This is honestly one of the best back rooms videos I’ve ever seen. I thought they did this in a real location, but learning it was all CGI had me honestly surprised. Props to the people who made the video.

Fun fact: according to color theory, too much of the color yellow is overstimulating and will cause anxiety, stress. And fear. Perhaps this is why the walls are yellow within the backrooms. While red is typically a warning sign, yellow can be too.
Typically, many shades of of yellow are generally viewed as disgusting, ugly, or even just tacky. This view on these shades of the color leads them to have(for the most part) lower prices; this leads to the color being a easy choice for any company looking to paint an office space cheaply. The color however, is tentatively an eyesore. (Edit: the yellow in the backrooms)
Honestly, if you think THIS is all there is to the Backrooms? You guys havent seen anything yet! I introduce you to, the Backrooms Wikidot! The lore is SO DEEP that the fact that most only assume that the backrooms ends with just this one simple drab yellow maze is a shame!
The backrooms seem like everyone's worst nightmare. Randomly clipping through the world and ending up in a mysterious labyrinth with nobody else but a unknown entity that most likely wants to kill you.

Kane's work is actually extremely impressive. First found him through his Attack on Titan animations which were quite awesome with the setting being an old film. Stuck around since and watched this backrooms video shortly after it came out. Dude deserves all the support his viewers can give. Very great work.

Heck, what would even happen if he did fell? Is it suppose to say that there have been a way out to the real world in Backroom Level 0, or was it only to send the camera out while the victim goes deeper in?

When you did the frame-by-frame of the ending where the guy gets dragged into the back rooms by the beast and only his camera makes it out, my heart honestly sank into my stomach. I don’t he will be killed, just kept as prisoner in the back rooms to either face eternal torture or be turned into some sort of monster himself.
you can actually escape I think on the level 3999 there is a big area with arcade maschines and you have to go north the entire time until you see people who can guide you. Then you have to ask them to guide you north and if you see a glass door, that is your escape to reality.
I love how Kane went from being “This Guy” to being “Kane Pixels”. Its crazy to see how hes just known for being as good as he is and hes not one of those basic analog horror creators; hes Kane Pixels
I promise you, there's far more worse situation in this video. The eternal ending, in that backroom you cannot die but dont worry, it will just takes you a little amount of your time, maybe a few million years before you become a mindless that roams the backroom? The back rooms is easily one of the most unsettling things I’ve ever heard. It’s not about the monsters or the rooms. It’s the silence, the mood, the light and the fact that you’re in an infinite maze with very few escapes and those “escapes” are to a new room that’s even more difficult, with more obstacles and more monsters. It’s something you’d never want to be in
If I end up in the backrooms I don’t even know how I’d live for longer than 3 days, keeping in mind that the human body just straight up dies if you don’t give it water for about 4 days, and the back rooms is 3x bigger than Earth.
The backrooms to me is both creepy, and oddly relaxing, just that surreal feeling that I can't get enough of. It's like one of those dreams you wake up from and can't process what happened, and you just want to go back and see it again.
2 of those places (the stairs w blue light, and the courtyard) are two popular liminal space photos I see circling on the internet a lot. It caught me off guard to see them here
I don't know how but during the chase I just felt overwhelmed and genuinly feared for my life as if I was the one being chased. Goes to show how good the animator is on suspense and horror in general. Fear of the unknown, and what is exactly chasing you use the worst.

I felt the same way and I was scared that I turned off the volume. After seeing that THING I’m looking into corridors, it’s amazingly disturbing when added with a realistic background.. looks lifelike..
@@KiteeTheFox The CGI is better than most movies, I think it's just the camera movement that captures that lifelike feeling. Paired with the cameraman's voice it seems like it's actually real.
6:24 sounds like the monster is repeating the words "don't move stay still, don't move stay still" just as it was written on the wall so it seems that the monster was trying to bait the cameraman into getting killed
Nah it's a tip IMO. If you think about it, kane was making a lot of noise panting, walking loudly, etc. He attracted the monster to him. Since people fall into different locations, if someone fell there, they would know to stay still to not attract anything that might be out there.
The Backrooms lore is actually just as interesting as SCP lore. Each level of the Backrooms actually interact with each other. And while most levels are horror fuel, there are some levels that people would consider a paradise.

