explore too far without the others.
the briefcases they are carrying are actually for the storage of a oxygen tank way back during the cold war the concept was made as a easy way to portably carry extra air for exploration in places that has toxic air environment's allowing longer time to explore without having to come back for air.

When he got lost from his friends and he started panicking, it gave me flashbacks from when I was really young and how you would lose your parents in the grocery store, it was such a silly little fear that would freak you out but when you take in perspective, it’s honestly terrifying that you could just get lost and even though you knew you were safe you just starting panicking, I just can’t imagine what that guy would’ve been experiencing in his mind

Or the MC tells someone and convince him to leave with him trying to find the exit. Finding the exit early in the serie but it's too hard to leave so they continue until finding the real exit. The area with the foresty wallpaper is I think meant to be a mockery or reconstitution in the backrooms, of an actual wooded area in the real world. The house place looks like a lone farm in the middle of the woods, with farming tools outside, and a small axe propped next to a tree that should have been real, to cut it down for firewood.

There might be another universe trying to replicate Mars or something. The Backrooms is around 1/6 the size of the Universe. And all of the (almost) infinite levels are connected by the void of the blue channel.
I will break the ice for you, Ryan, there was a video you missed in the description of First Contact. I sum it up, it was basically saying that accessing the Backrooms caused a massive California earthquake.
The red thing the guy was holding was a really long red rope which was dragged throughout the Backrooms to know where they last travelled, since the Backrooms is a maze with repetitive yellow wallpapers and the absence of landmarks making it hard to pinpoint on where your location is.

Part of me has this sick twisted theory that the reason those observation rooms are there is that scientists are hoping people get lost in there so they can monitor how much the rooms change. Because when the guy reaches the room he seems almost confused and hesitates to open the door as if he didn't even know what it was. I like to think that these guys are sent out to explore the rooms but if one gets lost they also don't worry too much as it means more information on the rooms and how they shift. But that's just my wacky theory.

I also have a theory: the backrooms was a technology generated thingy where they tried to create a storage to save the world from pollution but failed and went out of hand to create this distorted thing that isn't what they intended...the distortion of the backrooms was so harsh it interfered with reality itself to create noclip zones to capture people in an endless maze of mono yellow wallpaper

While there is a chance that the guy that was covered in fungus became the monster, i dont think he was necessarily the one that started it all or the one in the first video (referencing "if all, blame him"). Its totally possible that other people that have sucked into the backrooms have gotten the fungus earlier. I dont know much about backrooms lore, but its possible that theres more than 1 monster (unless lore states otherwise). If there is more than 1 monster, then multiple people that fell into the backrooms wouls have to be infected with the fungus in order to turn into the monster. For now, I will agree with Ryan that the guy that is being referred to is the CEO or creator of A-tech or whatever the company is. They were the ones that created the backrooms in the first place. For all I know, Kane Pixels might change everything with his next upload.

To anyone confused, the workers company “glitched out” because certain levels of the backrooms are non-linear. The room behind him changed and was sent away, and with it, his company. Normally, it would be impossible to enter level 0 as a group, as everyone is always separated, however the “portal” was able to pinpoint a single section of the backrooms.
I know this was before the recent presentation, but I can still debunk this.
1. He doesn’t call these yellow hallways levels, or any other place in his canon. Levels don’t exist.
2. It’s kinda obvious he time traveled when pitfalls came out.

Theory here! So for the fungus, there's an actual entity that can spread the fungus (called a crawler) but animals or other entitys can only catch it, but the the infected entitys can attack the humans who are in its presence and spread the fungus to them.
Also there is this other entity called hounds, its literally a human but on all fours and acts like a hound ( hits the name hound) and looking at the dead body, it does look like a hound got hold of him and the fungus on the wall could be his blood after getting mauled by the hound and the fungus spreading to the blood on the wall. This would make more sense but only downside is that getting bitten by a hound you turn into a hound due to the virus that hounds carry. But we don't know if the body is fresh or old.
Reminds me of parts of the movie Annihilation.

5:14 You know what is even more terrifying, there is a real life phenomenon that is quite similar to the Backrooms, its called Missing 411, it's a book series written by a retired police officer/investigator named David Paulides which is a collection of countless hours worth of strange disappearances happening in National Parks all across North America, some of these disappearances are just flat out unexplainable and bizarre, David himself doesnt necessarily give a theory as to what is causing these disappearances, but he insinuates that there is *something* in these national parks, hunting humans, pretty freaky and terrifying stuff...