@@zegolem3607 the Suburban area is mostly safe. It is a level filled with suburbs and is quite snowy. If you stay inside the houses you will be safe but outside theres are entities that might get you. In the higher levels theres one that is based around your own memories, and its unique to you, it is safe as long as you do not speak with anyone on that level, even loved ones. The city is the most safe of all levels. Theres no enemies there but theres also nothing to Do. Theres no one, no sound, nothing. Those are all levels that are said to be the most enjoyable.
finding the stairs in the first level is extremely hard and making it back to level 1 is extremely hard it would take months so long that you might die of starvation if you dont find the stuff that u might find along the way
I love how Kane acknowledged that the Backrooms isn't just 1 infinite level of mono-yellow. There's more levels like Level Fun =), Ageless Woods, and the one that gives me the most creeps.. The Hive.
The one that’s the most creepy to me of the main 9, is level 5 the hotel. Being completely alone in a giant hotel, the only means of escape being the boiler room which reaches heats so bad you can die from it. That seems just horrifying to me
The Back-rooms is where things are left to rot and be forgotten, basically a backstage to life where props aka corpses and other things that are no longer in use are left. That wire-monster probably is a more twisted and rotten version of a electrician’s dead corpse but still alive with no soul
If you listen closely, you can hear the monster saying "no, nooooo" and "don't go, DONT GOOO" as if it's trying to warn Kane, or possibly over-exited do see a person for the first time in months, perhaps years...
When I first saw the video I legit thought it would be some cringe, clickbait type content and when I watched through it it felt like I was watching the Mandela catalogue all over again with the suspense and fear in the back of your mind that lingers. Kane has done a phenomenal job on creating the tension for this video, and I’m hyped to see where this series is going (Edit: I also never noticed him taking the man, holy shit that surprised me)
@Astroblaze the Reality Traverser its a entity found within the backrooms known as entity 2 or window. it often looks like a window with a void behind it and a shadowy figure within. if the person is aware of it it will gesture to come closer. if you approach the window it grabs you.

Kane Pixels CGI skills are amazing. I used to watch his old Attack on Titan historical videos and they honestly look real, I recommended watching them all.
What I’m curious about is that the note the Ryan read said “If you hear something, it has heard you”, so I wonder if the monster in this sees through echolocation

The fact you can't tell how close the entity is is actually terrifying. It deceives you by sounding further away, and then at the very end gives itself away after having snuck behind you. Genuinely horrifying.
While it could be cool, I feel like it'd be hard to expand it further than a short film. There's only so much content you can get from "infinite maze + monster" You'd eventually run out of things to do unless you added some way to escape

The full backrooms lore is rly cool. There’s tons of different levels. And specific ones where there’s gatherings of people trading stuff etc etc. And for some reason there’s a lot of almond water….
Oh yeah, I like that! It’s especially nice since it has room for other stories if the author doesn’t just want to make a horror story. Like, you could have two tribes fighting each other over a source of almond water.
Fun fact: The one who created the Backrooms found footage is 16 years old. Besides the backrooms, he also created realistic Attack On Titan found footages
I said it once, I'll say it again, subtlety is everything in horror, and this video, with the large empty rooms, the creature you can only barely make out from a long distance, the movements you can see in your peripheral vision... This is the pinnacle of horror. Now that I'm less tired, I'll elaborate a little. There's no in your face jumpscares, no cheesy horror tropes. This video takes a concept like being trapped in an endless maze and makes it scarier. The sheer emptiness makes you feel alone, but the indoors feel of the place gives the vibe there must be other people here. The green hue make it feel like whatever this place is, it's not normal, or not real. Because of how mundane, yet strange this place is, it feels really off. You barely see the creature itself, but that makes it creepier. You can only make out it's basic outline, but it's proportions are weird enough you can't exactly grasp what it is. It moves so quickly it's terrifying. The sounds it makes are so unnerving, all that can be discerned from this strange noise is the terrible feeling that somehow, you F*cked up. This is spoopy, is what I'm trying to get at
@@FumanyuX I wouldn't consider it one because you get a warning beforehand that builds the tension, giving you a split second of fear of what'll come nect before it happens. A jumpscare would be it coming completely out of nowhere just to throw you off.
Something that truly makes me feel bad is that even if the guy jumped down where the camera was dropped there was a chance of him dying anyway. That fall is very deadly and if he did survive it he would've bled to death most likely.
My friend, that fall will kill anyone. Unless they jumped into a pool of water then maybe. But then again, just like everyone is saying, the monster did grab him before he jumped down so I don't think it would've mattered anyway.
@@Swisha16 A swimming pool would probably still result in your death. He'd need to land down many tree branches to slowly break his fall, and will still be very injured.

The backrooms is the one place that gives me true fear even if it is fictional. It gives me this eerie creepy feeling of insecurity knowing that you can never escape and you can never prevent entering. The concept in general is a million dollar horror idea. It's overall just so horrific.
I also didn’t realize until watching the original video 10 times that just the camera fell. But it looks like the guy lifts up the entity in the end but I still assume he died.
I really think there’s should be a backrooms game, one with multiple areas with different themes that would use subtle horror like this but allow for vast amounts of exploration despite its cramped setting.
What I absolutely love about the backrooms is that it literally just pulls you in and gets you guessing about what's happening and the atmosphere is very very unsettling it just gives off an ominous and otherworldly feel that you can't quite understand
The video by Kane Pixels sent me down The Backrooms rabbit hole. This reaction was pretty good as well. I didn't even realize that the guy was caught at the end and the camera was the only thing that fell. Glad you showed me that!
I've been following Kane Pixels for about a year now due to the fact that I also interest in 3d animation. Being experienced in how long it takes to create something like this, I can say that this video is literally a masterpiece!

I remember I had bad dreams of me going down my old house’s basement to something similar to this and it just kept going. And I read somewhere that some people that were revived remember being in an empty waiting room while they were supposedly dead. It’s comforting to know that people share this nightmare because I thought I had the worst one as a kid until I heard about the Backrooms.
its surprising that i can watch all the haloween films without being scared but because this is so well made when he was being chased by the monster for the first time i stopped breathing for 5 minutes
The backrooms did got a lot more added into it recently, feels SCP like with all the types of levels, ways to get into those different levels, different entities. Really creepy

In the Backrooms lore, the fire-exists in level 2 usually take you to level 1, with the rare chance to take you to another room. To exit level 2 you have to keep walking.
Personally I hate clipping through things, and it gives me the creeps when it happens in video games. Suffice to say I got a small hint of whiplash when he clipped through the floor.

Saw this at Baz's channel, it was so damn well made!! 5:27 Even more effective is what they already did to this point: a figure disappearing behind a corner. Flashes of things in the dark space that make you look, make you think, that looked like a tentacle, or something alien, something wrong... That mixed in with the use of black space is imo the creepiest shit.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen any footage of the other levels of the backrooms. Very surprised that it showed us level 2, hopefully it will end up showing us the other hundreds of levels, very interested to see how level 7 and level 12 are animated and created, big props to the maker of this 👏
Theory: What if the backrooms is a government testing facility that pulls in random not needed civilians to test captured creatures, and they watch from behind the walls without being seen. Also maybe it looks like that because the people that run the rooms are testing this creature in human like habitats. This would explain the military grade looking doors and things and the two people watching at 8:25 and the wired imagery at 13:44 - 16:25
I think my favorite part of this reaction is how little you know about the backrooms. This was the last video I saw before I started looking into the backrooms proper, and it goes SO deep. This stuff is super complicated and still so little is known seeing as it's a smorgasbord of misery made from the internet creativity- and despite how strange and abstract it all is, it still feels cohesive and mysterious. I love it. It's absolutely mad.
The howling of the monsters remind me of the sounds from the vents of my grandparents three story house, I always thought that the sounds were like monsters and some of the paintings in the house were similar to the monsters from this footage. Every night my sister would always go off and sleep with Dad and I was by myself on the third floor and I was too scared to follow her and sleep with them but I’m sorta of glad I didn’t most of the time because they always steal the duvet
The first time I was genuinely screaming for a minute when he was being chased. This is actually cgi and vfx, the fact that he's been able to make me scream and feel like I'm the one running, with pure cgi. Kane is amazing at this
Here's my theory: The scientists were able to manage to create a computer generated dimension that's located in the same realm as ours, however doing so created a paradox that can sometimes noclip people out of reality to the other dimension (Backrooms). Not entirely sure if this is the case, but my guess is that the scientist were either trying to make a place to stay safe or used for other reasons that's either good or bad. I don't really know that much but I might be right.
If you listen closely enough it sounds like the first entity that the camera man came across is saying "Wait!", "No!", and "Don't Leave!". Just thought that was an interesting fact to share with ya'll!