I knew the backrooms were a thing before, but this is a whole different level. Kane is incredible, and I think he's a pretty young guy too. The video quality is so incredibly insane that I sincerely thought that this was real footage.
Edit: At 14:05 you see how it's almost a map and how there is dotted lines, almost showing these people where they are or where they're going. Regarding back to the video that Ryan showed at 17:08, you see all this technology stuff that could be the same things as in the server room. I think they know that the backrooms are definitely something more, and are trying to control it in some way, or even monitor the creatures inside for scientific purposes. Referring back to the map back at 14:05, you see on the bottom right how it looks like there are computers. If we look back to when the guy went into that server room, there is also computers to the right of him. Maybe they had some sort of escape plan for if a creature of some sort ever broke in, or if the fungus they were talking about spread. I'm not too sure about what to think of that other level or whatever it is at 11:43, maybe it was some sort of glitch in dimensions, like I see people talking about on some of the other comments here. Either way, this backrooms stuff is very interesting.

PLEASE READ! When he walked in the server room, there was a door because it had yellow and black marks on the bottom right in front of him. In the second picture, behind that door it said threshold. They used this word for another name for the enter door to the backrooms. This makes me think that their are multiple ways out of the back rooms or enter doors.
Maybe the guy turned into the monster? It could make sense because the alarm went off when as he had a piece of that "fungus". Maybe the entity transforms humans into these monsters, which can correlate to the number of "missing", and how we saw two different monsters in the first ever video Kane posted.
One risk with this theory is that there are existing monsters, and all the entity does is kill people and leave them like that man dead resting on the wall. But I do think my thoughts are correct.
I also think that the entity wants to escape, or wants to expand. Escaping in this case would be to come to our reality, and do what it wants. Or, it wants to expand. We know the backrooms has many layers to it, and possibly by using the memories of other humans that went "missing", the entity can expand by making objects and rooms that are similar to our description of our world. One evidence to support expansion is the room where we found a wheel barrel and a barn/house, but it was looked like a painting with two doors that we heard some type of snoring. Possibly a monster was sleeping there.
What I find interesting is that we do not know about the two silhouettes standing at the window in the first video, possibly to show that we have gone deeper into the backrooms than anticipated, and because the first video comes years after the videos we just watched, it could mean that even with the increase of missing people, the company still wants to continue their research into the backrooms, and have started to go deeper in, just like how we saw the barnyard and their research room, indicating their concentrated involvement in the backrooms.
I predict the government will have a say on it, or be involved too. We may see a team joining in with protection after the incident with the boy, possibly to kill off the monster. Especially that they got the footage, they must now have known about what monsters lies in it and what horrific things they can do.
Still my speculation, and I have not read too much on what others have said. But I am excited to see what Kane will put out next :)

I have a theory, so the Backroom's was created for traveling thro dimensjon's. But as the descoverd dimensjon's they found a World That had a fungus That had spread. As they Went in they got infected. When returning they descoverd the fungus and sent the infected person away. After some time they sat a alarm to warn if somebody had it. As time went on a new person went in to the dimensjon and got infected, but the plauge had become more powerfull and ended up turning the new infected person into a monster That ruind the Project and IT killed many people and the Backroom's got seald away

The idea that the backrooms has been around since the 1800s is beyond terrifying
Ok now i am intrigued. This made my theory, imagination and lore in the backroom much more deeper, interesting and much harder to understand. The one who made this did an amazing Job this is more fascinating than i expected man and it will almost make you think it's actually real
Edit: 16:35 What i think about this one is i think that the backroom had infected him what i mean by that is like he is stuck there and can no longer escape and if he did that's when the fungus or virus escape the backrooms and no clip people our of reality or like what he said he got infected by some kind of fungus that's why they wear those type of clothing when entering it
And if the null zones is like a calling to those who got infected and the sounds we heard or he heard is just the symptoms what am i saying this makes no sense
The dark zones when he used the flashlight we saw a different place or layer which means for me that the dark zones are like the working zone for them i do think they're building a civilization in there