I love how the backrooms began with a short description and an image and it got everyone hooked. Now the backrooms essentially has its own Lore. Multiple levels that connect other popular liminal spaces. It's crazy.
I cannot believe all the locations are CGI, it looked so freakin' real. Mad respect to the creator. I was never a Backrooms fan, but if videos like these give me more insight into the actual lore, I'm fairly certain I might end up liking the Backrooms just as much as the SCP Foundation.
16:08 i believe this image could be of the start to another level called the Pipes. it’s often regarded as one of the most dangerous levels of the backrooms, and is one many new explorers clip to since they don’t know how to avoid it. i believe people were documenting others experiences in the backrooms, and through that they discovered the Null Zone, a no-clip area within the Office level. an unfortunate explorer no-clipped right after entering the Null Zone, that picture could be of their own or the observers documentation of the Pipes when they first discovered the level from the Null Zone clip
Honestly, I like the totally new monster. The Backrooms already has it’s own entities, but this video series almost feels like it could be a remaster of the Backrooms lore, which is something it’s needed (and we thought would never get) for years.
God, the backrooms is such a MASSIVE liminal space. And I imagine it’s what’s kickstarting a massive love for those kinds of spaces. The feeling of eeriness can be traced to the fact that you expect someone, ANYONE, to be in this space and to say ‘lol! gotcha!’ But it never happens. It’s like if the rapture were to happen right then and there, and you were the only person not to get picked up and didn’t know. It feels like a whole different reality, which the Backrooms are.
When he got pushed down from that dark hall, choaked on my burger and couldn't believe what I saw. Terrifying, nothing comes close to explaining how terrifying that was for me.
The Backrooms are one of the most interesting horror stuff I've seen in a very long time. They're creepy just imagine getting stuck in there and dying to an entity or falling into The void... That would be hell... 7:31 is familiar And that window scene is also familiar..
The wildest thing about the tension and build up in some of these is the fact that even though you don't see anything at the moment your mind is literally running through all the different things that would be horrific to YOU personally. And it is going to be something different for each person who is watching this and that is a really neat concept when done right like this is. Just the build up prior to even showing you anything at all! I am 46 yrs old and I absolutely LOVE watching this stuff and the SCP's. Just really creative concepts coming from the younger generations. Doing awesome work without Hollyweird behind you or some massive budget spent creating content like this.

Well the backrooms are escapable through level 3999 or "The way out" which is random and insanely rare and its surrounded by yellow light

you can actually escape I think on the level 3999 there is a big area with arcade maschines and you have to go north the entire time until you see people who can guide you. Then you have to ask them to guide you north and if you see a glass door, that is your escape to reality.

The back rooms is easily one of the most unsettling things I’ve ever heard. It’s not about the monsters or the rooms.
It’s the silence, the mood, the light and the fact that you’re in an infinite maze with very few escapes and those “escapes” are to a new room that’s even more difficult, with more obstacles and more monsters.
It’s something you’d never want to be in
If I end up in the backrooms I don’t even know how I’d live for longer than 3 days, keeping in mind that the human body just straight up dies if you don’t give it water for about 4 days, and the back rooms is 3x bigger than Earth.

The backrooms to me is both creepy, and oddly relaxing, just that surreal feeling that I can't get enough of. It's like one of those dreams you wake up from and can't process what happened, and you just want to go back and see it again.
I love found footage horrors, they just hit differently. Also this area in the video gives out liminal space vibe which I love.

I don't know how but during the chase I just felt overwhelmed and genuinly feared for my life as if I was the one being chased.

I think that is because of the creature's weird form. So if you watch it in nornal speed it looks like the guy is a part of the creature
6:24 sounds like the monster is repeating the words "don't move stay still, don't move stay still" just as it was written on the wall so it seems that the monster was trying to bait the cameraman into getting killed
Nah it's a tip IMO. If you think about it, kane was making a lot of noise panting, walking loudly, etc. He attracted the monster to him. Since people fall into different locations, if someone fell there, they would know to stay still to not attract anything that might be out there.

The Backrooms lore is actually just as interesting as SCP lore. Each level of the Backrooms actually interact with each other. And while most levels are horror fuel, there are some levels that people would consider a paradise.

@@zegolem3607 the Suburban area is mostly safe. It is a level filled with suburbs and is quite snowy. If you stay inside the houses you will be safe but outside theres are entities that might get you. In the higher levels theres one that is based around your own memories, and its unique to you, it is safe as long as you do not speak with anyone on that level, even loved ones. The city is the most safe of all levels. Theres no enemies there but theres also nothing to Do. Theres no one, no sound, nothing. Those are all levels that are said to be the most enjoyable.
He is actually extremely lucky to have found the stairs this early and even more so that he was able to make it back up to the yellow back rooms.

Being completely alone in a giant hotel, the only means of escape being the boiler room which reaches heats so bad you can die from it. That seems just horrifying to me

When I first saw the video I legit thought it would be some cringe, clickbait type content and when I watched through it it felt like I was watching the Mandela catalogue all over again with the suspense and fear in the back of your mind that lingers. Kane has done a phenomenal job on creating the tension for this video, and I’m hyped to see where this series is going

I said it once, I'll say it again, subtlety is everything in horror, and this video, with the large empty rooms, the creature you can only barely make out from a long distance, the movements you can see in your peripheral vision... This is the pinnacle of horror.
Now that I'm less tired, I'll elaborate a little. There's no in your face jumpscares, no cheesy horror tropes. This video takes a concept like being trapped in an endless maze and makes it scarier. The sheer emptiness makes you feel alone, but the indoors feel of the place gives the vibe there must be other people here. The green hue make it feel like whatever this place is, it's not normal, or not real. Because of how mundane, yet strange this place is, it feels really off.
You barely see the creature itself, but that makes it creepier. You can only make out it's basic outline, but it's proportions are weird enough you can't exactly grasp what it is. It moves so quickly it's terrifying. The sounds it makes are so unnerving, all that can be discerned from this strange noise is the terrible feeling that somehow, you F*cked up.

Something that truly makes me feel bad is that even if the guy jumped down where the camera was dropped there was a chance of him dying anyway. That fall is very deadly and if he did survive it he would've bled to death most likely.

The backrooms is the one place that gives me true fear even if it is fictional. It gives me this eerie creepy feeling of insecurity knowing that you can never escape and you can never prevent entering. The concept in general is a million dollar horror idea. It's overall just so horrific.

This is the best Backrooms content I've seen yet. This really captures how terrifying it would be to suddenly be lost in a place like this.
What I absolutely love about the backrooms is that it literally just pulls you in and gets you guessing about what's happening and the atmosphere is very very unsettling it just gives off an ominous and otherworldly feel that you can't quite understand

I've been following Kane Pixels for about a year now due to the fact that I also interest in 3d animation. Being experienced in how long it takes to create something like this, I can say that this video is literally a masterpiece!

And I read somewhere that some people that were revived remember being in an empty waiting room while they were supposedly dead. In the Backrooms lore, the fire-exists in level 2 usually take you to level 1, with the rare chance to take you to another room. To exit level 2 you have to keep walking.
Personally I hate clipping through things, and it gives me the creeps when it happens in video games.

first of all, it's not level 2 it's level 188 and if it was, it would be level 1 because he exited from level 0 (the yellow level)
Theory: What if the backrooms is a government testing facility that pulls in random not needed civilians to test captured creatures, and they watch from behind the walls without being seen. Also maybe it looks like that because the people that run the rooms are testing this creature in human like habitats. This would explain the military grade looking doors and things and the two people watching at 8:25 and the wired imagery at 13:44 - 16:25

I think my favorite part of this reaction is how little you know about the backrooms. This was the last video I saw before I started looking into the backrooms proper, and it goes SO deep. This stuff is super complicated and still so little is known seeing as it's a smorgasbord of misery made from the internet creativity- and despite how strange and abstract it all is, it still feels cohesive and mysterious. I love it. It's absolutely mad.

The howling of the monsters remind me of the sounds from the vents of my grandparents three story house, I always thought that the sounds were like monsters and some of the paintings in the house were similar to the monsters from this footage. Every night my sister would always go off and sleep with Dad and I was by myself on the third floor and I was too scared to follow her and sleep with them but I’m sorta of glad I didn’t most of the time because they always steal the duvet

The first time I was genuinely screaming for a minute when he was being chased. This is actually cgi and vfx, the fact that he's been able to make me scream and feel like I'm the one running, with pure cgi. Kane is amazing at this
Here's my theory: The scientists were able to manage to create a computer generated dimension that's located in the same realm as ours, however doing so created a paradox that can sometimes noclip people out of reality to the other dimension (Backrooms). Not entirely sure if this is the case, but my guess is that the scientist were either trying to make a place to stay safe or used for other reasons that's either good or bad.
I don't really know that much but I might be right.
The monsters might be creatures from other planets that no clipped here and reproduced

scientists making a safe space for us doesn't really make sense considering hostile levels and hostile entities exist in it.
If you listen closely enough it sounds like the first entity that the camera man came across is saying "Wait!", "No!", and "Don't Leave!". Just thought that was an interesting fact to share with ya'll!

I love how the backrooms began with a short description and an image and it got everyone hooked. Now the backrooms essentially has its own Lore. Multiple levels that connect other popular liminal spaces. It's crazy.

I cannot believe all the locations are CGI, it looked so freakin' real. Mad respect to the creator. I was never a Backrooms fan, but if videos like these give me more insight into the actual lore, I'm fairly certain I might end up liking the Backrooms just as much as the SCP Foundation.

16:08 i believe this image could be of the start to another level called the Pipes. it’s often regarded as one of the most dangerous levels of the backrooms, and is one many new explorers clip to since they don’t know how to avoid it. i believe people were documenting others experiences in the backrooms, and through that they discovered the Null Zone, a no-clip area within the Office level. an unfortunate explorer no-clipped right after entering the Null Zone, that picture could be of their own or the observers documentation of the Pipes when they first discovered the level from the Null Zone clip
The place at 8:05, is also a level in the Backrooms. Level 188. And it's actually a real hotel in London.

Honestly, I like the totally new monster. The Backrooms already has it’s own entities, but this video series almost feels like it could be a remaster of the Backrooms lore, which is something it’s needed (and we thought would never get) for years.
level 0 was already rewritten, we don't need a backrooms fandom 2.0 it's just so bad.
God, the backrooms is such a MASSIVE liminal space. And I imagine it’s what’s kickstarting a massive love for those kinds of spaces.
The feeling of eeriness can be traced to the fact that you expect someone, ANYONE, to be in this space and to say ‘lol! gotcha!’ But it never happens. It’s like if the rapture were to happen right then and there, and you were the only person not to get picked up and didn’t know. It feels like a whole different reality, which the Backrooms are.

The wildest thing about the tension and build up in some of these is the fact that even though you don't see anything at the moment your mind is literally running through all the different things that would be horrific to YOU personally. And it is going to be something different for each person who is watching this and that is a really neat concept when done right like this is. Just the build up prior to even showing you anything at all! I am 46 yrs old and I absolutely LOVE watching this stuff and the SCP's. Just really creative concepts coming from the younger generations. Doing awesome work without Hollyweird behind you or some massive budget spent creating content like this.
